A&E Stampede this morning was insane!!!

Agreed. But part of me thinks Disney wants photos of Fantasyland with crowds from A/E bumping up against crowds from the Mine Train to compete with the crowd photos US will put out when the new Harry Potter attractions open.

Ah good point like those pictures from when Wizarding World opened

The funny thing is that this picture is nowhere close to the entrance to IOA much less WWoHP. I hope that Uni has good plans to handle such a crush at the other park.

That however did die down after a while. How long will it take this craziness about A&E to die down?

Only 120 min wait right now which is lower than ever.

I have never heard of the wait for ANYTHING being FIVE HOURS LONG - SpaceMtn, RnR, or even TSMM.

Does happen, usually on New Years Eve. I remember seeing reports that Test Track had a 5 hour wait last New Years Eve.

I do want to see what happens to A&E after the week after Easter crowds dwindle a bit.

I don't think they want that.

Those photos from the opening of the WWoHP turned me off from visiting for a long time. I think we wait for 15 months. The memories of those photos make use say, "No Way!" to visiting Diagon Alley for the next year or two.

Eeeeek!

I am a Harry Potter fanatic and can't wait to go to Diagon Alley. But I'll have my two children with me (DD4 and DS2) and they are my top priority. If IOA has queues like that this summer then, as much as it pains me to say, we won't be going.

Though, having said that, I may go late in the evening before closing to have a look around.

And that would also help A&E if people were able to see them right up to park closing, as it would lessen the panicked rush at RD.

But when you can't get a FP+ and your child still really wants to see A&E or ride TSMM, then you have to do RD and run.
You can also say: "Sorry, we aren't going to do that."

How do people get away with running to the attractions? I was "fast" walking/light jogging to sign my son up at Jedi Training and I got yelled at by a CM.

Some people aren't deterred by being yelled at.

Just like some aren't deterred by things like speed limits, stop signs, and laws prohibiting texting and driving.

A lot of people with "me first" attitudes think that rules are only for the other saps.

Or words like "non-transferable". :)
