This was actually the video of the day on our early morning news show yesterday. Sooooo cute!!!!!! While we didn't have such a fancy entrance for the ceremony, we were introduced at the reception to the Tiger Fight Song. That was just a little surprise for hubby since he loves him some Tigers.

AK sounds like SO much fun - those guys sound hilarious! People you ride with can either make or break your ride experience for sure! Their photo sounds funny, too. I'm so jealous of your safari, although on one trip we saw the male and female lion nuzzling each other on the edge of the rocks, which was pretty neat.

OK I loved the AI experience!! it was weird when I went because this lady next to me was like omg you look like carrie underwood then people around us heard and were like omg you do! so it totally made my day lol actually my whole trip! we also went to the finale so im anxious to see how far the golden ticket winner makes it! PS I just spent a lot of money for AI tour tickets for the Pittsburgh show...my friend and I originally decided to go to that show bc it is not that far and you could find better tickets for cheaper than here. But then we saw front row tix that we HAD to have, so when I come back ill have to share my pics w/ya!!

OMG I cannot believe your TSM line!!!!!!!!!!!! My jaw dropped when I read that!

PS I love your Vera bag and your sisters coach bag! Also the hoodie you got looks awesome- Mousegears has the best stuff!!

Day 6: Thursday, June 25

We again woke up around 9 a.m..I’m seeing a trend in this. Haha. We got ready and while we were eating breakfast, we saw that the balloon was going up! We didn’t really have a set plan of what we wanted to do today, so we decided to head over there and try it…again. I texted xoktnox and told her to cross her fingers that we would be able to do it today. When we got to the bus stop, a DTD bus pulled up so we just got on that instead of getting off at the Hospitality House to get on the boat. Bad idea. We had to stop at Typhoon Lagoon first. Then, our driver was the slowest driver ever. Then, we hit every red light. Then, we had to drop people off at the Marketplace first. Then, we made it to the West Side bus stop! Finally!

We hurried over to the balloon and got in line:

Just as I sent xoktnox the text saying we were in line and getting ready to pay after the people in front of us, a CM comes over and tells us that they have to shut it down due to a storm about 45 minutes away and headed our way, he said they were going to hope to start back up in an hour or two. GRRRRR. After we got out of line, Mom said that I looked like I was ready to junk punch the guy or something. Hahaha. So we decided to stick around for awhile to see if anything changed.

We went back into LegoLand so B/F could ask a CM when this thing he wanted (I can’t remember right now what it was) was going to be in stock. She said that they wouldn’t be here for 3 weeks. Yeah, we don’t have that kind of time. Haha. Next ,we headed to the Art of Disney store and bought a print for the downstairs bathroom, which is a beach theme. It has five buckets sitting in the sand and the ocean in the background. Four of the buckets have one of the parks on it and the fifth one has the Disney Cruise Line on it. They are so cool. They have a few of the big attractions with each of the parks as well.

After we got our print, we headed to the area outside of the Christmas store to take our Christmas card pic. Here’s one farther away:

After we were done, we took pics for another family that was waiting. The dad was going to take the pic, but we offered to take it for them so he could be in it.

Then, we decided to head to the Margarita Stand and get drinks again. Haha. On the way, we stopped by this lady who was carving rings and Sis got a ring with her initials, a heart, then her B/F’s initials. The lady seriously made it in about 3 minutes:

Then it was onward for drinks! Haha. I sent xoktnox a pic of my drink and she laughed that we were there again. Okay, I must tell you that it was almost noon by this time!

As you can see, that storm still hasn’t gotten any closer. Yeah..I gave up on that balloon.

While we were sitting there, we decided that we were getting hungry. We were planning on going to AK for awhile, so I suggested we headed to AKL and look around, then eat at The Mara, which I have read great reviews about on the DIS. They all thought that sounded like a good plan, so to the bus stop we headed.

The cutest DTD ad we saw on the way out..Mom and Dad said it was me and Sis. Haha, I just realized you can see my reflection in the pic! Apparently, my face itched. HA:

We made our way to AKL, which is such a beautiful Resort. We are debating whether or not we should try AKV next year, or stay at OKW since we love it so much. What do you guys think?

Then headed outside to wind over to The Mara. We walked in and were amazed with the place. It had such a great menu, and the atmosphere was beautiful! Mom and Sis got the fried shrimp, Dad got chicken strips, I got the cheese flatbread, and B/F got the half chicken. Everything was so good; I recommend it to everyone!

But, there was a damper on our meal. We were at a table kind-of by the door in the back of the place. This family walks in and just leaves their maybe 2 year-old sleeping in his stroller at the table! The rest of the family had to walk to the other side of the place to order and they had no way of seeing him from that far. Someone could’ve easily just grabbed the stroller and ran out the door we were by! Every time the boy moved in his sleep, we were hoping he wouldn’t wake up. We didn’t want him to start freaking out that his family wasn’t there. So, the whole meal, we kept an eye on him until the family got back- which was forever. We were so mad. Poor little guy.

We made our way back up to the lobby and looked out this balcony that they have for DVC in the corner of the lobby. Then, we decided to head to the bus stop for AK. We had to wait FOREVER for a bus, which is kind-of odd since we were at AKL! We got bored:

I think I was sitting at work, being my normal bank teller self, giving people their money on boring Long Island and I get a text from you of an ice cold beer that you were drinking...meany!!

Hmmmm the Mara sounds sooo yummy! I can't waitttt to get to try it..only 4 months! After you see all the pictures I'm going to take you're definitely going to want to stay there next year, I just know it Thats so terrible that the family left the little boy! People are crazy!

I like the "HI" picture, they're too much and the speed hump is funny to me too Yes, I act like a child sometimes LOL

Although I love the looks of OKW, I say try something new if you are lucky enough to do so!! you can always go back to trusty OKW the next year if you hate AKV..which I do not think you will!

Oh no you didn't get on the balloon again!! I'm sorry! Oh I definitely think you should stay at AKL next year!! We stayed there one year before they had the DVC part and it was beautiful! It's actually probably my favorite resort!!

We are staying at Kidani when we go in Dec (for the end half of our stay). I love the speed hump pic...where is it?? My DH will think it's hilarious!!!!!! Have to get it!

finally caught up! i don't think i missed any updates. great stuff so far!

First, this lady was trying to get in line with her family..It’s EMH’s now, so you have to show the CM your room key to prove you’re a Resort guest. They evidently thought that only one person in the group has to have a room key to show them, which is wrong. So the mom and the kids were not being allowed in line because only the Dad had a room key. She started yelling hardcore at the CM, who called over another CM. She was being so mean and cussing and stuff and the CM’s did a great job of keeping their cool and explaining to her the rules. We had to go inside the building before we could see what happened. Evidently, they let her in line because we eventually saw her way behind us in line.

why do people insist on being morons?????? the first time ray and i did EMH was at MK and we only had 1 room key. so when we went to get our wrist bands they wouldn't give him one. but INSTEAD of throwing a fit and CUSSING at the CMs (at disney world, of all places!!!), i asked if there was any way to prove that he was a guest there without us having to go back to the resort to get his room key. they said to go to guest services inside and they could look up our reservation. problem solved!

THEN, this lady decides she’s going to breast-feed her baby with her breast just hanging out. Yeah..it was the most awkward line ever to weave past her every time. Haha.

oh, don't get me started on this!!!!!! i HATE this! i realize that breastfeeding your baby is a perfectly natural thing but i do not need to see your b**bs hanging out, please!!!!!! i used to be a server and that happened every now and then. i would walk up to a table and there would be a woman with all her business hanging out for everyone to see. i would always ask if she would like me to get her a chair to sit in the bathroom but usually they said no. i plan to breastfeed but i'm definitely not doing it in public without a blanket over me!!!!!

We were also entertained by a guy who videotaped the whole ride with his camera! We were hoping he had a good grip on it!

ray always films that ride! he's never dropped the camera....i hope he never does.

I would have been so angry if I had seen that family leave a baby in a stroller! I know that it's Disney, but that doesn't mean that everyone is trustworthy! Grrr. That makes me mad, considering the precautions we took to make sure we never let Dylan out of our sight.
