I've been doing searches and couldn't find anything really good. Let's put one together and maybe make it sticky?
Anyone like to start us off?
:listen:

This is a "short" list off the top of my head. Please bear in mind that I've been camping all my life, as well as being an Boy Scout Leader so my short list off the top of my head might be longer than others complete list.

Tent
tent poles
tent stakes
ground cloth
guide lines
tent stake hammer
tent rain fly
tent repair kit
cot
sleeping pad/thermorest
sleeping bag
pillow
screened-in room
screen room poles
screen room stakes
repair kit
table cloth
table cloth clips
clothes line
first aid kit
extra blankets
extra rope
extra stakes
dutch oven
charcoal
lighter fluid
waterproof matches
lighter
grill
lamp
propane bottles
propane lamp mantles
cooler
water buffalo
kitchen utinsels for prep work/cooking
plates
silverware
bowls
drinking cup/mug
coffee pot
wash basin
dish soap
OFF!!!!
citranela candles
flashlights
extra light bulbs
extra batteries
shovel
hatchet
pocket knife

Yes, that is my SHORT list. Took me 5 mintues. Now if you wanted to be creative or is space is a problem, there are some items that can serve more than one purpose. That list also doesn't include whatever personal items you need, like toleteries, clothing, raincoats, etc, etc. I wouldn't necissarily bring all of that to WDW, but for any other campout I would definatly make sure I have at the very least that list. Please feel free to add to it, or if anyone has any questions please ask.

For Ft. Wilderness you can add

40ft Outdoor Extension Cord
Power Strip
Alarm Clock
Cell Phone Charger
Fan
Short Water Hose for Cooking Water (I wouldn't use the hose they supply)
Laundry Detergent
Dryer Sheets
Toiletries for EACH person
Small Rug
Rubbermaid Bin for Shoes Outside Tent

I would take off the hatchet as chopping on anything is not allowed at Ft. Wilderness.

The shovel could actually come in handy in case of huge rain storm where routing of water from the sand pad might be necessary. (Happened to a Guy in December 2002.

Sure can tell the difference between tenters and trailers...

My main concern is that the blender is in perfect working condition and I have plenty of margarita makings.

You may as well mark off anything that burns a flame as well since the only fire you can have at your site is a charcoal fire in the grill.

Cable if you need it
bikes/helmets
smores fixins

plus the above items already listed

Open flame, that is. I have not heard of them fussing about propane stoves and/or lanterns.

However, tiki torches, fire pits, and the large citronella candles have all been stopped by Ft. Wilderness staff.

I didn't even think of these. I prefer charcoal cooking and I always use battery op'd lanterns because I'm afraid of catching fire!!!

Coffee maker & tea kettle

folding chairs
George Foreman Grill
crock pot (good for baking potatoes and corn on the cob!)
wooden drying rack
clear poly plastic for covering the picnic table & supplies
first aid kit
quarters for the laundry

We went once and someone brought the griddle to make pancakes for breakfast. I wish we had thought of that...and it will be on our list the next time we go :)
