Hi everyone.

Regarding free dining (Disney Dining Plan) David has asked me to reply on this one !!

We had to book to stay at a selected Disney resort from the value, moderate, or deluxe hotels. We also had to book a park ticket each. From this, we will get a snack, counter service meal and a table service meal for each night of our stay.

The offer was from August to the end of October - it might be different if you book through Disney as we booked with Virgin Holidays.

It works out at about $2500 worth of food for 14 nights for the four of us, a lot of food. You can use the meals in any combination such as 2 counter service meals 1 table service meal and several snacks in one day if you wanted, but you must use up all your credits by the last night by midnight.

Perhaps if you gave Disney a call they could send some details. It seems like a great plan. Hope this helps a bit

Thanks Helen. See it is painless to post. You provided great information. I will call Disney and see. We did not book our rooms yet but have our plane tickets.

I was just too crazy with the DCL to worry about this years vacation. I am more excited about the Cruise. WDW seems minor now. Its like I can not wait for it to be 2008.

It is addictive!!! Just ask your mother. Just do not pick up my horrble spelling or typing. I almost flunked typing because I think and read way faster than what I type. My mind is way ahead of my hands. My DH says I have no mind anyway.

It may not be officially released yet. But, my TA told me the info is already on their website (the one for TA's).

DO you not us a TA either??????? You met so many nice ones on the cruise...CALL one of them!!!! NOW!!!!!!!!!! Our TA has found better prices for us then what is available booking through Disney.

Things are so messed up with trying to get the wedding planned, etc..... And now we've found out that Confirmation for Samantha is supposed to be Oct of 2008!!!! Samantha & I both thought it was going to be in late Spring this year or first part of summer......

Samantha is a *citizen of Narnia*. At first she was extremely disappointed -- she had a GREAT audition (I saw all the auditions) -- but, then she found out that she was cast in that part because the director needed strong dancers in that scene.
After watching all the auditions we (Samantha & I) both thought she would be cast as the nurse. The nurse only has a couple of lines BUT, she does at least get to speak.....
Since she is so tall we know that it limits the available roles.

Tell Elvis and Samantha I am very proud of them!!!! I think it takes a lot of guts to even get up on stage. I am probably prejudice but I think they both deserve theLEAD ROLES. Both children will be taller than me in September. Don't forget I am shrinking from old age.

Morning everyone !!

Virgin Holidays is a UK based travel company that is part of the massive Virgin group - in he States you will be familiar with Virgin Megastore (New York, Downtown Disney to name but two), Virgin Mobile Phones (cellphones), Virgin Atlantic. Headed-up by Sir Richard Branson who I'm proud to say, we met in 2001 at the Royal Albert Hall. A clear memory I have is that Alex went ahead of us and Sir Richard was concerned that this little 8 year old was on his own - he was actually within sight of me all the time. He's a VERY wealthy man who is also totally unasuming. He also operates Virgin Trains in the UK which run from London to Scotland along the west coast of the UK.
For the ladies here he also has Virgin Cosmetics (and Virgin Brides) which Helen uses and until she was ill was a consultant for them. The cosmetics are a very high quality and can compare with Clinique.
I've just found out that although Virgin Holidays don't exist in the States, Sir Richard has recently started Virgin Vacations. For more information take a look at http://www.virgin-vacations.com

Everytime we go to the USA we have either booked with Virgin Holidays or if we are using our Flying Club points, we use Virgin Atlantic.

Anyway, enough of Virgin.

Congratulations to Samantha and Elvis on their parts. I've only had to audition once for a part and then I ended up playing opposite Helen (we were Mr Snow and Carrie in Carousel - and "No" we do not intend having seven children ). On the last night we got engaged and it was announced to the audience by the producer.

Fortunately, it's something that has never bothered me. I prefer to sing on stage than act and in Hello Dolly (my first show) I was actually known to dance a Polka. Helen is the dancer (qualified to teach old-time). I turned down the offer at the age of 24 to complete my classic training in singing as I had too many other life-events on the go at the time.

My preference is public-speaking and at the age of 17 I took a qualification for public-speaking. It became useful later as I was the youngest-ever elected councillor where we lived in South Wales. I represented 18,000 people in the local council. I regularly attended political party conferences around the country speaking on various issues to over 6000 delegates.

Although still a member of the Labour Party, I gave up holding office and positions so I could devote more time to my home-life.

My attitude was that I'm still young enough to return in 10-15 years.

Fortunately Alex and Bethan are both confident and are more than happy to get-up and give-it-a-go. It's not for everyone.
