$99 HP Touchpad

I can get to through the checkout process, but the unfortunate part is I somehow ended up with 3 in my cart and since I only want one I'm trying to remove 2 - but the site errors every time I try to do it...

I went back to the HP site to see what would happen and the same thing happened to me. So I'm not sure if one out of the three in my cart was the one I originally tried to order. No emails so far and I can't see if the charges went thru on my CC because their site is down for maintence.

We ordered one last night about 8:30 and we received a comfirmation e-mail 5:30 this morning. I was even able to check the order status from the comfirmation e-mail which says estimated delivery date is the 25th. I will keep checking to see a tracking #.

Heads up I just ordered one of the Best Buy website. Though they are not shipping to stores anymore (at least in my area) they are priced at $99......plus shipping $8.99 BUT THEY STILL ARE IN STOCK as of 5 min ago

I just ordered 2 from Best Buy. It would only let me put one of each kind in the cart so I ordered a 16GB and a 32GB. I was able to get free shipping to store.

ETA: I just checked my confirmation e-mail and it says "Confirming store inventory at (location). Estimated pickup date: 8/21/11." My store doesn't open until 11:00 today. Hope I'm able to get it!

I was able to snag one from Best Buy and one from HP. Of course they are both the 32GB. I got my confirmation from Best Buy but not from HP just yet.

I want to give one to my dd as a Christmas gift and the other, I am not sure just yet.

How do you know know none is available in stores? Does it check inventory?

Dh & I were going to leave soon to sit outside the store til it opens at 11, just in case my online order is out of stock. Dh is not very confident in my confirmation #. He feels their website was so hammered last night, it may have let me buy without having it in stock.

We were thinking it can't hurt. Best Buy's return policy for tablets is 14 days with no restocking fee. As long as we don't open them, we shouldn't have a problem.

I won't believe our hp.com order went through until we get a shipping confirmation & tracking #.

Double check their return policy from Best Buy--on the product description page, the statement from Best Buy says they won't accept any returns on the clearance HP tablets.

I really can't see you having a problem with finding a family member or friend buying it off of you if you're lucky enough to score both times though! Good luck!

I was able to get it on best buy this morning. I tried to get the $99 one and that sold out as I was checking out, so I was able to score the 32gb I went right back on to buy another one for my mom for christmas and it was sold out

I ordered one from Best Buy about 20 minutes ago and now I see it shows out of stock (I had mine shipped since shipping was free). I can google HP Touchpad though and go to the shopping link and it shows in stock at a Best Buy about 30 minutes from me.....so I don't know what will happen. I really hope it doesn't get cancelled. I used Paypal to check out, so they already charged my card.

The small business site now only has the 32GB tablet available. The home side of HP now has a link to notify you when it becomes available. I know someone posted about a twitter comment that the small business inventory was a glitch, but I'm not so sure. If it was a glitch, why are they still selling the 32GB today, but know the 16GB is sold out? They clearly were aware of the situation and if the website was selling product that wasn't there they would have shut it down instead of spending so many hours fighting to keep it up.
