I also got the 6-8 week notice . There was a pending charge on there until today...now it is gone. I think HP can only put a pending charge on your CC for a certain amount of time and then put the pending charge back on your CC to make sure the funds are still available. The only place I can find my order is here https://h20497.www2.hp.com/os/public.tcl I put the PO # and Web Order# which are the same number and the purchase order date for me was Aug. 21

My order was last updated on the 19th and had a shipment date of the 20th (which didn't happen) and delivery date for the 23.

lol like i said before, leave it alone.... unless you see weird things on your card, let the authorization ride so that you will eventually get your order shipped.

Do you still see pending charges on your CC from HP? The pending charges come and go on my CC. Did you order a 16 or 32GB? I ordered a 16 GB and I'm pretty sure my TP will be one of the ones shipped when HP receives more TP.

HP's status link is not updated at all. Part of my order has been shipped (and received too). I have rec'd 4 32gigs but I am still waiting for 2 16gigs. I have do not have any pending charges on my cc. I did have pending charges for the incorrect total of all 6 touchpads on and off until they shipped out my partial order. The day they shipped out the order, they did a credit pending, which I had never in my life seen before. Then later that day they did an actual charge for the correct amount for the 4 they shipped. They have yet to send me an updated email on the 2 I am still waiting for. The original order does indeed show that I ordered a total of 6, 4-32 gigs and 2-16gigs. So HP does know that I am still waiting. I would imagine that when they are in stock and ready to ship, I will get the email just as I did with the others, stating that they are going out. I would also imagine that they will charge my credit card then. I think they do periodically do a pending charge on your cc to see if it is still active. I did also get an invoice in the mail for the portion of the order that I did receive. It states it is not a bill and not to pay it. It does show what was charged on my credit card.

If you ordered from ONSale thru Amazon on Aug 21 and were canceled you can go to site and put in your Amazon cancel number and get a second chance to order a 32gb for 149 only one and one time use

Just my luck, I didn't save my old emails once it was cancelled. I wonder if I can find it through Amazon.com

(Luckily, I emailed Amazon about removing the pending charges from my cc & I saved their response which had my order # in it.)
It would only let me order one even though my original order that was cancelled was for 2 but that's ok.

I do have an order number. At one time I was able to pull up an order on their website, but have not been able to for several weeks. When I have tried to call I get the long holds etc. My cc suggested changing my card number since I guess they can keep putting "pending" holds for as long as they want. I just wondered if this was happening to anyone else.

I have been getting them for weeks on my cc, and then they are gone. I did get an order number from HP and a guarantee that I would get one. I will just wait and see what happens. I don't get why the pending charge so often, oh well.
