OMG a Jimmy Dean ad just came on!My hat is off to a guy who is still making money 10 years after he died and 26 years after he sold his company.
While my first choice would be an Egg McMuffin, second choice Schwans McMuffin, I had one of his breakfast sandwiches this morning. VERY good. Give them a try.
Let me guess, the one where he talks about eggs, sausage and "tators"?OMG a Jimmy Dean ad just came on!
I see ads for Dreams Unlimited on here trying to sell cruises. As long as Costco sells them at a bigger discount I'll use Costco.
Costco does not discount cruises.....Travel agencies cannot discount cruises per their contracts with the cruise lines.
Radio commercial- KARS for Kids. I change the station as soon as I can
It's not a "discount". You still pay the same price for the cruise. BUT, you get a COSTCO shop card equal to a percentage of the cruise price to use in the store later. That comes out of the profit that DCL (or any cruise line) gives to a TA that books a client with them. So no money out of DCL's pocket.Call it whatever you want. Bottom line is that you will end up paying less for your cruise if you book with Costco. If the final price was exactly the same why would anyone use Costco Travel? You will never hear anyone say that they use Costco Travel for the knowledge of their phone staff or their superior service. 100% of people using Costco Travel are doing so because the final price is less.
The question is why does Disney allow loopholes in their contracts with Travel Agents? Disney is really doing a dis service to the smaller travel agents by allowing Costco to discount cruises. Disney should not allow Costco to discount cruises which gives them an unfair advantage.

All travel agents charge the same price for the cruise. Well, the cruise line charges the same price, regardless if you use a TA or not. Cruise lines give a bonus to a TA if they book a cruise for their client. A TA decides if he/she/it will pass on that savings, or a portion of it, or none. But why haven't other travel agents complained about the Costco loophole? It really damages smaller travel agents. Costco should not be allowed to rebate a portion of the cost of your cruise. It is an underhanded way to get around the intent that all travel agents charge the same price.

This made me laugh because my husband and I were just talking about this one Jimmy Dean commercial from a couple years ago. The owner comes on screen and gives his sales pitch and then takes a bite of a sausage. And he doesn't chew it. You can see him begging with his eyes, "Can I spit this out yet?"So, I keep the tv on during the day mostly for background noise. I hear some commercials repeated VERY frequently, and it got me to thinking about the products they are advertising.
One, in particular, is just pervasive. Jimmy Dean sausage. I have never in my life eaten or purchased any Jimmy Dean product and never intend to. Yet, I hear this commercial numerous times a day, on different channels. What is it with this company? No, I won't be buying your roll of meat, thanks.
What's a commercial you can't stop hearing for a product you will never buy?
