Ask away! That trip fell to hell and back, but I'm not upset about it! I get all kinds of offers for cheap trips (travel agent trips). Let me know where and if I get one, I'll let you know.

I'll go anywhere -- I do prefer nothing really cold since I would have to buy a coat & winter clothes. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I looked and United has all kinds of flights from Texas that honors the kids fly free promo.

I always just think of AA! I don't know that I've ever flown United... ;) I'll have to check what's going out of DFW.

I just talked to a Disney Rep at the Cruise line. He said if one of the new ships goes to the West coast, that it will have to go around the tip of S. America. That is the one I want on!!!

That would be too cool!!!!

Don't you figure there will be one new & one old on each coast?

Keep me in mind too!!! Have bags, willing to travel!!!:thumbsup2 :

You know if you want to get away from the cold it is in the low 80's this week here........

I could so see Samantha being a graceful, beautiiful dancer. Had she ever taken toes or ballet lessons???:

This was her 10th year of Ballet (she was en pointe), she's had a couple of years of Modern & when she was little she had 2 yrs of tap -- and she hated every minute of tap. :rotfl:
She had to drop Ballet a couple of months ago (the end of Dec) because of her scoliosis. Besides back pain it also causes knee problems in dancers. She's had to have an MRI and she wore a knee brace for a while. She was really hoping to work through the pain but, since she had already decided in Sept that Ballet was going to be *just fun* (but, it was 3 days a week!!!) she didn't want to be in constant pain.

Katherine was my dd that loved tap and jazz! She took those through most of High School.

Claire took tap/ballet last year and told me she hated ballet is was too quiet. :lmao: She's just like Katherine!!!

Yes, We want our own thread!!!:

Let's wait just a few more months -- I want to wait it until it's really the poeple going. Does that sound mean? It's not meant to be.

Ask Jon if he made enough money for me to go too???:rotfl: :rotfl2:

I'll let him know. ;)

Hi Cheryl,
Catching up on all the tv I dvr'd. Watching AI now. I think the rejects were what I thought so far. I don't know but I thought the boys were pretty bad. The girls were great for the most part.
Too much going on , on the other thread. Got back from all the Drs visits today. He got a warning from Dr and they upped his meds (sugar and hbp) but the good news is the hole in his head is still there:rotfl2:
Like the Dr said "this is a good thing".
Oh here they go, eliminating another one

We've been at rehearsals everynight for the past 3 weeks and Ihaven't been abel to watch AI! UUUGGGHHH!!!!!!!

The kids and i love watching and voting! The first season our oldest knew one of the contestants. She made it to the top 5 -- I think. Nickie (sp?)w/pink steaked hair? A girl.

Is your dh the one with the hole int he head? I hope all of his meds get worked out, soon!

You know one of these days I might surprise you.:cheer2:

I forgot about her scoliosis!! Old age is setting in. She such grace the way she presents herself. Take that as a compliment Samantha.
:flower3:

No, but I do understand.

I'll let him know. ;)

Yes please do this. I am requesting the Walt Suite since I have seen the Roy already.:rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I just read that the new ship would never go aroung the tip of S. America as the water are too rough. Again, does Dinseny know what Disney is doing???:rotfl2:

Gonna finish up here and hit the bed.It was a long day today. Each visit was early and on time so we got to eat bkfast before he saw the ortho to get his shots. My daughter did me a favor as well and kept the kids in after care this week. But then dropped a hint she may? need me Sat. There is no may in her vocabulary:rotfl2:
It's a given we will be watching them.
I'm also slowly catching up on all my emails.NIte

Nothing like grnad children especially when you can see them at their own house or talk to them by phone. :thumbsup2 The hardest thing to be a grandmother is to say no to babysitting all the time.

hey Cheryl, I thought you were going shopping:thumbsup2

Hi Arlene, :welcome:

Hey guys. what is all this talk about a NEW ship :confused3 Disney has squashed so many rumours that they were building a new ship, it's hard to believe it could be true. :yay:

Why would the ship go all the way around S.A, instead of just cutting through the Panama? If it's a looooong trip I'm up for it.

I out did myself again. I just have so much fun buying clothes for
the DGS and DGD. I bought $44.00 3 piece outfits like Osh Gosh, etc. for $5 and $6. Shirts one even by Polo for $2.00.

Next week we are going to check out Kohls. today we went to Carson Piere Scott which I think is more local. It is similar to Macy's.

Dh thinks I should spend money on myself but I get a kick out of seeing them wear the clothes. Of course they both wear Mickey and Minnie!!!!:rotfl2:

TWO new ships!!!! AND they are going to be much larger then the current ships --- still not sure how I feel about that...... They won't fit through the PC....

I think they will put one new & one old on each coast BUT, I would really like to see one of the older ones sail out of Galveston..... :lmao:

Cheryl,

I was at the theater last night and I will be there from 8:30 to 3pm today...... BUT, I may get a chance to talk to you today!!!! :yay: :yay:

There's a young man (age 7), that is irratating beyond belief, and Ihave promised Elvis that I will always be there to *save* him from that boy ---- Elvis will tell you that one of hte problems is that I told him to be polite to the boy (not nice but, not rude) and now the boy thinks him & ELvis are friends!!!!!!! :scared1:
This boy is always poking the other kids, messing with their hair, etc... and telling them that he is smarter then they are because his mom says he reads at a 5th grade level (it must be a very slow 5th grader --- I've heard him read!). This boy has an *extra* part as one of Elvis's subjects. ;)

If any of you are the praying sort.....
My 21 yr old nephew, his infant daughter and his 6 yr old sister were on their way home (from dropping my sister off at the airport for a business trip) and someone ran a stop sign.
They (the person that hit them) must have been speeding.....the girls are fine but, my nephew has a broken hip, broken ribs and internal bleeding. I believe he is in surgery now.

My husband was just now (in the last couple of minutes) able to get hold of my sister. Her husband is at the hospital now.

Oh Stephanie how awful.:sad2: Of course I do pray and God does answer(not always the way I want). I will make sure they are included.

I just talked to Jon for a few and made him laugh last night. He probably thinks(I know) I am crazy:crazy:

Its not that I like to talk or anything.:rotfl: :rotfl2:

I am really sorry to hear this. Praying everything turns out fine.
Sending Pixie Dust his way pixiedust:

Thank y'all so much for all the prayers.
Here's a little bit of an update am leaving for Austin in a few moments and will know more tonight.

The person that hit him ran a stoplight going 60 mph......

He was knocked out and was careflighted to the hospital -- my 6yr niece is the one that gave the emergency workers everyone's name and phone numbers!!!! The 6yr & the infant are fine and just had to ride in the ambulance to the hospital. :-)

They woke him up late last night but, he is still *out of it*. My dad said he seemed responsive to questions.

The surgery was 3hrs -- his stomach was pushed up into his chest cavity and collapsed a lung. Both hips are broken.

My BIL said his wife is hysterical. My sister finally got into town around midnight or so --- the reason her 6yr old wasn't in the back on the driver's side is that is where she put her luggage. Thank GOD. Otherwise she may have been killed.
