Our A/C went out on Friday and it will be wednesday before the part comes in to fix it. At lest it's still under warrenty. The high tomorrow is only going to be in the mid eighties which is ten degrees cooler than it has been since friday. The question is should I dip into the Disney fund to get a hotel room for tonight and tomorrow or just tough it out?

Sorry. :(

Don't need it here in Chicago this week. Absolutely beautiful.. Cool, sunny and a nice breeze during the day. Actually got very cool last night...was a bit chilly this morning.

Come stay over at my house. I have a couple guest bedrooms! :Pinkbounc

Sure don't need it here either.
Cold, rainy, miserable day...high 60º....I'm afraid summer is over! :(

newmousecateer, Thanks for the offer but it would be a long commute to south Mississippi for work.

I would tough it out.

I have fans, and A/C, and we get so cold with the A/C, we don't bother putting in on unless it is over 95 degrees.

We are so used to heat it really doesn't bother us.

Take a shower before bed, and think of all the money you are savign... the hotel room would be a character breakfast, or one night at the room, etc.

I had never had air conditioning until I had bought my own house at age 24.

LOL, I cannot sleep with it so hot. I vote for hotel.

It would depend on how humid it was. I'd probably try to stick it out and hope the fans worked well enough. I'd probably also sleep downstairs where it is a tad bit cooler too. Good luck!
