nephews-Aled and Rhys- lets torment netty lads
and Aleds friend Chris
well we left Manchester 30 minutes late at 2pm on a virgin atlantic plane-arriving in MCO early at 5pm!
went straight to dollar express to get our car which was supposed to be a RAV4, but dollar don't do these, so was offered a Jeep Liberty, which is what we had last year and is so uncomfortable! anyway, after saying that I had a bad back, we got a free upgrade to a 7 str minivan
we got the priorities right and went straight to walmart on the 192
we bought, bacon, eggs sausages, bread butter cheese ham etc, Ian likes to cook breakfasts in the villa some days!
we arrived at the villa in Chatham Park , and on first looks it looked quite nice, then on closer inspection it looked like we had gone into another familys home and they had gone out for the day
the cupboards were full of packets of food, coffee, sugar etc just thrown in and the garage was just a mess, with strollers bikes etc just thrown in! anyway as it was just the 2 of us, we decided to make the most of it and contact the owner when we got back home.. in the meantime I had a shower and then went to use the towel which smelt musty
infact most of them did. so all of them got washed there and then, what a great start to the holiday!!
Day 1
Today was saturday and we decided to go around walmart on the 535 and then onto the loop to look for halloween costumes for mnsshp!
we met up with Gailie and family on the loop and we all went for tea at BJ's-if you have never been to BJ's restaurant go and try it! they brew their own beers onsite
sorry i can't remember what we all ate that night- but the beer was good
needless to say we never got our mnsshp costumes!!
Day 2
Gaile and lads came to our villa and we all decided to jump in our 7 str and go to Silver Springs, we all have been there before a couple of yrs ago or so and decided it would be a nice day out again!
Aled, Rhys and Chris
we drove up the 27-well Ian did with Steve as co-pilot, me and Gail sat in the middle row of seats looking out the windows,at cocoon land
as you drive up the 27 there are quite alot of areas that are retirement estates so to speak. we were all getting hungry when one of the lads spotted a Mcdonalds so we pulled in there, yes you guessed it -it was full of oap's!!
after our burgers we carried up towards S Springs, by this time we were in torrential rain, it finally subsided and we were about 10 mins away from S Springs.... we finally pulled into the park only to be told by the car park attendent in his hut that the park was closing in half an hour
what!! it was only 1.30pm......we parked up to decide what to do next, the lads decided they needed the loo and so headed towards the park entrance.. they got in the park to use the loo's and then when coming back towards the exit was asked if they wanted to go on the last boat tour of the day- now bearing in mind me gail and Ian were still outside the park waiting for them...they got on the boat for the half hour trip... but felt quilty and duly got off again... lucky for them as they would of been in big trouble from us
I went to the park entrance to ask why the park was closed and I was told that bad weather was on its way according to their radar system..
we all trundled back into the minivan and decided to head across country on the forest road,we stopped here in the middle of nowhere!
Ian and Rhys looking for snakes or something
Gail staying close to the car as she had seen black bear signs!
after our little stroll around there we all got back in the car and headed for Mount Dora, we drove through little towns before we came across this place
we walked around the walkways before heading back to the car, right near the lake there was a bar which was jam packed with people enjoying a beer or two!
We eventually got to Mount Dora and wasn't that impressed, looks like Colwyn bay on a good day! the lads got bored easily and me and Gail went to have a look around the craft shops and then we all met up and went ...to another craft shop

here we go then!
