Okay here is the scoop!! I called Castawat Club and got on at 7:02 am. Cast wayclub said it was a one minute wait.!!!!!! That was sooo funny!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Over 100 minutes later I was still on hold!!!!

I made John call the regular number for DCL on the cell. He got on at 7:25 am. We had both phones going, His was answered firstabout 8:40 am. We made our reservations, for a catagory 5 two adults.I got insurance but I was told mo ground transfers.I was told I did not get the first tier of pricing. I paid $7308. That was with the 10% and I have got $200 in shipboard credit. :cheer2: :woohoo:

How did everyone else do???

Similar to us!!

I was on the DCL number and got through first with a 146 minute wait but got through after 35 mins.

Helen was on the CC number and was given a waiting time of 116 minutes and never got through.

We both tried for over 90 minutes before we even got to the answerphone message.

Excellent news for you and John - just watch this space for who else from the 10 Night Southern will be with us.

David

Is the cruise booked up already? DCL site says choose another cruise.:sad::sad::sad:

You know what happened to the Med cruise.:rotfl2: Give it awhile til things calm down. It is sold out for now but people have extra reservations because of TA and people booked themselves. Keep checking all the time.:surfweb:

We would all like you to be on the Repo with us.

Ok, I won't give up hope yet. Thanks Cheryl :flower3:

Do you not have a travel agent????? ACK!!!! Call your TA! If you don't have one I know SEVERAL good ones!!!!!

There are rooms available -- I know that for a fact!

We are in a Cat 4 for now -- our TA is calling first thing Sunday morning to see if a CAT 3 is available. ALOT of people put a free 3 day hold on the cruises and then when it is time to put done the deposit they change their minds. ;)

You WILL be able to cruise with us!!!! :goodvibes pixiedust: pixiedust:

FYI -- in case any of you don't know this yet.... There will be FREE dining this Sept!!!!!!!

I know David already has free dining (it was offered to them earlier) but, it is opened for everyone now!

Gotta run to Church (youth group) and then CALL BACKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Samantha is feeling confident about tonight -- part of it is the dance auditions!!! A piece of cake for her! :thumbsup2

Keep your fingers and toes crossed.... rumor has it that Elvis is up for the role of young Prince Caspian........ EEKKK!!!!!!!!!! A LEAD!!!!!!!!

We gave up on TA's many years ago ... no offense intended Linda, Chris, and Amy. I just love to get in and plan it all myself. I must have been a TA in another life:rotfl2:

Thanks for the pixie dust. When I told Ed (on the phone) that you guys were going on the Eastbound he said "oh cool, I get to cruise with Elvis". The people at work cracked up wondering if he was going on a ghost ship :lmao:

Thanks for the heads up on the free dining. It sure would be nice to have that next year too, as we will probably head to the parks after the cruise.popcorn::

When my daughter was in classes at 7, she was trying out for her beginner badge from the Red Cross. I was watching from a balcony. She was in 12 feet of water and the instructors forgot about her.I am screaming from the balcony she is going to drown. :rolleyes1 Anyway, she even got an intermediate badge out of it because she treaded water for over five mintues. I guess when you have to swim, it all kicks in. She ended up to be a very good swimmer.:rotfl2:
!!!

:scared1: NOT what a mama wants to see!

I hope you are feeling better soon!!!!

What free dining???

The last two years Disney has offered the dining plan free for certain dates (Sept). You had to stay on property & buy at least a 1 day ticket per person. With 4 of us considered *adults* for the didning plan it would save us a bundle! LOL!

We still have 5 days left on our Park Hoppers so, we would probably only buy the min tickets to qualify.

Keep us informed. I will know real stars!!!!:woohoo:

We'll find out on Friday after 3pm.

Samantha was disappointed last night -- the director had them all do more cold readings (which she doesn't mind because she does pretty well at them) BUT, they ran out of time for and dance auditions.....

This director has known Samantha for about 9 or 10 yrs so, she already knows Samantha can dance. But, Samantha wanted a chance to *shine*. kwim?

Elvis has *it* when he is on stage. We discovered that the first time he stepped on stage for an audition at 5. That was Wizard of Oz and he got a role as one of the Lollipop Guild members and a flying monkey. He was the youngest cast member --- you were supposed to be 7 to audition but, he went up to the director and asked if it would be alright if he auditioned.

I have only let my children audition for shows at this one children's theater. But, Samantha told me last year that I was going to have to start letting Brian audition at other theaters....... We have quite a few community theaters in our area.

You must be so proud of them. I will keep everything crossed for them. As big of a mouth as I have, I could never perform on stage. The only time I ever did was ON the DCL stages.

Still no room number. :confused3 I just do not want a solid balcony in the front of the ship.:crazy2:

Oh, I'm sorry you had a bad experience!

LOL!!! Elvis was talking about your dh the other day!!!

It really would be fun to get to spend a day or two in Disneyland and then a few days in WDW.

So do you call to make reservations and they tell you about the free dining.
Where did you read it???
I have 15 days of park hopping and so does John. I guess we could add another day each. I bought tickets when I was a CM and before they switched with the thump print, My tickets are all park hopper with no expiration.

Let me know who to call or read the info about the dining option. Sounds like a plan. Where are you staying and what are the dates.:confused3 You know I am getting old.:rotfl2: Thanks.

Will you be happy in a Cat. 4 ? I just want a clear view balcony.

Hello people!

I'll try to see where I read about this years... And my TA told me about it this past week.....

Me. Yes. Jon .... maybe. ;) He really prefers for us to have 2 bathrooms. We know we will get a Cat 3 soon. There is no way that everyone that put a hold on a room is actually going to put money down! And we know from past experience that even those that put money down change their dates. ;)

I imagine on Sunday morning there will be quite a few rooms available. :thumbsup2
