We booked in April and our last name begins with L. The only thing I can think of is that maybe because Disney Debbie and I are not too far from FL, maybe they got here a day earlier. Ours also came straight from DCL. I know some people's are sent to their TA first and then to them.

Don't sweat it! I'm sure they'll be there tomorrow!

We didn't book as early as you! I really don't remember - but it was this last spring. Ours came straight from DCL as well via UPS. I know UPS can pretty much get anything next day if it's from one state over. So yours will probably be there next week.

Just wanted to say HI to everyone! Just booked the 9/4 cruise, spur of the moment! We actually booked 3 nights at Disney and decided to do the cruise instead. This will be our first cruise and I am a little nervous as I do get motion sickness! I guess I'll be heading to the doctor this week!! My DH is very excited, it is our anniversary and his birthday! And we thought we would surprise our DD-4! I have added our names to your list, if it is not to late! Can't wait!!!

We will be on our first cruise too! We bought a few packages of Bonine for motion sickness. I can handle the tea cup rides in MK so I think I'll be okay.
Remember, if possible, to wear or bring your lime green Mickey heads so we can recognize you!

OH MY GOODNESS! Yes we are sailing on 9/9, guess it was a slip of the finger. What and where do I get these lime green Micky hats? Does the bomine make you sleepy? I do not go on the tea cup ride, so do you think I'm making a mistake? Oh well I'm really doing this for my DD, I'm hoping she has a great time! Can't wait!

The lime green mickey heads some get from Home Depot. I don't have any place like that around here so I have to make mine home made. It is basically a Mickey head that is well, lime green.

We bought the non-drowsy formula Bonine. I have never actually tried them but so many people from this board suggest them I figured they will work. Just be careful when you buy them and make sure it says non-drowsy on the package, we almost bought the regular kind. I don't know about you but after dropping thousands of dollars, I don't want to sleep through the cruise.

I would ask the doctor about your little girl too. I don't know if Bonine can be given to such a little person. She probably will be fine but it can't hurt to have something just in case.

I'm not sure is there's an easier way to check, but I go to the DCL website and act like I want to book. You can choose the category cabin you want, and it will pull up what's available if you pick "Select a specific stateroom". Last time I checked, I think there was 1 cat 9 available, and only GTY for cat 7 - but those are just ones I happened to look at.

The lime green Mickey heads are actually paint color samples from Home Depot. It's the Berh Disney line of paint and you can pick up free lime green cards that are Mickey shaped. I got some today and printed our info on them, cut them out, and laminated them. They make cute bag tags!

As for excursion, we have a 3 y.o. DD, and we are going to do the Blackbeard's Cay (or something like that!) in Nassau. It's basically a beach day and you have a chance to feed the stingrays, whcih DD is looking forward to! At Castaway Cay, I think we might rent bikes, but we're just going to take it easy and relax!

Two more weeks and we'll be sailing!

Oh, man! Can't wait until Monday to get those documents! I agree that will make it seem real. I went online last night and stared at my reservation....it wasn't the same!

Two weeks from right now we will be........on our way to the airport. We are flying in on Sat., spending the night and driving over Sunday morning.

We got our green mickey heads from Home Depot yesterday. DH actually went over after I mentioned something about needing to get a couple. It is getting close now!

rjeash, I noticed all was quiet on the weather and figured no news was good news!

Just called Home Depot and they weren't sure what I was talking about....so can you give me a little more description of the lime green Mickey heads?

They are in the paint department. Home Depot carries a Behr Paint Disney line. Go to the paint dept as if you are looking for paint colors and you will see a Disney section. (Ours had "DISNEY" in big letters above). There are about 150 different color samples. The color samples are on small cards (like credit card size/shape) and the paint sample color is on a Mickey head on that card. I got the alien green (and a few other for scrapbooking). They are free, but I guess its nice to be a little discreet about taking 10 free paint samples, especially since you're probably NOT going to buy lime green paint!

I printed our info on ours, cut out 2, stuck them back to back and laminated them. I put a home in it and tied a ribbon - voila! - bag tag!

The other saide has my name, address, phone number.

They are kinda anti-climatic. I expected that when I opened the envelope some confetti or some Mickey Mouse march music would start playing! .

LOL...right there with you. I WAS Ralphie in A Christmas Story, complete with the "sonofa..." when I realized there wasn't something more earth-shattering in the envelope. It could not have been more spartan. A ticket and bag tags that we won't use. Whoopee. Oh well, it DOES reinforce the realization that it's almost time.

Question, though it's probably in my docs somewhere, what time can we begin embarking and what time do we disembark?

Also, I've heard that parasailing is canceled, but I've yet to be contacted by DCL. Do they call everyone who had reservations?

They called me so that I had a chance to get another excursion. They also said that they were calling people and deleting the reservation on the computer at the same time so people wouldn't be charged for the excursion by mistake.
I would call them and check that they took your name off the computer so you won't be charged. Nothing like being charged for something you didn't do.

Well we decided to take a chance and upgrade to a category 7 GTY. We knew we would be happy with a cat 7, and there was always a chance of an upgrade. Well a few minutes later, I checked the DCL website, and we were upgraded to a cat 6! Pretty good deal for $140 extra!

I'm ready to go!
