Hi everyone,

We've just made reservations for this cruise and can't wait for September! There are four of us traveling . . . my parents, myself and my son. As a first-time Disney cruiser, I'm finding the information shared on this thread to be invaluable.

We'd like to join the roll call and participate in the FE.

I've requested membership on the Facebook page, so I would imagine I'll join you all there shortly. The trip is a combined wedding anniversary and birthday celebration, but the birthday is at the end of September and the anniversary is at the end of October. I assumed people only celebrated events that coincide with the dates of their actual cruise. Is that not right?

Oh, and I probably should have included my dad:

Just booked our 2nd Disney cruise. Haven't told the kids yet. They will be SOOOO excited! Traveling with my husband, 3 kiddos, and my mom.

My fiance (DF) and I will be honeymooning during this cruise. We're super excited! I've cruised DCL before, but it's a first for my hubby-to-be. Although we do not want to participate in FE this time around, I wanted to join this thread anyway. Wow, so many DISers on this cruise!

I created a Disneymooning magnet for our door. DF still cannot believe how popular door decorating is on DCL. I'm thinking of creating a magnetic paper sheet with an attached pen that says "Leave us a message!", in the hopes that other cruisers who walk by will leave us a little note. It will be our little honeymoon "guestbook" of sorts, a cute little addition to our wedding guestbook. Anyone think this would work? Has anyone tried it before? DF thinks not, but I told him not to underestimate the power of DIS cruisers!

I wanted to be sure everyone knew about our meet and great for our upcoming cruise. We have been able to reserve the D-Lounge from 2:30 - 3:30 on Saturday Sept 7th (Sail Away Day) just before the Muster Drill. We have a large group of people who have been planning and preparing virtually now it is time to come and meet in person. This is VERY casual and nothing planned. We will distribute our group wristbands at this time, if you have not already received them.

Looking forward to meeting everyone in 50 DAYS!!!!!!!

I hope we are in time for the meet and greet. My last cruise we did not arrive until quite late. They were closing the door behind us and it was a DCL pick up from WDW.

I look forward to meeting everyone. I'm not a member of facebook so I have no idea what the chat is over there.
