I'll be going to WDW (  ) for 10 days right after Thanksgiving. I usually take one day (I know, should do at least two, right?) for a USF/IoA visit. I have not been there since last December. What do I need to know to be updated (I know, I know, I should stop by here more often, right? :o :teeth: ) What would be a better day to go there? I do have new AP's waiting for me when I get there (I got the BK special a few months ago, see, I do lurk here. :p)

So, all you USF/IoA experts, give me a 3 minute, $2 rundown. ::MickeyMo (Oh, wait, wrong guy..........

After the Thanksgiving weekend there is a lull in the crowds. It will be a good time to go. Go during the week, as the crowds are generally less.

USF has Shrek and Jimmy Neutron, the two newest things there, and both worth seeing. While in USF, take a look on how the Mummy construction is coing along and be sure to take up a Ghostbusters show.

IOA hasn't changed much since your last visit. Dont forget to ride Spider-Man & Hulk.

::yes:: :teeth:

Um...it'll probably be the holiday version after Thanksgiving, right DM? If they are doing it again, that is. If they do, I'm scared to see it after what I heard about last years!! :rotfl:

PS - Dan, you can't forget an encounter with the Grinch at Grinchmas!

Thanks much, DM, and FE, for the quick replies. Yep, Jimmy and Shrek were both being worked on back then, looking forward to them. Is Ghostbusters where Beetlejuice was, or is that still there too? Those two parks are great!!!!

The Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue is still in the same place. The GB show is on the steps on the NY Library, right next to Twister.

Oh, I see, DM. When i was there last, Beetlejuice was being renovated. And I did see the GB show there. I thought it was like a fill in for the Beetlejuice show, as he was in it, LOL. It was great, I really enjoyed it.

The Beetlejuice Show is worth seeing. There's one BJ who is really good and funny.

What does the holiday GB show consist of??? Fly Fly, you must know. Is it that they change to holiday songs????

I missed it last year SpideyHulk. :( :( All because my cousin told me not to bother

Though I've heard it's hysterical. I think they do change to holiday music (though I don't know for a fact, I think they didn't limit it to just Christmas music). And there was one part that will be a tad bit disturbing if it's there again...:p :p But, since I haven't seen it yet, I can only imagine...and hopefully I'm imagining it worse than it really is.

No, i'm not going to say b/c I have to see it first!!!

Can't make a fool of myself like I did today. :rotfl:

FlyFly

Why the cliff hanger?!! What happened that you feel you made a fool of yourself? Don't you know all of us at home are having a vicarious vacation through you and the others at UO this weekend? We want scoop!

The Grinch is very good. He IS the Grinch. His voice, his attitude, everything.

The Year I went the first week of Dec was great. NO LINES. None. you could ride the Hulk over and over again, Spiderman is the best.
My daughter and I had our pictures taken with the Grinch, seeing that we live in the town Dr Sesus grow up in. Mulberry St is right downtown. We came home and printed the photos and inclosed them in our Xmas cards.
It was the best time.

Very cool, Sarahsmom85. Sounds neat. I think I will go on Monday, the 1st.

That's it!! i'm going to write a trip report for whats happened so far. I can't take it anymore!!!!!!! :p :p :p

Where's that report Fly Fly??? Can't find it.

Sorry Spideyhulk!! I was going to post in my in "Sweet 16" thread but after losing all I typed up (lol yeah, I'm still not over it...85 minutes later), I may type it up tomorrow and post it in the Trip Reports Thread. I may do a day to day type thing (one day gets its own thread) that way, I can add my last day without it being singled out from the rest (lol it would bug me :p). TTYL! i'll try to post at least one day's trip report tomorrow!!!
