A Christmas Extravaganza of auditions, adventures & new friends!-Updated 8/28x3!!

Hey friends! I do hope you're all enjoying this wonderous week we've got going so far! Just popping in to say Hi and that I will be starting to speed this TR along a little bit quicker, more like 2-3 updates a week or so. I just need it to be done so I'm not working on as many at once!
Steven & I will be returning to Disney in August for the Villains Unleashed, and because of the special event I want to do a TR, plus our 2 week adventure in Sept, and I'd like to at least attempt a semi live TR of my program, and that's a lot to keep up with, so, let's continue on with Christmas shall we?

**********

Boo To You, right?!?!

Bahahaah, but seriously, the Christmas parade was eventually making its way around the corner and into the hub and were ready for it! Also, I did my best to edit the not so great photos I had…so….that’s what ya’ll are getting!

The characters are all so super cute in their winter, christmasey outfits, and I just LOVE that Chip & Dale just get to have a snowball fight the entire time, and they were definitely throwing it at everyone, including their float driver, bahah!

It also always strikes me so off guard that the princesses are in the middle of this parade, bahahaah. We were also keeping our eyes out for Naveen, as I knew thanks to Sept that the friend I knew was trained on Christmas parade,…

Took that picture for Steven, bahaha. I’m not sure why, but the kid has a serious HATE on for Clarabelle since Boo To You. I think it’s just because she is such a rare, no-one-knows-who-she-is character that it doesn’t really make sense that she has her own float in both Halloween AND Christmas parades?!

The parade finished up, and boy, AGAIN, IS IT EVER FREAKING LONG!! Seriously, even in the time its taken me to type up this update I’ve listened to Boo to You twice through! Bahahahha! It’s a cute parade, I do enjoy it. The song gets FREAKING ANNOYING, and I can’t imagine how the performers feel about it, twice a night, plus rehearsals, like, ugh. Speaking of performers, we did see a TON of repeats from earlier in the day, including one girl who was out doing MiSi (3 times) plus CADCT, and two Christmas parades, like GEEZE. And, the best part was that she was SUPER amazing, energetic and just plain awesome and fantastic to watch! YAY!

As the parade ended, literally EVERYONE cleared out, almost immediately, to try and get out to the busses, like, really?! THERE WAS STILL SO MUCH PARTY TIME LEFT!!! Naturally, we got some EMPTY CASTLE PICTURES

We’re cute.

Steven had really wanted to see Merida, and since the entire park pretty much cleared out, there wasn’t much of a wait over there!

Yeah…that’s all I got for that one….it was NOT a great experience all around on any side, and all of us agreed there was just something not right about the meet at all. But hey! We were about to make up for that, so, let’s move on, shall we?

Since the Disneybound Steven & I were doing was Aurora & Phillip, we obviously had to go see the two of them together, so we figured that would be our last stop for the Christmas filled evening. The wait was non existant at this time, and we noticed the other side of PFTH was empty as well, and vowed if we made it through in time, we’d jump over there after.

Our first greet was Cinderella & Charming, and we had been talking about ways of brining up the sequels to the characters, so that if they didn’t really know, we could bail them out, or at least, not be those jerks (Ie, ask where Melody is to Ariel, instead of asking “how old are you” and when she replies “16” you say “don’t you have a 12 year old daughter” kind of thing…. #rude)

So, we’re up chatting with Charming & Cindy, and Steven turns to Charming and says “ So, I have a question for you….did it hurt when you jumped out the window?”

….Charming kinda stuttered and stared blankly….

He clearly had NO idea what we were talking about. Steven started to hint towards it, and even held up 3 fingers to represent Cinderella 3, but the poor guy was seriously stumped. Cinderella chimed in that the shoulder pads helped break the fall, and trying to stifle our laughter, we explained the situation to Charming and he was all “oohh…yes….well..anything for my princess”

#whoops

Needless to say, I do not think he was too pleased with us that evening….BAHAH!

Still laughing, we moved on over to Aurora & Phillip where they of course commented on our attire for the evening, and of course, Steven retorted with “Well, I’m better looking” and OUT CAME THE SASSS! Seriously, not just from him, this Phillip was SPOT ON and READY for it, I honestly couldn’t tell you what all was said, but there was a TON of laughing from Amanda & I and it was a grand old time!

Once we’d calmed down enough we did pose for some twinning photos!

Yeah we’re cute! The sassy-ness calming down slowly, but really not at all, we said goodbye, thank you, and BOOKED it on out of there, there was JUST ENOUGH TIME LEFT IN THE NIGHT!!

Amanda, Steven & I raced around in a circle to make it back over to the entrance to Fairytale Hall and found that we did indeed, have enough time left to run through Rapunzel’s line once more!! YAY!! We barely waited at all, and were escorted into the room that we’d been in before, and noticed that it was even the same friends hanging out with the characters as before… #awkward but who cares!? Amanda used the excuse that she was so excited she had forgotten to get them to sign her book, so we were solid!

We chatted around for a bit, Amanda got her book signed, and I honestly have NO idea what is going on in these photos, but I do find them remarkably hilarious….

Specifically that face….

Amanda also asked Rapunzel if it would be okay to get some pictures just with Flynn, and of course they obliged!

Gotta get that smoulder in there! I definitely forgot to mention, but since no one else had been around Fantasyland, we actually ended up being the very LAST people in the room for the meet and greet, and thus, their set, so we didn’t feel that bad about taking up a little more time. So, Steven moved in for some solo pictures when Amanda was done.

He also asked if he could get some pictures solo with Flynn too…and here…is where we, a few weeks later, noticed a striking resemblance between the two of them…

Seriously though…..

As it reached my turn it was time for a GAME CHANGER….Flynn made some comment about how I probably wanted a picture with just him as well and my response was that I actually wanted one with just Rapunzel. Flynn replied with “ooohhh I see how it is….” But did kindly step out of the way for us girls to take some pictures!

Us blonde’s just got to stick together! We thanked the couple and moved on over to our last greet of the night, and despite it now being past midnight, Snow certainly was still chipper, as she greeted us with a VERY loud & high pitched “Oh Hello again!!” She definitely caught us off guard, but was still very lovely.

We talked about various things, our adventures during the evening, and they did ask if we had been over to see their other royal friends during the party, and we told re-enacted our little story of what happened with Prince Charming.

Turns out Snow Prince likes to hang out with Charming occasionally as he knew EXACTLY what was going on, and then broke a little bit asking “what’d’he look like? Was he a super tall guy” and when we replied with yes, Snow simply stated “oh…he must have grown since the last time we saw him….”

#characterintegrityforthewin

Yup…way to go Snow Prince….It was awesome and priceless nonetheless though, and we knew that Snow Prince would probably say something to Charming later which was hilarious to us!

Despite it being past midnight, and the party being over….believe it or not…but our night was NOT YET OVER….so I have to continue in a different update as I have just a few too many pictures, lol.

We left the Fairytale Hall still in giggles and great spirits from our evening, I guess the hot chocolate & cookie sugar high was probably also helping. And what did we find? Well…to start off with, a very empty Fantasyland….seriously…there was no one back there. This wasn’t like May, when New Fantasyland was empty and as we progressed through the park we found more people near the entrance, the park was seriously DEAD.

Naturally, we took this opportunity to get as many freaking pictures as possible!!! I have edited them a little bit so I hope they turned out well!!

The castle at Chrismtas is by far one of my favorite things….and of course, being in the hub, I’ve always wanted a picture of the other side of the Partner’s Statue, like, Walt is showing you some of what he’s created…it kinda turned out…

MY ONE TRUE LOOOOOVVEEEE #seriouslythough

We then started our slow walk down Main Street towards the Train Station and began to notice that we weren’t the only stragglers around Magic Kingdom that night. There were a few people still out on Main Street and a few up at the train station, clearly waiting for the “one” picture they could get of the empty park. I made the call to stop at the end of Town Square and get some photos of the three of us, and we even lucked out at having a friendly stranger take some of all three of us!

Naturally, Steven & I posed like our Disneybound inspriations, Aurora & Phillip.

Now’s gonna be the point where I go on that usual little “friendship” rant that I tend to go on during the trip reports I write, bahaha! It’s so weird to me to think that there was a point where Steven was “an annoying new kid” at work, until he commented on my Snow White bow…and knew what it was….less than a month later and we’d gone to Disney with Paige. And now (currently as of writing this, it’s March 12th lol) we’ve been on another 4 trips together, encouraged each other through a series of audtions, and had so many adventures together. And, some very exciting news, as of the latest audition we attended, Steven is officially in the character pool!!! WHICH IS SUPER EXCITING!!! He lucks out in having his height play a huge bonus for him, so hopefully he will hear good news with 6 months, or he has to reaudition.

ANYWAYS, yeah, Disney brings people together a whole lot.

Speaking of Disney brining people together…..bahaha. Amanda is seriously the greatest friend a girl could ask for. If you had asked me a few years ago if I thought I would have made so many wonderful and great friendships through the INTERNET, I would’ve thought you were crazy! But, Amanda is such an amazing and wonderful and hilarious and perfect person! We got along amazingly right from the start, and continue to encourage each other through everything in life, and of course, auditions. She’s definitely a princess, and I know that one day soon we will both be down there working, it’s gonna happen, and I’m so glad that we’ve created the friendship we have!

Rant ended….

We finally made our way out of the park and over to the bus stop. Thanks to it being so late, we didn’t even need to wait that long before we were back over at Pop Century and away to dream land, it was super insanely late, and we had to make rope drop the next morning!!!

aw what a fun end to the evening - those seem like great Meet & Greets with the Princes and Princesses!

Oh, BTW - I know that Clarabelle is featured on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney Jr - maybe that is why she is featured a bit more than one would think? :confused3

I never thought about the view from the back of the partners statue being Walt pointing out over what he created but that is pretty cool. I have heard that it is set up that he is pointing down towards the Roy / Minnie statues as if to say "Roy, now it's your turn to run things" but I like your take on it as well

That is so awesome for Steven - he must be over the moon! Not bad for the annoying new kid ;)

I cannot wait till December! Your pictures are getting me so excited. :cool1:

I do think I will enjoy the Christmas parade because I've always been more of a Christmas fan than Halloween.

Sounds like the Princess meets were a lot of fun. I don't know what my problem is but I get so nervous and never know what to say. Maybe I need to rehearse some lines but my luck it would end up like your meet with Prince Charming. :rotfl:

I do hope the party that I go to empties out like this one. Your pictures of the empty areas are so pretty and I want to see that for myself!

So excited for Stephen being in the character pool! I do hope he gets called and you both end up working there!

Hmmm. I'm very glad that you guys had a great night, but you had some character meet duds didn't you? Merida looked off from the first picture. And wayyy too busty (that sounds awful, but you know what I mean.)

Oh Charming. Maddie would definitely have questioned him about the sequels. She gets pretty annoyed with him in 2 when he falls for the disguise.

So cool that Steven made it into the character pool! Keep us posted!

You have such great character interactions! It's very cool that you've made great friends via your love of Disney!

Haha, it appears this is Christmas parade update week, lol

Aww Santa Duffy. I'm going to awwwww everytime I see him from now on.

Chip and Dale are a true highlight, no doubt.

I have to side with Steven on this one. Clarabelle??? Seriously???? And where's the chicken???? (actually thank God there's no chicken.)

I do not understand people rushing to leave before the party ends either (those with tiny kids I get). Like, where are you rushing to? You paid money for a Disney vacation... you paid extra money for the party... But I need to leave and beat the rush. I don't get it. Good for you though!!! :thumbsup2

BTW, and I usually don't comment on "what people are wearing" (unless it's MNSSHP), but that is a really pretty dress you're wearing and it really suits you. Just felt the need to mention that. :)

Um... OK... I have to say it. What Amanda is doing in the first Flynn/Rapunzel photo you should never ever do with a guy present... But then again, I could be completely misinterpreting her hand gesture. :rolleyes1

So much fun.

I agree about the Clarabelle float??? Why her own?? She is on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so my little ones knows who she is but really??

I loved all your fun meet ups this round...those princes are such fun.

Character pool for your friend is awesome and from the looks of it he would make a perfect Flynn??? wow the resemblance is so odd.

Okay, that Peter was just weird. I have no other words for it. And he looked a bit like a derp too. :rotfl2:

Hahaha, bringing up sequels to stump the characters. Even I don't know all of the sequels intimately. :lmao:

I think the meet and greet photos are always best when you have no idea what's going on! Or at least because you can't remember what happened. LOL.

This community we have on the DISboards and all over the Disney community it just awesome! It brings people together in the best ways.

They were fantastic!! The princesses are usually so much better when they have someone to feed off of lol!

Ah! that makes more sense, I had no idea who she really was at the start, but if she's on there that probably means more people know who she is lol!

Awwwwwe that's an adorable concept on the statues! I just feel that too many people pass them by...both of them...barely anyone knows how much work Roy put into the parks/company and it's sad and amazing to know how much he actually did do

Ahahaha right?! You're only in the pool for 6 months though :worried: so we're hoping that he gets his call within the next 3! We are going down again in Aug/Sept & he's helping me move come Oct so he's got lots of other chances to get back into the pool if need be, we're just hoping for a few more audition that fit us!

I cannot wait till December! Your pictures are getting me so excited. :cool1:

Yay!! I'm so glad! Man, you're really cranking the use out of that AP! :thumbsup2 I'll have to come crash your trips at some point!! :rotfl2:

Haha that's totally fair, and it is a nice parade, and lovely for the season, but I'm just not that into it!

Bahahah the character interactions are fantantastic! I'm sure they'll have tons to say to fill in the lull in conversation, I mean, it is their job!

I LOVED that it got so empty, we lucked out that's for sure! It was such an incredible way to end the night!! And yes!! I really and hoping for the day that Amanda & I are dancing our way down Main St together while Steven's busy hanging out with the goof! I know it'll happen!

Hmmm. I'm very glad that you guys had a great night, but you had some character meet duds didn't you? Merida looked off from the first picture. And wayyy too busty (that sounds awful, but you know what I mean.)

RIGHT?!!? UGH, the moment she walked out we were all kinda like "uhhh...." but I know there are some fantstic friends of Merida's that I've been meeting since that've definitely made up for it! And I totally get it! Me being a busty girl, I know it's like, my main problem in terms of being face :rotfl:

Ahahahah, Maddie would!! Lol, SUCH a great sequel too! I think my favorite is when the mice sing their "at the ball" song!

You have such great character interactions! It's very cool that you've made great friends via your love of Disney!

We have a lot of fun with characters, it really does add to the experience I find! lol

Haha, it appears this is Christmas parade update week, lol

Right?! Hahaha, it's sad, it's July and I'm only done like, officially day 1 of this trip :rolleyes2

I don't get it! I will ALWAYS aim to be one of the last people leaving the park! Even on a regular night you'll find me watching DEP from the hub so I can race back to fairytale hall to hit up both sides of it before park closing lol!

Awe, thank you!! I actually pulled it out of the goodwill bag because of that comment! :thumbsup2 Lol. I did think it was perfect for Aurora, and although I picked up another one a few weeks ago I'll give it second chance, have a "cold weather" option, right?! Lol.

It's weird, and like, her own float in boo to you as well, it's interesting!

Thanks!! It was an awesome time!! And YES! This was the trip we noticed that! He's being Flynn for one of our parties this halloween (not sure which one) it'll be fin to play around with that!

Okay, that Peter was just weird. I have no other words for it. And he looked a bit like a derp too. :rotfl2:

Hahaha, bringing up sequels to stump the characters. Even I don't know all of the sequels intimately. :lmao:

Super derp. Super weird. Half wish I was there.

Ahahaha RIGHT?! It's actually hilarious because they're definitely not required to watch them, but there are definitely kids/people out there who would question every detail. Hence why I'd be so hesitant to hang out with Leia! THINK OF THE QUESTIONS FROM THE STAR WARS NERDS :faint: lol!

Right?! I'm so glad that I've been brought together with so many wonderful & amazing people through the online community! They really are the best!

Our next day began bright and early, which was luckily welcomed, it was still early on the trip and we still had some energy left for the week, WHOOT! I’m pretty sure we just ate in the room while we got ready, and headed down to the bus stop. The original plan for today was for Steven & I to Disneybound as Mike Wazowski & Boo from Monster’s Inc. Well, his was decent, and mine…well…I was first planning on buying an oversized t-shirt and belting it, but got lazy, and cheap, so I just wore a pink tank top, and hey, I’m a 24 year old young woman…I’m not wearing pig tails…so I dropped the ball pretty hard today… #whoops! Lol.

We got to the park at a decent time, and I honestly don’t remember if we had to wait out front of the park or not, but before we knew it, we were off to Toy Story Mania for a standby ride first thing!! I also excitedly noticed that MR SPELL WAS ACTUALLY ON AND WORKING TODAY!!

…it was excting… I’ve never seen it happen before…

I did have a little problem once we got into the ride vehicle and shooting away as I noticed the string on my gun wasn’t going all the way back in, and I COULDN’T SHOOT PROPERLY…THIS WAS A SERIOUS PROBLEM GUYS!! Bahaha, but really, I still did good and still had a fun time!

Upon exiting the toy box, we noticed it was a complete mad house over in Pixar Place and promptly left for a slightly more spooky atmosphere…

Why hello Tower…my old friend….how AMAZING IT IS TO FINALLY SEE YOUR BEAUTIFUL FACE AGAIN!

Seriously though, it just hit me how much I miss ToT right now, ugh, I NEED to be back to it soon! This side of the park was not nearly as crowded as our previous area, which was awesome, and we didn’t have much of a wait at all.

As you can see, we EVEN GOT FRONT ROOOWWWW!! I’m pretty sure the ride sequence included the “fakeout” at the end, but that’s like, easily my favorite way to end that ride, so no one’s mad AT ALL. WHOOT!

With our two main rides done for the first part of the day, we discussed that some characters were in order, and that it was probably best to go see Mike & Sulley before people realize they were back there and had a long line. I also mentioned I’d really like to see Stitch depending on what his sets times were. Well, lo and behold, we were crossing through the hub, and OUT CAME STITCH, and OUT TO A PLACE WITH NO EXISTANT LINE.

#win

He was super adorable and cute and I just LOVE him so much, also we clearly could have caught on to the fact that he was doing scary alien/monster hands, bahah! We wished Stitch a good day and continued on our way over to the Monster’s University area! It was the first time I’d been back there since it had been re done, and it was cute, but pretty much the exact same set up and such. We didn’t take a single picture of the queue area, but hey, we were a little bit distracted. I was messaging with Rob, a fellow disser (DisneyKid4Life on here!) to attempt a meet up before he took off to another park! Steven was busy talking about something, and then Amanda & I started watching the meet and greets that were going on in front of us.

We both realized it at the exact same second…..there was a younger guy, solo, up meeting Mike & Sulley who looked…oddly familiar… it took a few moments and Amanda & I both turned to each other at the same second and were all “IS THAT WHO I THINK IT IS?!?!”

Yup…

…it was a very good friend of Flynn Rider’s….the friend that we had actually met the previous night….He was a CP, so it made sense to see him out in the park on a day off, and it was a moment of complete WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK?!?

Sadly, that was the only exciting part of the meet and greet. We got to the front, Steven had his hat on, and Mikey & Sulley were DONE WITH THE WORLD. Sulley didn’t even MOVE during the greet and Mikey barely did anything,

We all agreed after the greet that we definitely should have just skipped out and found our friend and seen what he was up to for the day, the monster’s were just not feeling it. Luckily for us, there was a better meet right around the corner!

ROB! A fellow Canadian, Stacy lover, and most importantly, birthday boy that day! We caught up for a bit, chatted about the last few days, introduced him to Steven & Amanda and then made on our merry way! Go check out his TR! (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3211436 ) While I’d been chatting away with a fellow disboarder, Steven & Amanda had been searching through the crowds for Flynn’s friend, he’d been wearing a Woody hoodie, so we thought he’d be easy to spot, but we figured he’d come to see the Monster’s and then taken off for the day, and was now nowhere to be seen, so we headed off for some more fun! They were out for the day, but it was a good thing I knew where the key was!

First time I’d actually looked for it, so that was cool! Steven did wonder what the heck I was doing!

We all thouroughly enjoyed the Muppets, as always, but I was starting to feel the TIRED! Closing out MVMCP last night and getting up for rope drop this morning was KILLING me once I sat down and the lights went dim! I would’ve killed for a nap at that moment! When we came out of the theatre, I started to make my way into the Christmas Shoppe that was over there as I CAN’T RESIST THE PULL OF THOSE PRINCESS SHOE ORNAMENTS!! I also knew that Amanda had been wanting the Rapunzel one back in May but hadn’t been able to find it, so we all ended up in there buying a couple things…

Those were from a couple of trips, some from the DTD shopping with Steven earlier, but they ARE 3 for $50 for whichever the price is lol! I’m not the biggest fan of the Jasmine one, and really want a Cinderella one, but we’ll see! Lol. The process of buying them honestly took FOREVER, the cast members were INSANELY slow wrapping and packing them up, and waited until they were done wrapping everything to give us the sheet to fill out for resort shipping, and it was just a complete headache… but at least we got our shoes!!

Our extravagant Christmas event over, we noticed it was time for some fast pass plus usage, so we headed back over to Toy Story Mania, where we walked RIGHT onto the ride, and decided to swap around who rode with who this time!

Did pretty good again! And I was best in vehicle! Deciding to stick with the Toy Story Theme, we headed over to Pizza Planet for some lunch! I’m pretty sure we all got pizza’s with salad & a cupcake, and we found seating upstairs! I do love the upstairs there, there’s usually ALWAYS room to sit, and it’s a nice break. Pizza Planet is definitely my favorite counter service as DHS, and one of the only places I’ll actually eat! Lol.

That’s my Cappacinio cupcake, and Steven spent the extra money to get the holiday cupcake!

I seem to remember him not really liking the cupcake, and I did think mine was a bit much, but I scraped off most of the icing and it was still tasty! The pizza’s were great all around, but the salads were just crap, thanks to Danielle I now know that you can order the pizza without the salad, which is super awesome and makes me happy as they just aren’t good!

The three of us finished up with lunch, and talked about what to do next! Amanda has a love for the Backlot Tour, so we headed over there next!

It was cute, nice, I hadn’t done it in a while, but the tiredness of the day was still getting to me! Amanda did at one point in the costuming warehouse nudge me and excitedly point out a TUMBLE MONKEY HEAD PIECE!!!! SO that was awesome, and definitely the highlight of the tour lol.

Next up, I have absolutely no pictures, I know, I know, bad me, but hey! We headed over to use our Rock n Rollercoaster fast passes! I did the nice friend thing and stood in line with Amanda & Steven and then ducked out the chicken exit to the gift shop while they rode! I looked around, and traded some pins and I FOUND THE LAST OF THE HITCHIKING GHOST PINS THAT I NEEDED!!! And seriously freaked out over it, BEST DAY EVER!!!

Amanda & Steven definitely enjoyed their fast paced limo ride with Aerosmith, and we headed out to some music and entertainment a little more slow paced next! Although I did stop and pick up one of the Frozen Strawberry Lemonades on the way! (the like, ice cream styled ones, not the drink ones) that Steven & I shared while we waited for Beauty & the Beast to begin! Amanda was said that she couldn’t partake, she said it looked super tasty (which it was) but of course, her citrus allergy was keeping her from enjoying it *sad face *

We had some super up front seats, which was a super added bonus, and it because even more fantastic when the man of the hour came out….

ya’ll….those are REAL MUSCLES….that is NOT a padded suit, that is not some sculpted on stuff, those are 100% REAL BICEPS ON THIS INCREDIBLE STUD OF A MAN. Like, as IF I wasn’t in love with Gaston enough already, the incredible voice, the attitude, then THIS?!?! I flailed, I died, seriously, I was dead, it was insane.

That girl stole the show for me! She’s definitely one of my favorites, there are two girls now who are the favsies of mine, and we did take note that the one with the badly covered tattoo from October, was not out and about today!

Overall, there was some fantastic dancing in the show today, it was great to see!

I have written down in my notes that there was a purple Bimbette dress, which I really liked, and it was super cute, and that she was super cute. Then something about being super short, and I’m not sure if I meanr the Bimbette or Belle, bahaha! I do believe that the acting in the show was not so spot on today, and I’m pretty sure the three of us were having a bit of a laugh especially when Beast is falling over and dying and it’s just kinda ridiculous….lol. We did enjoy the show though, don’t you worry!!

We had some fast pass plusses for Tower of Terror when we got out of the show, and used them next, straight into the eleveator!! It was a FANTASTIC ride, with the psych out ending that we all enjoyed SUPERBLY! I don’t have the full ride photo, but apparently we zoomed in on Steven’s ride face?

We started at that point playing around with our fast pass choices, according to my notes we had another one for TSMM? (Maybe the fp we used earlier was a paper fast pass? Probably) but it was conflicting with Fantasmic line ups, and we thought about using the fp+ for Fantasmic, but the CM and our previous experience both told us not to, so we kinda just gave up on that and just lined up for Fantasmic then!

They had added a second showing that night, and we discussed doing it instead, but with the audition in the morning, and still having to see the Osbourne Lights, we figured that the earlier one was best. Soon enough, we had grabbed some awesome seats and were officially in the stadium ready to wait!

We took turns running for food, each ending up with a hot dog, which were all good! I also ended up grabbing a beer because the people around me in the line were JUST THAT OBNOXIOUS. There was a Brazillian family behind me and the mother was just not controlling the kid and the kid just kept hitting me, running into me, and hitting my butt, which was just not acceptable, there was NO SENSE of personal space and that was just not cool. Thankfully, snacks and drinks in hand, and back in the space of Amanda & Steven made me a happier person as we continued to wait for the show!

Only at Disney would we stay up past midnight and jump back out of bed the next day at the crack of dawn! That being said, I actually scheduled a sleep in day after my MVMCP in December. I'm going to be there 8 nights so a little downtime is going to be necessary!

Ugh for your gun not working on TSM the first time. I've had that happen a few times and it's so frustrating. :headache:

Stitch was so cute! I have yet to meet him but will be remedying that in October cause Mom and I are having breakfast at O'Hana.

Monsters, Inc = the most awkward great I have ever done. And your's is not the only TR that I've read where others have had a weird greet. I won't be heading to meet them again any time soon!

Love the Princess shoes! You definitely need Cinderella too. :thumbsup2

Yum, those cupcakes look great at Pizza Planet. Do you remember if the holiday one was any particular flavor? I have a feeling I might end up there for dinner in December and the choice of dessert is very important. :lmao:

I don't blame you for sitting out RnRC. I really don't do well on that one any more. It's way too rough for me. I'll probably go on it in October though because it's Mom's favorite. Definitely going to skip it in December!

Awwww, love seeing the B&TB pictures. I have yet to make it back to that show. Last time for me was 2010. I have got to make it a priority this fall!

Good choice not switching to a Fantasmic FP+. When Jim and I used one last fall, the seating was way off to one side. I think we were in the Hades section. Wasn't the best view!

those are really good/cool pictures of TOT - really neat angles you got

At first glance I was super confused by the shoe ornament pictures as I couldn't figure out why Disney had all those Harry Potter books out :rotfl:

Cool that you met up with Rob - fun DISMeet!

oh gosh that is crazy about that family behind you in line with the child repeatedly making physical contact with you ... definitely crosses a line! That happened to that once to us and after the third time I kindly asked them to stop, they then complained to their mom that I had spoken to them and she just shrugged her shoulders and went back to not paying attention. Fun times

I love watching stage shows through your eyes as you notice things that most of us don't ... also that you have seen them so much that you have names for different performers like "badly covered up tattoo girl" ;)

Awe, thank you!! I actually pulled it out of the goodwill bag because of that comment! :thumbsup2 Lol.

That made me giggle and simply smile at the same time. Of course now I feel the need to give an extra item to goodwill here to make up for it. :)

... AND of course I totally missed seeing the Speak and Spell working. Ah well.

Oh man I love when the ToT ride ends... and then it doesn't. Granted I know what to expect based on the little video that runs at the "real" end, but that still doesn't make it not awesome!!!

OMG I so remember all the excitement over the friend of Flynn sighting. :rotfl: And now after seeing all the excitement from the night before, I get it even more. And I STILL wish I had taken a picture of you all in the Monsters Meet since that's exactly where you were when I got there.

Awwww YAY, my very first DISmeet!!!!! :yay: Stacey lover, :rotfl2:. Completely true of course but still :rotfl2: I guess I could have been more subtle with the shirt. I honestly could not have picked a better first DISmeet too. A perfect Birthday present!!!

Isn't it the truth. I could feel like a lightning bolt of energy. And then get inside one of those air conditioned theatres and BAM, instant tired.

Haha, I wonder how the other friends of Gaston feel having to wear the padded suit? Jealous much!

Hollywood day looked like a blast...except maybe the whole kid hitting you in the butt and the odd Monsters, Inc meet up...when we did that one we just had Sully and it was pretty good??? too bad yours was not

Love the close up on the B&B dancers...she looked like fun.

Hope you guys are getting rest before whatever is next

It looks just like the gingerbread holiday cupcake that DisneyKid4Life mentioned in his trip report.

Hahaha yeah, it seems like in Disney running off no sleep is part of the fun! Bahaha, I do enjoy a relaxing day though, we've got a couple scheduled for Sept since we're there so long!

Ohana is SUCH a good breakfast! We did a spontaneous trip there earlier this year and absolutely LOVED it, and seeing Stitch is always a blast!!

Yeah...I think I'll just skip it unless I know who's hanging out with them, bahaha, it's just not that good of a time!

Right?! They're super cute, but I need the classic shoe! Plus she's my girl! Well...my second girl? Lol, Aurora will always be "my girl" bahahha #princessproblems

I have NO idea, I know Steven didn't like it, but he doesn't like cupcakes (no, i don't know how we're still friends..) I think it may have been gingerbread?

Yeah, maybe one day I'll get on RnR, but not that day lol, and thank you! I love photographing shows & parades & it's just gotten worse recently, so you can expect a lot more of those coming up in the future TR's lol!! I love the b&tb show so much!!

We did use the Fant fp back in Oct and knew it was a waste of time, it just doesn't make sense!!

Thank you!!

Bahaha, yeah, my own bookshelf there! Lol, though I do believe they have some Harry Potter stuff in the uk in Epcot?

Ugh, it was not fun, but at least I came out of the situation with a beer to calm myself down :rotfl2:

Awe, thank you! Bahah, yeah, it's fun, we come up with names for them all the time to differentiate between them, though we try not to "nickname" any of the characters, as that crosses the character integrity line lol. Shows and parades truly are my love at Disney, there's just something so magnificent and magical about them!
