Does anyone know a store, or type of store, that sells fried wontons like the ones that used to be at Ohana? I'm talking about the chip like ones that just recently disappeared (not the stuffed ones). Also, what was the red sauce they served with it - chimichurri sauce?

Also, does anyone know how Disney is with substitutions? The Tambu Lounge has that "crisp breads & dips" appetizer that (as of early Feb.) still had the wontons in it that Ohana used to have. We're desperate - do you think they'd let us substitute more wontons in place of the other two breads? This is of course contingent on Tambu not getting rid of the wontons. :rotfl:

I dont know if they are similar at all since last time i was at Ohana they still had the stuffed wontons, but Trader Joes sells a bagged wonton chip. They have a few flavors, one of which is hot mustard.

I also saw these being made on a cooking show the other day. She just took the wanton wrapper, brushed it lightly with oil and baked the chips in the over til they were crispy.

Thanks for the tip about Trader Joes! I'll definitely check it out. I've been craving them lately but have no idea where to find them. :sad1:
