Yes a dream is a wish your heart makes. What is your wish? My wish is to go back to Disney and do the trip MY WAY!!!


Well, I guess I dreamed about going back to Disney enough that it's coming true for me! YES, This time I get to make the plans!
Now this is my first PTR!! So bare with me!! I will get to my True PTR on the second page. Im trying my best with this PTR, Looking at others and Im ammazed at the creativity. But this is my first one so if anyone has any suggestion or tips to help me!!! PLEASE BY ALL MEANS HELP ME!!!!! SOOOOOO, Lets meet the FAMILY!! We are the Sulhoff's, and very loving and fun family! I have 3 wonderful Kids and a handsome loving Husband who means the world to me! He is my Prince Charming and has been for 17 years now. (only married for 14 of the 17)! I thank the LORD everyday that He bless me with a princess at a young age and kept the Frogs away!

So let me share some Photos of my family!

My oldest in the picture aboved was Pre high school Bieber style! He is now ROTC military cut looking like a young man!

Now onto the PTR from ages ago This story is more to inform you of that fact I was
1. Rushed thru my Magical moment
2. Vacationing with family that are not all there in the head is not a good idea!

Even thou I don't recall the whole trip I do recall the good parts! I mean the crazy parts! First trip to Disney not sooo GOOD! However, I got to meet mickey so what else matters! No matter how much of an butt my BIL can be he was not detouring me and my quest to meet the MOUSE!!

Well well Here we go onto my memory of My first trip to WDW or was it a dream.....

I only been to Disney once before in my life I got to live out my childhood dream back in 2005. The moment I saw the Castle I knew I was living a dream!
Yes, I cried!!!

But let me go back to the beginning of the trip of a lifetime! Atleast the memories that will last a lifetime! The first thing I remember was we arrived at BWI to catch our plane, Never knew how painful dragging 2 kids thru the airport can be! We did arrive quite early so we got some breakfast in the concourse while we wait! Ok so who eats at the airport! Gross! While barely eating The flight attendant announce over the intercom where our gate was at, that they had 2 first-class upgrade available for $50 each.I was about to say to Chad to go up and get them and at that moment before she can finish that sentence I felt a gush of wind fly by me! Thinking to myself I know I didn't see my SIL run past me like she was in 50 ft meter mad dash! And behold my SIL with those 2 first class tickets! Leaving me, DH, my 2 DS in coach! She walked past with that look of thank you dear lord I'm saved from coach! I quickly said to her you bum! Yeah you know something else's wanted to fly out of my mouth but there was kids around!
So while we were flying everything was going fine and the boys was loving the flight, then no sooner after we asked the kids how they were, the plane did the biggest dipped since I've been flying. My Dh and I looked at each other with the look of fear, but the boys had no clue and thought it was supposed to happen. As parents you have to play it off like was that fun!! all along you know you need to go to the bathroom to do a pants check yourself!
When we departed from the plane I notice my SIL with a big red stain on her shirt and pants and I asked " What the heck happen to your clothes". You know that saying about Karma! rotfl2:Yeah Karma came around and bit her on her butt very quickly! ALL HAIL THE KARMA LORDS! The stain was from when the plane did that big dip and when it hit that air pocket at that same moment she was drinking red wine. When the plan dipped it made that wine come out of her glass and wiggle like jello in the air and splash down onto her. I'm sorry but I could not help but to bust out laughing at what she told me what happen! She didn't find it funny! Well, I found much humor in her getting a taste of karma!!!!
So as we walk out of our concourse what did I see a huge DISNEY STORE! Place ever so perfectly in the airport. As soon as I laid eyes on the store, I heard Dana come in and buy, buy , buy ,buy!! So that what I did!! Didn't even get a chance to get out of the airport before I start spending $$$.hehehehe!!!

Well My BIL was already in Orlando, due to business so he picked us up!

First stop in Orlando, GHETTO Hotel 10 mins from Universal studio! Lets say as soon as we pulled up to the hotel and saw the crowed outside me and my SIL slap my BIL upside the head and ask what was he thinking!! I think this is where I decided that I'm not doing no more trips where he plans it out!! OH NO NO NO!! So we finally get into our room and we called up some family that lives around there. Later that night they met us for dinner! They took us to this seafood place, I wish I could remember the name of the place! Cause I want to say STAY AWAY!!! I got crab cakes it was more like eating stuffing with tiny bit of crab meat! ICK!

So we got back headed to bed , du to the long day ahead of us! First stop Universal Studios! Well, thats what I thought was the first stop1 Didn't know wee had a detoure to make! ANYHOOT, Back to the HOTEL!
This hotel was a hotel from HELL!!! There was a train that came Thu every 1 hr! Got to a point in the middle of the night , my DH would say 5 ,4,3,2,1, then you hear train sounds!! What could you do but laugh!! In the morning we met my BIL and SIL downstairs and my BIL looks at me and said how was your sleep! OH BOY, He needs a good old whooping right about now! I had bags under my eyes and I was only in my 20's no bags should of been there! Come to find out this was a free night stay! Why you ask! HA let me tell you why! He signed up for some timeshare tour to get free tickets to US! this is a good time to tell you all HE IS A MILLIONAIRE!!!!!! No need to take some stupid tour for free tickets!
so we get to this place for him and my SIL to do this timeshare bit and Chad my DH and I said we were not staying! We wanted Starbucks, and Target, also needed a post office to mail something off! Well 30 mins later we only got the post office trip done, so we decided to go back to the place and ask them if they wanted Starbucks! when we get to the place where they were doing the timeshare scheme, We walked in to ask if they wanted coffee! The lady who was giving her sale pitch asked if we were with them. I said yeah we were with them but NOT WITH THEM!! She then said that if we were traveling with them we had to stay for the sale pitch as well! OH THAT set me off, Don't tell me what I have to do! And she did this PRE STARBUCK!!. The claws came out at that moment. My response was EXCUSE ME YOU DONT KNOW ME AND DONT TELL ME WHAT I HAVE TO DO! IM NOT A PART OF THIS STUPID TIMESHARE CRAP!
I walked out telling her a few more thing on where she can stick her timeshare at!! One thing I do like is someone telling me I have to sit thru a sales pitch. I don't have to do nothing I know my rights! Yes I did go ghetto on her! I could not help it I didn't have COFFEE in me!!!
Anyhoot! I love that word!
So DH and I went to target and what did I see!!! DISNEY SECTION in Target! Oh come to momma!!! I got a cart and started to load it up!! Felt like I was on a game show on how fast can you fit everything in your cart!!! hehehehehe!!! My hubby was happy that we could only make a one stop cause it had a Starbucks in it! Thank heaven for STARBUCK! so we got our stuff that was needed and more that was not needed! and on our way back to pick up KNUCKLE HEAD BIL, SIL and the kids! Oh yeah forgot to mention we left him with my 2 boys and he had his boy. He told them be on your worst behavior and he'll buy them whatever they wanted so he could get out early!! They spoiled his plans for the rude misbehaving kids lets leave early plan! They had a kid zone!! HAHA!!


Oh here's the good part!!

We pull up to the place, and there was 3 cop cars out front! I jokingly said how funny would it be if they were there for Curtis (BIL) at that moment while me and DH was poking fun, the kids come running out yelling UNCLE CURTIS IS GOING CRAZY!! I was what! My oldest Brent said Uncle Curtis is going crazy and jump on the table and started to scream " This place is a fraud don't buy nothing from these ppl". So I get inside and my SIL said that Curtis had his alarm set on his phone and it went off at that 90 mins mark , he got up said you had your 90 mins I don't want to buy anything give me my tickets! The lady told my BIL " IM not done with you" Curtis said " Oh yes, yes you are"! the lady then said the one thing she should of not said to him!!!! She said " NO, I'm not done, I say when I'm done, If I want to keep you here all day I will, you are not getting your tickets until I say so"!!! that when My BIL jump on the table and yelled it out for every couple there to hear!!! the cops told that manager that my BIL fulfilled his end of the deal and they need to give him his tickets so we can leave!

so far trains, nasty sales lady and cops!! WHAT MORE!!!!

Finally after half of a day wasted we arrived at US! Me I Just wanted a drink! My nerves was shot by this time!

That Back to the future ride made me SICK!! Hated that ride! came out puking in the trash can right outside the door!

I know no Disney But was a must do on the BIL list of things to do!!! Reminder don't ever let someone else dictate your trip! Or else your going to regret it!


US was fun! the boys had a blast! Me and Disney is compared to my hubby and XMEN!! I wish I would of capture my DH face when he saw his kids get to meet the XMEN! Yeah and DH laughs at me for crying to a Disney song!

I just realized that I didn't get many pics of us at Disney nor US!! Mostly Video!!

Well after we got done with US we headed to DISNEY!!! YAY! MICKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh that me getting giddy and excited for Mickey, not the kids!

We checked into POP and I was immediately drawn to the gift shop!!! Hey we went, the week of Thanksgiving! So I had Christmas shopping to do, At-least that's what I told the hubby! shhh, don't tell him!!!

Hey Mr and Mrs Potato Head is right outside our room! Well not to far away!

Having surgery on my mouth tomorrow to have yet another wisdom tooth pulled I have one more after this one! They do it one at a time cause I refuse to be put to sleep! Last time I was loopy for about a week!

Here are some picture of my first trip to Disney!

We awoken at 6:30 am to get ready to eat breakfast! I dont know what it is about eating breakfast on vaca! I dont eat before noon at home, but yet When I'm on vaca I have to eat a bug breakfast!!

After Breakfast, we headed of to MK!!!! I seeee the castle! Its so BIG!!!!! Oh heres the time for the tears to flow! Not now but at that monet they were flowing! The GOOF troop I was traveling with just didnt get it!


After we did our photo shoot in front of MY CASTLE! We headed to the jungle cruise. While in line for this ride a little 4 year old child had a meltdow MAJOR MELTDOWN! That mom for 10 mins was trying her best to calm the situation! I ws thinking to myself yeap remember those days! In the mist of all that I heard a voice that sounded like a certain person I knew! I heard" SHUT THAT KID UP HE"S RUINING MY MAGICAL MOMENT! Yeap It was my Oh so loving BIL with his witty comments! All I can say only you curtis only you!

That day We did a MK and Epcot bounce. We ened up back at MK cause of the extented hrs offer! Once we reached the space mountain my oldest son started to complain about his butt and inner thighs! Well Dh and Ds went into the bathroom to see what the problem was

VERDICT.......
CHAPPED BUTT!!!
I had no ointment for it, but wait I do have something that could help!

I took Brent in the bathroom and covered his behind and thighs with CHapped Stick!!!
to this day he is know as Chappedbutt!! poor kid!!

So day two we have hotel from hell, nasty sales lady, copss, me getting sick from the BTF ride and chapped butt kid! Whats next!!! Who knows!!! I do I do

So the next day we awaken to my son Brent feeling better and ready to tackle the day, chapped butt and all!! This is a very short trip and only had 2 days to spend at Disney! So day two we went to MGM now known as DHS!

So what do I remember about MGM! Oh yeah, My hubby and sons wanting to go on tower of terror!
Here is where I draw the line with rides! I DONT THINK SO!!!! Listen don't judge me! I hate elevators! I hate them when they are working right, you think I'm getting on one that is meant to act like its breaking! I DONT THINK SO AGAIN!!! You could not even pay me a million dollars to get on that ride!! Even if I was sitting on the ride with all my Favorite characters I wont get on that ride!
I think you get the point! BWAHAHAHA

Well, My DH and boys thought they were so funny calling me Chicken! My Dh said even your kids are getting on the ride you chicken! HAHA! Call me chicken all you want IM NOT GETTING ON!!
While They were in line I was in the shop looking at what I can buy and scrolled over to where they had the pictures at! Well I saw there picture and I laugh at it! Then around the corner comes my DH and the boys. My youngest was so scared and crying so hard he had a hard time trying to catch a breath! I felt so bad for him! Once he came around he said to me he was sorry for calling me a chicken and that he wish he would of stayed back!
I believe that one ride did my youngest son for the rest of the trip! But Brent my oldest wanted the Rock and roll ride!

The boy rode this ride 3 times in a row!! I was deserted at that ride! we only had 30 mins left till the parked closed!

So the next day we heading to the Airport and flew back to MD!
Like I said it was a very short trip!

Ever since Brooklynn was born I know I was going back to Disney! We originally planned on her 5th birthday! However I think this year is the perfect year to attend for us for sooo many reasons!


Reasons
1. Just because I want to go
2. Because I have no patience to wait!
3. My mom wants to go and she has had the roughest 2 past year of her life and she deserves to be at a place where dream do come true! MY and MY DH Treat! I do not want my mom to pay for anything!
4. My oldest is now 15 and I want to experience Disney with all of my kids while they are still kids!

So after talking it over with the hubby and getting him on board to put off our trip to California Napa Valley and San Fran until next year so we can do a big family trip this year!


We are going in Sept 4th - 9th
our first plans was to stay at SOG and do all of the food oop! but i keep going over and over the food budget and it drove me made like the mad hatter! I finally said oh forget it! I had papers after papers all over the place with numbers scribble all over them! a week later I called WDW and asked about their military discount with a dining plan! the guy Brian on the phone was very nice and friendly! And with his very persuasive voice I let him talk me into a deluxe dining plan! Got my price and thought that was not bad it was manageable!
When my hubby got home I gently broke it to him that I wanted to change from SOG to ASMusic! told him that the dining plan comes with the ALMusic and we can't get one for SOG! I inform him that this will just mean we prepaid for all of our food so we didn't have to worry about bring money for food! He quickly said to me " Do what you want". I was excited and started doing research on dining places and the reviews! came on here to see what people were saying was their favorite and taken into consideration what they served!
so I had a good 12 restaurants picked out and just had to figured out what time to makes these ADR!

Later that night I get back on looking at some more post on DIS and Read about tipping! I then went back to all the places I choose and did what an average bill would be for my family of 6! OUCH tipping was going to be a good $400 or more for the trip! So I'm now debating if I still want to do all TS!!
So the next day which was a sat I went to a ROTC event to help out and I was talking to one of the mothers and she inform me that the deluxe plan was just way too much food and we would be spending all day eating and not enjoying the parks! and that the dining plus would be our best bet!! So Later that day when I got home I jumped on the phone with Disney and change my plans from Deluxe to plus! hoping i made the right decision!!!

Later that week I learned something new about the water park plus addon to the tickets! Im adding that to the tickets but I wanted to stay extra days! So now we are going from SEPT 3rd - 10th.

As of now Im not changing anymore plans! what I have it what it will be!

I see lot of people talking about doing a special welcoming celebration in the room! But Im in no way paying $300+ for that when I can do it myself
And that s what Im in the process of doing now! Im trying to get things here and there for the kids! I can do my own inroom celebration!
