A Dis meet, loopy luau, and 1900 PF fight all on our June trip~plus more!'10 PTR link

Nope. We had Crystal Palace, Teppan Edo, Tusker House, Cape May, and Whispering Canyon. All were good. Crystal Palace and Cape May were my top two favorites.

I remember reading when you were at Teppan Edo. I tried picturing you guys there! :)

lol thats so funny that he asked what if he just blows up a pic of the castle. :lmao: boys!! i'll have to read all your future tr's so i don't miss it when it happens!

Day 7: Friday, June 26 *continued*

We left off leaving OKW and heading on a bus over to the MK for the night. We were definitely going through MK withdrawals since this was our first time back there since our first day! Now for those of you who know me, know that had to be hard because the MK is my favorite park!

I knew fast passes for Peter Pan would be late, which would work out perfectly because our CRT ADR wasn’t until 7:10 p.m., so we headed there first.

On the way:

303.jpg

The fast pass return time was 9:50-10:50…perfect! That’s the only way we’ll ride PP now because the line is always ridiculously long! And just when you think you’re about to turn the corner and start heading the other way, you see that you still have a ways to go. Ugh. Plus, there’s not very much room in that line for space. So fast passes are our best friend with that ride.

We headed towards Liberty Square and rode the Haunted Mansion since it was only a 25 minute wait! What the heck?! Are we really here in June?! The longest part of the line was getting out of the stretching room and trying to stay together while being pushed with the herd. We usually give up trying and I just stick with B/F and Mom, Dad, and Sis stick together.

After we got off the HM, we headed over to Frontierland Station to ride the train over to Toontown. Yes, it would’ve been probably faster to walk, but we love the train so gosh darn much! :

304.jpg

On the ride to Toontown, I had to sing along with Pocahontas, which annoyed Sis, so I threw in some dance moves to go along with it. To make her even more annoyed, Mom joined me. HAHA. When we got off at the Toontown Station, we headed for the Tent to see just how long the line was to meet Tinkerbell. It was 60 minutes, so we decided to skip it and check another time.

We headed out of Toontown and towards Tomorrowland. It was still weird not hearing the People Mover going over us and seeing no one heading towards Space Mountain. We decided to do another favorite of ours, the CoP:

305.jpg

The funny thing is, we didn’t know what the CoP was until a few trips ago. We just had never gone in it! The trip that we did it for the first time, we ended up going on it about a million times. The song was always stuck in our heads and we knew each scene, word for word. HAHA. I really would like them to update the last scene though and make it more up to date or futuristic!

After CoP, we headed over to Buzz, which was only a 30 minute wait…or so we thought it would be!:

306.jpg

While we were in line, Mom and Dad started asking me what they have to eat at CRT, and I couldn’t remember what I had read for the life of me! I obviously wasn’t near a computer, so I did the next best thing and asked xoktenox to look for me! HA. She, of course, was more than happy to do it and let us know what was all on the menu. So we spent the rest of the line deciding what sounded good to eat. We got all the way up to the loading area and the ride stopped! The CM’s there were running back and forth trying to figure out the problem.

While we stood there, I heard Buzz say “To Infinity and Beyond!” about a million times, which made me miss my little guy even more! He loves to watch Toy Story now and Buzz is his favorite, so he loves to yell that out. He even told me, “Me be Buzz for Ha-whoa-ween and you be Woody.” So I said, “Well can I be Jessie since she’s a girl and so am I?” And he said, “No, Woody!” So now that’s the big joke that I have to be Woody for Halloween this year.

I was starting to get nervous that we were going to be stuck in line for a really long time and miss our CRT ADR, but thankfully it started back up. Of course, I lost..AGAIN. I’m not letting that happen the whole vacation though!

We decided to walk by Pooh and see when the fast pass return time was because we could get another fast pass! The return time was 7:50-8:50, which also worked out perfect! As our fast passes were coming out, we saw that another fast pass was coming out with them! We looked at them and it said that we had received surprise fast passes for PhilharMagic! Mom and Sis couldn’t do that one because it makes them motion sickness, but this one was fine for Dad?! How weird. So, Dad, B/F and I went to do that real quick before we checked in to CRT. We kept Mom and Sis’s surprise fast passes to put in our album when we got home.

I have to say that I hate it when people just stop in the middle of the row and don’t move all the way down. I gladly step over them and “accidently” step on their toes or something. *Okay, rant over!*

When we got out of the show, Mom and Sis were waiting for us in the gift shop. By this time, we could check-in, so we headed towards the Castle. I had been waiting for this moment since the day Dad called and made the reservation way back when.:

disney092002.jpg

We walked in and found the check-in desk:

307.jpg

And we were given this to give whoever seats us:

308.jpg

We went in the next room, which was where you get to meet Cinderella and then stand around, waiting for your name to be called. We got in line and I immediately found Jaq and Gus-Gus up towards the ceiling:

309.jpg

Eventually, it was our turn with Cinderella and they took our picture. She asked us where we were from and when we told her, she said, “Oh! Your horses must be very tired from such a long journey!” She was really nice! During our meal, they brought out the pictures and they were included with our meal! Sorry, but you won’t be seeing that one because it’s REALLY bad. Trust me. HAHA.

So after we met Cinderella, we headed over to the side of the room to wait. One family was called, so we took their bench. HA. For awhile, there was no one checking in and getting in line to meet Cinderella, so she just sat there all by herself. She kept in character though! Here, she was “fixing” her hair:

310.jpg

As we were waiting, a CM comes over the speakers and apologies that the wait is so long and says that they are having technical difficulties. Wow, aren’t we just lucky with that?! First Buzz and then this! We couldn’t figure out what technical difficulties there would be for this, anyone have any ideas? They weren’t lying because we ended up waiting quite a while. Finally, our name was called!

We headed up the winding staircase and saw this:

313.jpg

We went up a bit more and found ourselves looking over where we met Cinderella! Then, we went up a few more stairs and we were in the restaurant! It was so neat! I couldn’t stop saying, “We’re in the Castle! We’re in the Castle!”

I think this was the back of our menu:

314.jpg

Soon, the Fairy Godmother and the Mice came out:

315.jpg

We all had to sing Bibbity, Bobbity, Boo and count to three, then the lights started flashing and twinkling. It was neat. They just walked around while we sang and waved, but didn’t stop at any tables. Then, they came RIGHT behind B/F, me, and Sis to say good-bye to everyone:

316.jpg

We of course stopped eating our salad because the whole restaurant was looking our direction and taking pictures. HAHA.

Here’s the ceiling of the place:

317.jpg

And our view from the table:

318.jpg

Waiting for the main course:

319.jpg

I had the BLT salad and chicken, B/F had the Castle salad and pork chop, Sis had the BLT salad and pasta, Mom had the soup and steak, and Dad had the BLT salad and pork chop. Everyone was delicious!!

While we were eating, we notice that the CM’s are freaking out. We hear one of them say, “Sir, we have a guest on the balcony!” and he goes running. Come to find out, the little boy at the table next to us decided to go for a walk and ended up going outside on the balcony! The family didn’t even notice he was gone until the CM brought him back!

By the time we ate dessert (which I for some reason didn’t write down what we got), we were stuffed! Here’s Dad coming back from the bathroom before we left, HA:

Overall, CRT was a great meal and we really want to eat there again next year!

~Up next: MK evening EMH’s: Don’t look at it…Don’t look at it…Just keep walking!

What a fun day at MK! I can't beleive that kid went out on the balcony LOL! Crazy!!

Glad you enjoyed the castle dinner!!

I don't understand why the PP line is always so long! I mean, I love that ride but still! I'm glad all of your fastpasses worked out with your dinner reservations and you got the surprise ones - how cool! It's always sad when the people mover doesn't work - I notice it doesn't run all the time even when its not closed.

I love how you stepped on the ppl's toes when they don't move to the end - I HATEEEEE THAT TOO!

Your pics make me sad that we didn't eat at CRT this year!!

I never noticed Jaq and Gus up there!! So cool.

Can't wait for evening EMH--which we were at too! :goodvibes

Crt is my families FAVORITE meal! Looking at your pics just gave me butterflies! I seriously can not wait until our dinner there! We love it so much we are going 2x this trip!

I have never been on the CoP.. I wanted to but missed it last time. But that gives us something to look forward to. I suppose. I don't feel so bad because you have been going every year and for the longest time you didn't go there. hehe

I am horrible at Buzz.. I'm way better at Toy Story. hehe

I loved all your pics from Cinderella's Royal Table. I have never ate there. DH said I'm surprised you never made a reservation there before.. and the truth was that I thought it was just going to be like a regular restaurant and nothing special- I felt it was prob. popular because its the castle.. but after hearing about the stairs, and seeing the windows, and the characters.. and the yummy food. I'm disappointed I never gave it a try.. I am def!! doing in it on the future. I loved Gus-Gus.. I swear the small touches are the best. and the menu- ohh lala! :lmao:

Everyone: I'm sorry I haven't done an update lately. We are getting ready for a weekend trip to St. Louis! I promise, the start of next week will have a new update! :flower3:

We were in St Louis that weekend too! Was it for anything special or just because?

Yessss another update! I remember texting you when you were online for Buzz telling you to beat your B/F and represent for the girls LOL I know you gave it your all haha

I wonder what the technical difficulties at CRT were...weird? :confused3

I hope we get surprise FPs when we go in June! I've never gotten them before, so cool!

CRT sounds yummyyy and how cool to be eating IN the castle! One day I want to eat there too! :thumbsup2

We were at MK that night too! We actually had FP's for Buzz and when we got in line, that's when the ride had stopped! We got out of line because the CM kept telling everyone it would be a long wait and we should come back later. Or maybe we wanted to get spots for Spectro. I really don't remember, but it's all written down in my journal! :goodvibes

I remember reading when you were at Teppan Edo. I tried picturing you guys there! :)

Did you picture us late because we were waiting for Drew to get back from DTD where he had gone to buy swim trunks?

Brooklynn decided she really liked the "Buzz shooting stang' (Buzz shooting thing) this trip! She was big enough to try to do a little shooting on her own, so she thought that was fun.

We did Toontown rope drop to see Tink and friends. I think if you don't get there early the line stays pretty long all day. Not nearly as many people were lined up for the Princesses!

Good pictures of the castle. We've not eaten at CRT yet.

De-lurking to say that I'm loving your report! :thumbsup2 Your family is so cute!

I've never really considered CRT, because character meals aren't really my thing. But now you have me reconsidering for dinner! The character portion seemed pretty low-key. Maybe on my next trip...it would be so fun to actually be inside the castle!

What a fun day at MK! I can't beleive that kid went out on the balcony LOL! Crazy!!

Glad you enjoyed the castle dinner!!

I couldn't believe he went out there either!

I don't understand why the PP line is always so long! I mean, I love that ride but still! It was crazy how well we planned those fast passes!

Your pics make me sad that we didn't eat at CRT this year!!

I never noticed Jaq and Gus up there!! So cool.

Can't wait for evening EMH--which we were at too! :goodvibes

Aw, well when you do eat there, look for Jaq and Gus!

You were there too?! Maybe we were at something during the same time..

Crt is my families FAVORITE meal! Looking at your pics just gave me butterflies! I seriously can not wait until our dinner there! We love it so much we are going 2x this trip!

Oh my gosh, you must love it to go twice! It was a great meal and one of our favorites now!

I have never been on the CoP.. I wanted to but missed it last time. But that gives us something to look forward to. I suppose. I don't feel so bad because you have been going every year and for the longest time you didn't go there. hehe

LOL. Yeah don't feel so bad.

Toy Story Mania is SO much fun!

I love that they have Jaq and Gus-Gus up there too! It really makes it all that more "magical".

We were in St Louis that weekend too! Was it for anything special or just because?

You were?! How funny! We went to the Cardinal games Friday night and Saturday night. Friday during the day, we went to the Arch and ate at TGI Fridays. Saturday during the day, we went to the Zoo. Sunday before we went home, we went to Union Station and ate at the Hard Rock.

Yessss another update! I remember texting you when you were online for Buzz telling you to beat your B/F and represent for the girls LOL I know you gave it your all haha

I wonder what the technical difficulties at CRT were...weird? :confused3

LOL. I remember that convo too!

I'm still confused what the technical difficulties would've been at CRT. :confused3

I hope we get them too!

Oh you'll love CRT!

Haha, well maybe we walked right by each other!

Did you picture us late because we were waiting for Drew to get back from DTD where he had gone to buy swim trunks?

Oh gosh! Where did he buy swim trunks at? B/F bought some at the Team Mickey store!

Aw, go Brookie!

I think we will have to sacrifice and wake up one morning to do the rope drop!

You HAVE to try CRT sometime!

Well, I'm so glad you de-lurked yourself! Thanks for reading along.

You'd love CRT! The Fairy Godmother and the Mice don't even walk around to every table. They just walk around the restaurant while we sing that song and that's about it. It's really nice.

I"m glad you enjoyed your dinner at the Castle, It's one of my favs. !!

It was so good!

We have had lunch and breakfast in the castle...never dinner. Maybe we should try it one of these times?? I would love to fit another castle meal in out Dec trip, but don't think it will get in there :confused3! Anyway...looks like a good day at MK and nice pix at the Poly!

The inside of the castle is so pretty! The chairs look very comfy. I have never thought about eating in the castle before. I guess I always thought the food would be really fancy...not sure why I thought that.

What a great way to spend some time in MK! Sounds like you thoroughly enjoyed your meal, and the setting is so gorgeous!

Crazy how that kid wandered off onto the balcony! Could happen to anyone though, kids can be so quick, and you only have to take your eyes off of them for 2 seconds. With 5 of my own, I know!

Keep the updates coming!
