Hi,

I was wondering if you can answer some question please.

1 What time does the shuttle service start at Pop going to the parks and how long does it take normaly to get there.

2 How often do the buses run to the parks, every hour or less.

3 My son is autistic and we were thinking of going to seaworld, I see you can get a discount for him and a carer at seaworld can you tell me what the discount is please.

4 I know you can get a GAC card for WDW, but do you get any sort of assistance at seaworld.

5 This is our first trip to WDW and I was wondering do you think MK will be to busy for our first day and maybe AK would be a better choice, we are going to WDW on the 9TH of July for 2 weeks.

Many thanks for any help and advise.

Hi and welcome to the DIS!:welcome:

I will try to answer some of your questions.

Buses begin running well before the parks open. You should always allow about 45-60 minutes from door to door when using WDW transportation. That includes the time it will take you to leave your room, walk to the bus stop, wait for the bus, board the bus, make other scheduled stops on the bus, drive to the theme park, arrive at the theme park, walk from the bus stop to the entrance plaza, go through security, and go through the turnstile and into the park.

It may take you less than 45-60 minutes, but that will have you covered.

When you get to the bus depot at Pop you will see signs...there are separate buses for each theme park, so make sure you get in the (clearly marked) line for where you want to go.

The first couple of weeks of July are the busiest time of the very busy summer season, so I think all the parks will be quite busy on July 9, no matter which one you choose.

Here are links to some very helpful websites since you are a Disney newbie! Enjoy your trip!

I also forgot to mention regarding your son that there is a great resource here on the DIS where you might find more detailed answers. It is called the DIS-abilities board:

I'm sure if you post any autism-related questions there you will find many people who can help you.
