Day 10: Monday, June 29
Well..the day that I have been dreading has come. The day before our last full day. I hate it with a passion. I hate it almost as much as I hate the day we leave. And as you will see, we get sad, and then we dont take as many pictures. So..today you wont see very many pictures! Sorry guys!
We woke up at 9 AGAIN. By now, you wouldve guessed that. LOL. We got ready and sat out on the balcony for awhile. When we were ready to go, we realized that we hadnt eaten anything! So we decided well eat first thing at the park. So we headed down to the bus stop. While we were waiting for the bus, I was looking at the newspaper and we were shocked to read the cover
Billy Mays had passed away! Thats the third celebrity to die on this trip! So sad. I texted
xoktenox about it and she said she was shocked too!
Not too long after that, a bus came! We got on and discussed our game plan for when we got there. So when we made it into the park, Mom went a separate way than the rest of us. She headed to ToT to get us fast passes since its our last time at DHS. The return time was for 2-3 p.m. which worked out perfect. While she did that, the rest of us headed to Backlot Express to get a head start ordering and finding a table. B/F and I found a nice table outside and close to the door, so when Mom made it over there, she found us right away. I had the Southwest Salad and a parfait, B/F had the turkey sandwich and fruit, Mom had the chicken and a parfait, Sis had the veggie sandwich and cheesecake, and Dad had a burger and fries.
After we were done eating, we headed to the American Idol Experience since the next show was starting at 1, which was in about 20 minutes. It worked out perfect. Yes, we went to AI again. LOL. Im addicted to it now, cant you tell?! Poor B/F will have to suck it up through it over Spring Break since were going just the two of us. HAHA.
After we got out, we headed over to the head statues and looked around at them. It was neat because weve never really taken the time to do that. We took some pics:

By the time we were done hanging around there, it was time to use our ToT fast passes! Luckily, it didnt break down on us while we were in line! When we got off, we turned around as we walked out of the gift shop and said BYE ToT! See you next year! And I started getting teary-eyed.
We met back up with Dad and headed to the exit. We were heading back to OKW to swim one last time. When we got to our room, we waited a bit because it looked like it was going to rain or storm. But, luckily it didnt! We made it over to our quiet pool around 3:45 and swam until 5! This was fine with us, because tonight was relaxing night!
We headed back to the room and got ready, then we headed to the bus stop. We got on the first one that came because we were getting off at the Hospitality House.

When we made it up there, we checked in for our 6 p.m. ADR at Olivias. We were seated right away! It had been a few years since we had eaten at Olivias and now it was fun to eat there because we were staying at OKW. I of course asked for the fruit punch so I could FINALLY get my Tink light up thing that clips onto the straw. She explained to us that it would be extra for getting that drink, but Mom and Dad said they didnt care. I also had the mozzarella and tomato salad, the penne pasta, and chocolate cake. B/F had the pork chop and cheesecake. Mom and Sis both had the penne pasta and cheesecake. Dad had the NY Strip and cheesecake. Geeze, I just realized that I was the only one who didnt order cheesecake! HA!
After we were done eating, we decided to take one last boat ride. So, we headed down to the boat dock and rode over to DTD. Of course, the balloon was closed. But, we just walked around for a bit.

After awhile, we decided to catch a boat back to OKW.

When we got back to the Hospitality House, we walked back to the room. We had to take some pics of the OKW street signs along the way. They are also the names of some of the OKW bus stops, which we always hear on the bus.:
Ugh! Im not ready to go home! I start getting really sad at this point. How the heck could our vacation almost be over already?! Life is so perfect when were here.
When we got back to the room, Mom, Dad, and Sis decided to start packing. B/F and I decided we were going to go back down to the pool. While we were swimming, we ended up being able to hear Illuminations going off! After that was done, we headed back to the room. We found a new movie was starting on Lifetime, 8 Days to Live, so we watched that before going to bed.
