Hi gang. I'll be going to Orlando in November, with a stop at Universal. Now, I know it sounds crazy, but someone told me that the Back to the Future ride is closed and gone forever. I can't find any news on this, could someone confirm (or deny) this for me?

Also, a friend of mine gave me a tattered but unused admission ticket to Universal studios, from the year 2000 or so. Is it still valid?

Thanks for any help you can give me!!

BTTF is alive and well at this time. I can't answer about the ticket. :D

As of about 6:00 PM August 7,2003 Back to the Future was still kicking. This classic will be there for a long long time. The ride is a little over 12 years old and is just as good as the day it opened. I previewed this ride in March 91.

The tickets never expire, I would hope that it could be read by the Ticket machine. Otherwise try guest services they may be able to help.

Glad to hear it. My daughter is a huge fan of the movie, and wanted to ride in the Delorean. I am sad to see that Kongfrontation is gone, however.

Thanks for your quick replies!!

BTTF is WAY too popular to close. It still generates 30-75 minute waits during the peak season, plus the 20th anniversary is coming up, and USJ just recently put thiers in. It's gonna stay for several more years.

I thought something was fishy about the guy's story...he obviously confused Kongfrontation with BTTF. The last time I was at USo was in '93, and the line was almost 2 hours. Looking forward to seeing it again!!!
