Too cool!!!!

I just wanted to tell you Carolyn and Ales will not be on the Panama Cruise.
They wrote back they will be on the Mexican cruise during the day of July 3oth.(my Birthday.) That is the official day DCL is ten years old. I know we are all disappointed without them.

Have yall ever had to do something that makes even a root canal look good?! Well today I had to do just that. It was announced today that a company from Japan is going to be building a plant here in town. The governor and all the big wigs from the state were in town to make the announcement. Now usually this is my mothers thing. Me, I run and run hard. Now I don't run for many things at all and you can tell it. But try to get me to attend a meeting that I have to dress up for and yeah, I'm going to RUN! I can think of several different doctors I would rather visit than to sit through such things. Ok, your getting the point.

But my mother had surgery last week and couldn't attend this meeting, so guess who it was pushed on?! ME! I thought about hiding under the seat and slapping at anyone who reached for me. I tried the, but I don't have anything to wear excuse and got the eye roll. I decided if I was going to have to go, then I was going to go comfortable. Tee! Hee!! So I dressed up in my "meeting" outfit, but I tossed the dress shoes and went with tennis shoes instead. But wouldn't you know it when the news crew at the meeting flashed by me, it was the ONE thing my mother picked up on! So I got busted for wearing my tennis shoes.

So I dressed up in my "meeting" outfit, but I tossed the dress shoes and went with tennis shoes instead. But wouldn't you know it when the news crew at the meeting flashed by me, it was the ONE thing my mother picked up on! So I got busted for wearing my tennis shoes.

I love my tennis shoes. I do not own a pair of heels anymore. I buy dress flats but wore my dress slippers on formal night on the cruise. When I wear sandels , that is dressy enough for me.

I live with 3 Libras. I am not sure what that means also DGD is a libra. All I know is I like to be in control of things.

You lost weight last cruise. John and I gained 6 pounds each. I can not imagine how much I will gain in 15 days.

I have to lose again. I always put on 10 pound holiday weight. Even though no cruise this year, I want to wear my summer clothes. I hear there was a new diet pill the government approved yeasterday. Heard anything about it???

Well we are going on the WB Panama. I really wish we were cruising with you all. Matt was dissappointed he doesn't already know anyone on our cruise. I told him he will get to know all new people. We are going to be at WDW from May5-13 is anyone else is going to be there we would love to see you.

Now for the big news!!! Matt and I bought our first house!!!! Well we don't close on it until March 26. It is less than 5 minutes from our apt. and the minute I walked in I knew I wanted it. It has a nice backyard for the dogs and plenty of room for all our "stuff", us, and the cats. I will post pictures when I get them.

You may already know some people on the WB! Sandy (jiminyC_fan) has reservations for that cruise -- I think her dd does, also! They told me they had lots of fun with the two of you on the 10 nt! They were both excited when I told them that y'all were planning on the WB!!!

Just got back from my movie checking. Norbit was terrible!!!! Should be more R rated than PG 13. I love Eddie Murphy but not in this movie. It was a little funny but very vulgar in parts. That's my opinion for this week!! I will do more movies tomorrow. I have to get that cruise money coming!!!!

Elvis and I are going to a preview of Bridge to Terabithia this morning. I forgot to tell him! LOL! He's going to wonder why I'm waking him up in a few minutes.

I want to get there early enough to make sure we have seats! LOL! I meant to have him read the book this week and then with rehearsals & stuff .... I forgot! Tomorrow is Elvis's b-day so, I thought we would do *fun* stuff this weekend!
Jon had to work today - they alternate Saturdays. So, today is going to have to be a Mom and son day. Claire will be happy since that will mean her and *best buddy* will be hanging out together!

We had a great time at the movie this morning. If y'all go see the movie bring plenty of tissue! Elvis & I were both boo hooing!!!! My head still hurts from crying. Afterwards he and I went out to eat BBQ for lunch.

A little tidbit about the city we live in -- it is in the top 15 fattest cities in America according to Men's Fitness magazine.
Their criteria is number of fitness clubs vs number of resturants.... We have a huge number of resturants -- unfortunately most are chains!

Hey yall!!

Karen, Give it a few weeks and keep trying back. A LOT of people book on the first day and then for different reason's they have to back out.

We haven't given up totally on this, but it sure doesn't look good for us. We are considering the westbound because at least they have space available on it.
