Earning My Ears

Each morning (except one) we had breakfast in the room from supplies we had stocked up on at Publix the day before (which I forgot to included in my report). We opted not to do a character breakfast only because we were doing a 7 day cruise after WDW, but later wished we had as the one on the cruise was not very good.
We wake up Friday and it is DS choice of activities since it is his 12th birthday. We did Blizzard Beach, applying sunscreen every 2 hours. We got to BB as they were opening, and I realized I forgot DS 6 proplugs for his ears (he has tubes and proplugs are the only ear plugs I have found that 100% keep the water out). DH goes back to the hotel to get them.....the joys of staying on sights!!! We meet up later and have a great day. We leave about 2:30, shower and to MGM for dinner at the SCi-FI. Arrive at the park, hit ToT, waited about 5 minutes. Came out and it was really blowing with dark skies. Stood outside the gift shop and decided we should put on our rain ponchos. About 2 minutes later it started pouring. If it hadn't been DS birthday with PS, I would have just given up on getting to the other side of the park for dinner. However, we slowly made our way in the rain via running and gift shops. It took us about an hour, we were completely soaked, but had a nice time at dinner. DSs loved it. They brought out cake, had DS stand up and everyone wish him a happy birthday. Afterwards, it was clear, we did Indiana Jones and then headed back to the PO.
Woke up Saturday and hit Epcot. Did TT right away, were going to get FP, but line was short, only waited about 10 minutes. Both DSs decided not to do it. Then did spaceship earth and headed to World Showcase as they opened. Had beaver tails in Canada. Saw the world showcase players and I was selected to be 'Roxanne'. Ate lunch at Teppanyaki with 2 pm PS. Saw the rest of World showcase, then left back to the hotel for a swim and light snack for dinner.
