I haven't been to WDW in a couple of years and never at Christmas...so......

How far in advance can you make PS reservations?

We are flying in on Christmas Day, where would you suggest for that dinner? (staying at Pop Century if that helps)

What is MVMCP consist of and how do you get tickets and are they included in the admission price??

From what I have heard, Christmas is the busiest time. I would suggest PS ASAP.

Some prefer to eat at Chef Mickey's for their first dinner. I would call and see if there is any availability at any locations. You can also eat at the Food Court if you can't get a PS somewhere.

As for MVMCP, I believe the last night is Dec. 18; therefore, it won't be going on during your visit. It is a "hard ticket" event meaning that you need to pay separate admission to attend.

Have a magical trip! I would love to spend one Christmas at WDW, but my DH doesn't want to because of the lines. He did say "maybe one year", so there is still hope!

Thanks for the replies. We are not going this year we are going next year so I neede to know how far in advance I cna make PS's so I can mark my Calender. Is it 60 days?

PS can be made 90 days out.

I would try to get Wolf Gang Puck's for dinner on Christmas, but you can't make reservations for there through the standard number...I don't have it, I'm sorry! Kids may prefer Chef Mickey's or Rainforest Cafe or something.

Can you make PSs at all the restaurants or only the ones in the parks? as in the ones in DTD? Its been over 2 years since i have done this...when you make the reservation do you get some kind of "booklet that explains this??

I'm new to all this myself, but here is what I've found:

Disney Dining doesn't make PS's for the Rainforest Cafe in DTD, so you can TRY to call them directly at 407-827-8500 to get a PS. (Notice I capitalized TRY...I seem to be getting the run around from them in trying to book a January 1st PS with them. I'm told they can't yet, but have seen several posts on the DIS boards from others that say they already have their PS for that date. )

Disney Dining will make a PS for House of Blues in DTD.

Planet Hollywood, I am uncertain of.

If you are in doubt of any other PS's you can always call Disney Dining and ask, here's their number (either will work): 800-828-0228 or 877-939-3732.
