We'll be in Disneyland Nov.19-22. The 2 other times we've been we missed the fireworks, Fantasmic and lucked out on an okay spot for the parade.
Can you give me any hints about where to sit and what time to arrive for:

Fantasmic

Holiday Parade

Fireworks

Pixar Parade in DCA

Thanks!

One of the best places to view the holiday parade is from right under the big Christmas Tree when you come into the park. This works best for when the parade starts up by It's a Small World. It is very magical. For the fireworks we usually stand on the platform near the train station when you come in the park. There is no actual seating up there but it gives you a great view and a quick way out of the park at the end of the night. Fantasmic we pay for the seats for that one because I can vision holding a spot for a couple of hours.

We have never seen the Pixar Parade but plan to this time and will hunt down a CM and ask them where the best place is.

Fantasmic will just be back up the week before and I hear there are some changes so it might be crowded. but basically there are three main water screen. the one on the back side near mansion i think is the best. get your spot, send someone to go buy clam chowder in a bread bowl and your hot cocoa and sit on the second landing area. The opposite side gets all the wind and over spray so unless you want to be damp the rest of the night don't sit there! I would also suggest doing the second showing of fantasmic. It's less crowded usually.

The holiday parade is great either by where the first person said or near small worlds. I love the back drop of It's a small world there too.

The fireworks are best if you scope out an early spot in the main partners hub. You will see every aspect of the fireworks. But it is crowded as all get out! during the day sometime think about where in that area you can see the castle from. getting a place off to one side but in still clear view of the castle will be great!

Pixars play parade is great from the benches any where in between the sunglasses dinosaur to Pizza oh mow mow area where it exits. Sit on the west side with your back to the sun though. It is not nearly as crowded in that area as the main entrance area.

If IASW is open at that time and if they have the IASW seating area, that is a wonderful (though not the absolute best) place to see the fireworks from.

When we sat there Sept '07, we didn't see everything you can see from the castle area, but they had images flashing on IASW, you couldsit down during the fireworks (you actually had to, they enforced it), and we saw most everything. And then you're perfectly positioned for an IASW ride as soon as the fire marshall clears the ride.

So if it's back open and if they are set up for the fireworks viewing back there, you could try there. :)

The parade in Disneyland...I liked watching from, and this sounds funny, in front of the bathrooms behind/to the side of Alice in Wonderland ride. If you're looking at Alice with Teacups behind you, go to the left and around the wall, and you will find bathrooms. Stake out your spot there, being sure you're not in a spot where your vision will be impaired by a tree in the way (newbie error I made), and it's a nice place. They don't allow seating on the other side, so the performers are only looking one way, towards that area, which is very nice!

We like the area right around the entrance to a Bug's Land (by PT Fleas and the Wine Country Trattoria) for the Pixar Play Parade.
