90% off Target Christmas Today!

LOL! I love the Target Mafia...I guess that I am a member too since we have been casing the joint out since Tuesday. The manager unlocked the door this morning...as he has every morning this week...and said have fun! The other three people who I always meet there for clearance days & I went to four different areas to grab stuff, then met up in the back. The Disney cuddles cosmetic sets were ringing up at 90% though nothing was marked. We found many "stashes" around the store & had a really good time filling up our carts.

I watched a younger guy go through the store moving items to "find" his stashes....he had 2 carts stuffed full of stuff I haven't seen since before it went to 75%! I followed him and he spend 20 minutes doing this! How he remembered where everything was I don't know. One of the employees said they normally will find "stashed" items and return them to the clearance area.
My store was mostly cleaned out. I got several kid's make up sets, a Barbie for .99 and just misc. wrap, tissue paper and garlands. I really wanted some of the stuff in the guy's chart....I would have bought some of it at 75%!

I don't do Xmas, but I went looking for bargains. Both stores I went to were 90% off. I got a maroon tablecloth for 1.99, I figure for that price, it can cover my dining room table!!! I got the cuties makeup up the other day for .74, which was 75% off, there would have been none left today for the 90%, so I am glad I got that the other day. I have it stashed for bday party goody bags!! Both stores still had 30% off toys, on had only 30%, the other one was mixed. They had the red leapster for 44 somthing, which made it 50% off. I wish it was 75%, I will keep checking. I was able to grab some one a day calenders for .79 each!! Oh, and one store still had a Batman Leapster game for 6.22, where the other store had it for full price of 24.99!! Go figure!

I felt like I made a 'run for my money' this morning!! I spent $19.00 and had 6 BIG sack fulls. I got one of the phots boxs w/ an A on it for my secret sister (her last name is Allen) for only .99 cents. I got alot of gift bags for .09 - .12 cents. BUT, MY best fns was the Rubbermaid Take Alongs!!! I have been keeping my eye on them sice after Christmas ...... they were with all the rubbermaid stuff ..... not the Christmas items. I scanned them last week and it was still full price ..... not even 50 or 75% off ever. Well, this morning when I went I went right over to the rubbermaid stuff and they still had 4 sets (4 in each one) of the 5 cups ones in red and 3 chip and dip carriers - in green (they is 4 sections in it plus a lid - - I will use it when I give out cookies next year). Anyway, the containers were ringing up at 2.99 and the C&D carriers were ringing up at 3.99. I put them ALL in my cart and I thought the worst thing they could tell me was 'sorry, no discounts'. When I went to check out I put those items up first and when she scanned the first one (and it came up regular price) I asked her if they were not 90% off. She checked w/ the manager and she looked at them and said, "well, there is a picture of candycanes on there ........ go ahead and take 90% off for her'. I WAS SO EXCITED!!!! I am going to wash the containers out and put them in my cabinet now and throw away ALL my crazy butter bowls that I use to store stuff in!!
The funniest part was the woman behind me in the checkout saw and heard what was going on and she asked me where are those things at? I looked at her and told her sorry, but I took them all!!
That was a Target trip that was worth the drive!!

Summerrluvv, thanks so much for posting the sale. I just got back with 6 bags full of stuff including 3 sets of stocking holders(1 Santa and 2 Joy). Everything came to $14.44!

I had to spend last night at my parents (DF is in a wheelchair and is sick this week) to help my DM. I didn't get to Target until 9 and figured everything would be gone. I was wrong. Somehow, they came up with more stuff than had been there on Wed. The only thing I missed that I would have really liked was a red tree skirt (I got green), a Marrakesh throw (I saw one woman had a dozen of them in her cart), and a leather-like ottoman that was on an end-cap per the lucky woman who found it. I got two carts full for $36. I wish I hadn't bought some of the paper at 75%, since I like the rolls I got at 90% just as well, but I am totally stocked up now. I did get four of the $30 topiaries with the green glazeware pots. I don't know if I like the topiaries that much (they have lead a hard life, it appears), but the pots were worth the $3, easy.

I bought a bunch of those gourmet popcorns at .99 each. Now I am sorry, because I ate almost half of the container last night and I feel sick! I also got a tin of candy coated snack mix, chocolate covered pretzels, and two small cappachino mixes. I would've saved an extra 1.50 had I gone this AM instead of yesterday, but I bet I would've bought a whole lot more!

I had a feeling stuff went 90% today, because when I pulled into the parking lot two Target employees brought out cart-fulls of stuff. As I was waiting in line to return something other ladies had cart fulls.. I picked up a few things bows, ribbon, wrapping paper.. Too bad diapers don't have snowflakes on the package, so I could get those 90% off.. Ha ha!

When I went at 8:15 am, they still had the 75% signs up. I scanned 1 item and it rang up 90% off, so I started putting stuff in my cart.

various holiday necklaces, pins, earrings (my DDs give these as gifts to their friends for Xmas next year)
christmas card holder shaped like a reindeer
men's 3 piece PJ set in blue with blue plaid shorts and pants

3 infant Santa outfits

3 car care kits with the To/From on the box - these come with free poker chips and cards (The Target cashier was really impressed with these!!)

No other hidden stuff. I had to rush through as I was going to be late to work.

I was debating whether to go or not this morning....I'm so glad I did, I had so much fun. I hit two Targets and left with 5 bags at $24 each store. Wierd coincidence? One of my favorite finds was Christmas music CD's for .59c!! Everyone's getting music next year!! Lot's of other great deals!! Worth the trip for me!! Happy! Happy!

I called our this morning and they said it was 75%. My friend called and got the same thing. I went for lunch and it was 90%. Ours was pretty much picked over. I got

1 dark red angora stocking with rhinestones - 3.99 (reg was 39.99! Who would pay $40 for this, I have no idea)

a set of the take along tuperware like containers - 2.78, not 90%
Christmas cards - 0.49
They had a Santa Claus is Coming to Town DVD, but it still showed full price. I wasn't going to pay 12.99 for it.

I ended up with 3 bags full of stuff and it was 17.00! Not too bad. I should have taken a break and went this morning, I knew I shouldn't have listed to that dumb guy on the phone when he said they were still 75%.

My Target was pretty wel picked over, but I got some Hershey's kisses, 4 wooden picture frames, 1 metal initial frame, and a silver garland for $3.19. I also saw a box I liked but it had no price and the cashier insisted it was not 90% off so I left it (after waiting 30 min for them to price check and no one could figure out the price. )

I so lucked out this morning. I only ran to Target to get snacks for my son's class,
but one hour later, was still there with a full cart of 90% off stuff. Beaded chargers for 1.50 and a total score - a topiary 52" outside lighted deer for $6.99. Wow!

They said anything with a snowflake was 90%, but the cute little Christmas candy canes didn't get me the discount. Darn!
Oh well... picked up a few other things at really good prices so it was worth the trip anyway.

Oh wow!! What a deal today!! I bought a 7 1/2' Christmas tree - regularly $170 for $17!!! I was so excited. I wanted another tree for another room in the house. DH was ticked when I brought another home until I told him what it cost. Also got 4 of the Christopher Radko pins $1 each, 10 boxes of icicles for a whopping total of $0.04 each (even the cashier did a double take at the cash register). Got two big beautiful bows, two Santa Claus hats, bag of Snickers (okay, they weren't 90% off, but they were only $1.08), and three boxes of ornament hooks - all for a grand total of $26 (that includes the tree). The cashier was cracking up laughing!

I'm glad I bought everything I really wanted when it was 75% off though because none of that stuff was there today. I bought about 20 boxes of ornaments then and tons of garland.

I'm so ready for Christmas next year!! Just hope the new house is finally going to be done by then!!
