A Dis meet, loopy luau, and 1900 PF fight all on our June trip~plus more!'10 PTR link

We hit Flower and Garden in 2007 and it was beautiful! You're going to love it. Try to hit Tinker Belle's Garden, we missed it and I'm so sorry we did.

I'm so excited. I will for sure go see Tinkerbell!

Lucky you! You don't have to fight the mad rush this time at the 90 day mark!!

I'm happy! I just hope I get all the places we want.

Ohhh ..you will like the Flower and Garden Festival.. its beautiful. and the topiaries are amazing.

Nice food choices. and YAY on the change on dining reservations.

I'm so excited to see it!

I hope we'll get all those ADRS!

We're going to be there during Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival!

Very nice!
I doubt I will get to go this year, as much as I know I will be longing to. I just don't see how I would be able to afford it with the October and December trips this year and then another long summer trip next year. You will have to take lots of awesome pictures for me!

Aw...okay..I was looking forward to maybe seeing you at WDW! It's alright though..I understand. Trips are expensive!

I will definately take tons of pics. I've already been trying to think of what my PTR title should be.

Good choices for restaurants and being there during F&GF is awesome as it looks so cool, esp at the front of Epcot with the princesses and their princes. You must take lots and lots of pics :)

F&G is awesome! I know you will love it; there are oodles of great photo opps. all around! Love your dining choices too! Hope you get some super duper pixie dust when you call!

I love the Flower and Garden Festival. It's so neat seeing all the topiaries and stuff. We've got a reservation for April so hopefully we'll still be able to go and be there for the festival too!

Yay for you being able to go back to disney! How special that will be to go alone with your DBF!!

and I also hate that 2nd to last day... it's just there, saying hurry up, do all you can.. soak me in..

I haven't been to WDW in March in a long time, so I'm excited to see how the weather is. When we used to go in March, it was chilly at night and I'd wear jeans and a sweatshirt!

Oh that sounds like a good time to go!! Especially with the F&GF!!

And I want very detailed reviews of those restaurants because I haven't been to any of them but they all sound delightful!!

It is very exciting to be able to go just the two of us!

Oh my gosh, I will! I've already been to Kona (for dinner), Yak and Yeti, and Mama Melrose so the Brown Derby, Big River Grille, and The Wave are all new to us!

Man, I hate the last days of vacation. It's all just so depressing. :sad1:

Buuuuuuuut! March will be here before you know it and you'll be back in Disney!! :goodvibes

We've been in March the last 2 years. You might hit 2 days of chilly then it heats back up. But you can also hit a few days of HOT! You usually need a light jacket or sweatshirt once the sun goes down. But it is a beautiful time of year to be in WDW. (is there any time that isn't?:rotfl:)

I know..boo!

March doesn't seem so far away! And then I'll be going back 3 months after that in June!

I definately sense that I will be overpacking. :rotfl2: I have to pack all those "just in case" things. Like shorts..jeans..sweatshirts..I'm a girl, what can you expect?!

:woohoo::yay: Congrats on booking another trip!!! Your dining choices sound yummy! I have to keep the whole 180 thing in mind now. We did a bounceback for next Summer. I might change those dates around. Not sure. When we renewed our AP's we got three extra months so that opened up three extra months. We've always wanted to try out the food and wine thing. That's something we've never seen at Epcot. If you get up 8 people make sure you do the Grand Gatherings! I can't wait to get to those days. We had so much fun.

I don't post all the time but I'm still reading along with you!

Our last day: Tuesday, June 30

We woke up at 9 a.m. again. I opened my eyes and realized what today was. Our last day waking up and getting ready to go to a park. And when you realize that, getting up doesn’t seem that exciting anymore. HA. We were planning on going to AK to ride EE one last time before going over to the MK, but it started pouring, so we just decided to head to the MK for the whole day like we usually do. We headed down to the bus stop…

Outside our room..as you can tell, this is my fake smile because I was REALLY sad and trying not to cry LOL:

432.jpg

We made it over to the MK around 11:

It was pouring and looked like it wasn’t going to let up anytime soon! We decided to take our time looking in all the shops on the right of Main Street. We first went in that shop where they put your name on the back of Mickey ears. That was neat to watch! I also found the phone that I have read about on the DIS and in books. If you pick it up and listen, you can hear a conversation going on!:

436.jpg

We made our way through the shops..and outside one of them, I turned to the right and went into the little alley area they have there and found the Voice lessons window and sure enough, you can hear someone having a lesson if you listen closely!

When we made it to the end of Main Street, we headed over to PoTC, which was only a 10 minute wait! We thought for sure it would be long because of the rain! As we got off the ride and went up the ramp into the gift shop, I started getting sad again. I put such a damper on things don’t I?! LOL

By this time, we were getting hungry so we headed over to Pinnochio’s to eat lunch. It was so packed in there that people were sitting along the walls, eating with their trays on their laps! We decided to skip it and went over to Cosmic Ray’s instead. Yes, it was busy too, but we ended up finding a seat right away! Sis, Dad, and I had the pork sandwich, Mom had the chilli dog, and B/F had the turkey wrap. I told Mom her chilli dog stunk and reminded me of Stitch’s Great Escape. HA!

After we were done eating, we decided to go over to Liberty Square and ride the Liberty Belle. We had just missed it, so we sat there and waited 20 minutes for it to get back. As it pulled up to the dock, I spotted where I wanted us to go. I told everyone to follow me once they started letting people on. Sure enough, we made it there! Yay! B/F of course had to go down and look at the engine.:

On our way out, we took a pic of the engine for B/F:

***CONTINUED***

We headed over to the HM next, which was a 35 minute wait. I know I’ve probably said this before, but they really need to fix that part of the line when you get out of the stretching room. It’s seriously people herding in and it’s so hard to stay together with your group! And little ol’ me always gets stepped on!

After the HM, we decided to use our free fast passes that we got from being next in line on BTMRR the other night when we broke down..only we decided to use it on PP since that line is always ridiculous and we wanted to ride PP one last time before leaving:

452.jpg

I was secretly hoping we’d get stuck on it, so I could enjoy it just a little bit longer, but no such luck. After we said bye to Peter, Tink, Wendy, and the boys, oh and Tiger Lily, we headed across to IASW. The line was all the way outside and weaving! We actually waited 15 minutes! That’s hardly ever happened to us before!

Standing in line outside:

Eventually, we made it on:

My favorite scene:

I always think of the Poly in this one:

465.jpg

Ahh..the Cowboy and Indian..I love these guys:

470.jpg

As we say at the Luau, ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHA!:

473.jpg

Then, we headed over to Snow White, which was a 15 minute wait:

476.jpg

477.jpg

478.jpg

We got stuck right here..All the lights came on and the witch looked freaky:

482.jpg

We said bye to Snow White and headed over to Pooh, which was a 40 minute wait. We didn’t care, it was our last day!:

483.jpg

484.jpg

We said “Bye Pooh Bear!” and headed into Tomorrowland. We got in line for Buzz, which said it was a 30 minute wait, but it ended up being longer! Because just as our luck would be…a whole huge group of flag people show up in the fast pass return line. Their group was seriously so huge they went from the loading dock all the way through the line and out the door! It was horrible! After they finally quit coming, our line started back up again! UGH!

***CONTINUED***

After we said bye to Buzz, it was already time to head to our 6:30 ADR at Tony’s! We headed down Main Street and it hit me, AGAIN, we’re going to Tony’s..which means it’s our last night. Because as most of you that know me, we always eat at Tony’s our last night. I turned around and looked at the Castle as we turned to head left. I wasn’t looking forward to saying bye yet.

While we were waiting for our name to be called, Mom and I bought another album that matches the one that we already got because….we had taken too many pictures to fit the first one! LOL!

Then, our name was called and we were seated not too far from the entrance. While we were eating, we talked about how surprised we were at how much we had gotten done that day! Mom and I had the spaghetti, Dad and B/F had the NY strip, and Sis had the shrimp scampi. I can’t remember what everyone else had for dessert, but here’s a pic of my Tiramisu:

485.jpg

It was YUMMY! I just didn’t want to mess up my pretty plate, LOL.

After we were done eating and had to be rolled out of the restaurant, HA, we headed over to BTMRR because it had stopped raining. It was a 40 minute wait, but it was worth it because we got the very back! YES! The best seat on that ride! When we got off, we found the Hidden Tink in the rock:

486.jpg

Then, we said good-bye to BTMRR, Splash, and Frontierland. See you next year…

We headed over to ride PoTC for our last ride of the night. It was a walk on!

490.jpg

As we exited, I took a pic for you guys of the new Pirates stage where Capt. Jack Sparrow does his show:

492.jpg

We said good-bye to Pirates and Adventureland as we headed to Fantasyland. We hadn’t gotten our ice cream yet this trip! We headed to Mrs. Potts’:

493.jpg

We found a table towards Pooh’s play place and not too far from the ride:

494.jpg

And we ate…and looked around…and we were sad…and I cried…

When we were done, we got up and threw away our stuff, and headed through the Castle. I turned around and got one last good look at Fantasyland before I started crying again. I’m such an emotional girl. As most of you who know me also know, when my parents took me to WDW for the first time when I was 3, they said that they never saw a little girl cry as hard as I did when we had to leave. I told them that I wanted us to live there forever. I still do.

We got to the end of Main Street and I couldn’t even turn around to look at the Castle one more time. It was too hard. Mom and Dad kept telling me, “Don’t worry, we’ll be back next year!” Little did I know…I’d be going back much sooner!

We got in line for our bus…and it came…and I sighed..We found some seats and I watched the MK disappear out of sight. It really is the most magical place of all. And I can’t wait for next year when I can take my little guy there and see his reaction to everything for his first time. It will be one of the best feelings in the world.

~Up next: Leaving WDW and back to the real world

Hey girl! I've been MIA on everyone's TR's but I'm back now :goodvibes even though I've been talking to you on the phone LOL

Great pictures from the Liberty Bell! I love the ones of the Haunted Mansion. :thumbsup2

A chili dog from Cosmic Rays sounds yummy!

I know the feeling when you leave and you just start to cry. I never want to leave WDW either. Definitely sad and puts a little damper on the day :guilty:

Now you know you'll be back at the MK sooner than you thought! :woohoo:

I was so sad reading your last update - I felt like I was reliving your last day with you and that is the worst! I did laugh when you said your mom's chili dog reminded you of Stitch though, LOL!

My sister and her family just booked a trip to Disney and they're going a few days after we go. I want to go with them so bad to see the kids faces when they get there so I know how excited you must be to see your little guys reaction.

I'm SO glad you are going back sooner than you thought and you can make your ADR's soon!!! Looks like you've picked some good choices!

PS GET A FACEBOOK!!

I dread the last day. It's so hard to say good bye. All in all you had a good last day. I love the pictures from the Belle. I've never ridden it but it's on my list for next time.

I'm so glad you have another trip to look forward too.

Wow! You guys DID get a lot done on your last day. I got sad reading that you were sad. I think that we all dread that last day and it is hard to not let it spoil the enjoyment of the day. I love that your family has all of those traditions that you do on your last day. It's very sweet.

I can't wait to read your TR when you take your little guy. You are going to have so much fun!
