A Dream Come True - 2/6/11 4-day Bahama Cruise

Sarah-I read somewhere that Flordia Town Car was good for larger parties maybe you should give them a try. I am sure you can google it..:)

You know what they say about assuming....;)

No, I kid. Thank you for the suggestion!!

Beth, you too!

I'll sort something else and I'm only going to spend so much brain power on it.

I'm, apparently, spending most of the brainpower on airfare. We do have flexible schedules SO:
-we'd rather fly Delta. Delta is running about $300 a person (yikes!), no matter the time of day.
-AirTran, in our preferred time of day, is slightly cheaper but we'd have bag fees.
-AirTran at our non-preferred time of the day is $70 more, for two tickets total, than one on Delta. But that was yesterday. And we'd have to take the whole day off. *shrug*

Wow - I should have held off a year and got those suckers on SALE!
:rotfl:

Remind me to take a pic of mine! He is sprawled out on a couch, bags packed, and the sun hits him through the sky light for about 2 hours a day!

Lucky guy!pirate:

Oh gosh! Airfare. I spent a lot of time with Airfare 1st thing when I started the process of planning this trip. This cruise is the last part of our trip which is coming from Vegas and CA and I booked Airtran. They have changed our flight from LAX to MCO 6 times already! :headache:

I'm lucky that we're in driving distance so we don't have to worry about the airfare. I feel for you all that have do deal with the flight changes.

5 more days of this vacation then I can start getting excited for the cruise! Woo!

Beth-Sorry that your plans got changed b/c of work!

I'm not really sorry because it's a project I wanted but didn't think would come through. I'll be making a new film about the economic history of the city I live in and how it has affected development and how we arrived at our current state. This will be the biggest film project I've done so far. I've made two previously, and am starting the third one this week. It's the fun part of my job. It makes being an accountant not quite so dull!

I'll still be taking my vacation, just a week later than I thought. It worked out well, though, because we saved money on the airfare, and Jim will actually have almost enough vacation time to cover the whole trip. He's almost always short a couple of days, and has to take them without pay.

My opinion on the matter is that it's always time to go on a cruise, especially a Disney cruise. The sad fact of the matter is that I can't always AFFORD to go on that cruise, and I seem to have a bit of a problem scheduling vacation time these days!

So yes, it's time to go--just not time for US to go (yet)!

Now, boys, you all play nice. I'd much rather see you kill each other on board so that I can watch and take pictures!:rotfl2:

I have a CT scan tonight. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it shows full healing of the bone so that I can, uh, have surgery ASAP! I want this damned plate out of my leg prior to our CRUISE!

Look here Bean Brain If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you.

First - "If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you."
MY LINe - Get your own Stuff.

Second - Bite me! :flower3:

I guess you could be OLD enough for you to be the original person to say it.

I'll keep my fingers crossed along with yours...but not my legs...my husband likes easy access. (:scared1:)

Much more fun to watch these gents in person, but I vote for mud wrestling.

But mud is good for the skin... And you need all the help you can get.:confused3

Ha!!! Thanks! The CT scan was easy so now I just need to wait to hear from my surgeon. I sent him an email 15 minutes ago - no reply, yet! What the heck! (My last email to him was replied it in under 2 minutes - I almost didn't think that was possible) It took us half an hour to get to Radiology, from our house (drive, park, walk, take an elevator to the basement, walk longer), and it was 5 minute test. Much nicer than the hour and a half MRI I had a 3am back in March.

Much more fun to watch these gents in person, but I vote for mud wrestling.

Mud wrestling is good, but....
I rather it be raspberry mango Jello. :upsidedow
Make it lime Jello and I'll be there!

sarbah77--Glad the CT scan went well. Good luck with the results. You need to be in perfect shape for this cruise. It sounds like we're traveling with quite a bunch!
