A busy night for DIS meet calls

Earlier this evening, I got a call from helenabear (Elaine) out at a rather quickly assembled DIS meet in Columbus. Doctor P was going to be there on business and asked to see if a meet could happen. One did. And they got together tonight for a nice dinner/DIS meet. I got a call and was able to talk to Elaine, her DH, coqui (Luis), Dr P (Mike), bobcat (Lisa), Mickey Nut 50 (Sherrie), her hubby, and her DS scuba_mickey (Grant). All sounded like they were doing great, pictures to follow later tonight or tomorrow was the promise.

Later tonight, I was able to talk to the West Coast crowd, enjoying the day at DL. I talked with MaryJo, her son Nick, TheLionKing (Dave), Barb (for Real), DumboOrBust (Dayna), poopie (Raechel) and Tink33 (Lesley). They were enjoying their dinner at the Hook's Pointe restaurant, at the Disneyland Hotel. Then they were going to head back to the park for the 10:30 show of Fantasmic!

Always nice talking to DIS'ers!!!

Cool Dan! I've always been scared to death when that phone gets passed around at DIS meets and I talk to people I have never met! But, you know, they've all been so nice! Well, Robin RS and I screamed in delight in each other's ears, but other than that... LOL

Just have to wave to Lesley. She is not around enough and always so thoughtful! Hi Tink33!

What a busy man you are tonight Dan It was great to talk to you at the meet and where I used to be scared to have that phone passed around, I don't think I am so much anymore. I'm just glad no one got a pic of me talking to December99 (Chris) in one hand while holding my phone with you on the line with my other Come to think of it, I didn't manage to get into any pics tonight

Glad to hear that the west coast crowd was having a good dinner as well

The Towncrier phone was with Mrs. Towncrier on Castaway Cay yesterday (without Towncrier), so I was unable to participate in the massive phone-a-thon. Her phone doesn't have quite the range as mine. Sounds like October 5th was a big day for DISmeets.

Don't forget that there's a DISmeet in Mentor (Ohio) today with goofymom/pop and all the NE Ohio pin-heads. Sounds like they are going to have quite a group there as well. Don't be surprised if your phone rings again today Dan.

Brenda, I was mortified when Dan handed the phone to me to leave a message on your answering machine last year! Phone DIS meets or in-person DIS meets...major anxiety attacks.

Mare, Your call made my day! Thanks for overcoming! LOL Dan just does that...passes that phone like its nothing. Of course, had he not, I wouldn't have gotten to hear from you, Marie, Snoopy, LisaTX, TLK, Teri, MaryJo, etc. & a bunch from IL. I always walk around the house with the phone pacing & talking (Sweating too probably!) Once, I talked to someone who didn't have a clue who I was & I didn't know them either!
Oh, and Marsha (Mackey) --she talks funny!
