No, we don't have corn dog bites, but we do have amazing, full size corn dogs. They are actually quite famous - they even have their own truck parked just off of Main St. I only have them once in a great while - they are quite unhealthy for me to consume on a regular basis. LOL!

We were heading down Main Street to leave and DS said -- I have to go over to Casey's (even though he knew it was closed) and he threw his hands up and yelled nnnnnoooooooooooo!!

When we got back to the Poly we stopped by the lounge for some snacks and then went up to the room, where we found this guy waiting for us on the bed!

And a few more surprises!

Those Poly CL mousekeepers are awesome!!

The kids wanted to go swimming one more time, so we got ready and headed out. We could see from our balcony that the quiet pool was not crowded at all, so that's where we headed!

We swam for a few hours I suppose. I took a little walk by our building and took some pics. When the boys were ready we gathered our stuff and headed out. But DS10 wanted one more trip down that volcano slide! So over to the volcano pool we went and he went down the slide once and then we went back up to the room.

It would seem I've missed a couple of updates???!! The DIS is not treating me kindly so I've, um, been.... stepping out on it, shall we say???

The pictures by the statues are so adorable. I loved the one of your DH--- he's so goofy.

And DS10- his personality is so 180 degrees from DS12-- I love to see him laughing and playing along too.

And of course the Ham of the group-- DS12---- The CM at Casey's was looking at him like he thought he was great. Maybe he has a future in entertainment there?????? (We can go see him after lunches on Wednesdays!!)

Now--- the latest update--- what a relaxing afternoon. I wish I could jump right into that picture with the Volcano Slide! Niiiiiiiiiiiiice!

And let me tell you--- I'm pretty sure that was the HOTTEST DAY of our entire trip. We were in Gainesville trying to Tailgate before the game and M kept making me get in the car with the girls with the AC running b/c it was so dang hot.




Cool Towel Animals too!!!!!! The CM's in the Hawaii building were really having a fun time this trip!

I know, I thought it was just me but between the DIS and Photobucket both being so slow lately it is making it hard for me to finish up writing my updates.

Oh yes, DS12 definitely could be a performer in WDW someday!! Wouldn't that be so awesome to have him so close to our retirement homes?!

I wish I could jump into that picture too!! Have I mentioned lately that I hate winter???

I don't remember it being that hot that day, but I'm sure it was. We just got in and out of MK before it got too hot and then spent the hottest part of the day by the pool.

Since u have been there since the closures does it take away from the "Magic"? My DH told me that he would send me and DD in May or June so i'm looking but a lil worried about all the closures....

The mess at MK does kind of take away from the magic, but it certainly doesn't ruin the trip or anything like that. But with that said, my kids are older than your DD and we wouldn't normally spend a ton of time in Fantasyland & Toontown anyway. So you might notice it more than us.

I hope you and your DD get to go in May or June!!

Hello! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I just thought I'd sneak in a Sunday post since I'm not doing much at the moment. And it's not really too much of an update -- just pics of our self made photo-shoot!





After we were done with our afternoon swim we went back up to the room and got showered and changed. Before we left for vacation I looked into getting a photo-shoot done at the Poly. I really wanted some new family pics because we hadn't had any taken since like 2006 or something. But the photo-shoot was some crazy ridiculous price for a 20 minute shoot. So, I decided that we were just going to do our own!!

Of course none of the rest of the family were too thrilled with the whole idea to begin with! But I very nicely explained to them that I had worked very hard planning this vacation to make sure that each of them got to do and see everything they wanted, and we stayed at 2 fabulous resorts, and I made plenty of time for shopping, swimming, and relaxing. So they were going to do this for me, with no whining!!!

So outside we headed! And for the most part things went very smoothly. Other than trying to get a picture of the boys together on a hammock, they weren't very cooperative with that one. I heard a lot of -- he's touching me, he's squishing me, blah blah blah for that one... But most of the pictures turned out very well I think. There are some that aren't super great because of lighting and things like that. So they aren't professional by any means, but we still got some great shots!
