:faint: Hey, stranger!!! How have y'all been????

Our lives got so crazy after the cruise, and don't show much sign of slowing down any time soon. We are going to book the eastbound repo cruise and are so psyched for it :dance3: thanks for the info.

Cheryl: I am working during the day now, (have to support our disney cruise habit) but I still have your phone# and love the funnies you email me. We are excited to cruise with you again and are trying to convince our other Disney friends to come along with us.

Think I'll go over to the weight loss thread ... eighteen months is a good amount of time to get in shape for the cruise :jumping1:

Steph, You have 5 kids! You can't do ANYTHING on short notice!! We sailed on the Jan 29th sailing of the Wonder.

LOL! That is probably it! :rotfl2: And Jon only gets himself ready! LOL!

I don't know lets see this is how it would be. I return on March 29th from Ireland. Leave Apirl 15th for Scotland, return on the 20th, Leave for a weekend in Atlanta on the 30th. Sleep in May?? :scared1: .

I'm too old for that! But, you are nice and young! :thumbsup2

Thanks, Mama said it's just a bug. He was so upset that he missed his basketball game and the circus.

I'm glad he's better but, kids do NOT like missing out! LOL!

Here are some pictures I took of our Nov cruise. Check out the waves, I have NEVER experianced anything like that before.

Congratulations!!!!! How exciting!!!!

Wasn't it the last night that we ran into each other near the kdis club?

LOL! I had lost 10lbs on the 10nt --- wish it would have stayed gone! LOL!!!!

I am sick. I caught my DGD cold. I feeel miserable with earaches too. I have to get my strength for the phones tomorrow. I think John decided to take a sick day tomorrow to call on the cell phone. We only have 180 minutes left so I am hoping it will not take longer.

Amy, Wow those were big waves!!! My stomache feels the waves just looking at them.:rotfl2:

David, are you still planning on taking off and calling. Do you use a toll free number??? Just curious.

Stephanie, tell Smamantha I am soooooooooo excited too.!!!!! Are you going to try for a reservation tomorrow?? What cat. are you looking for????

Con grats on the baby. WOW. He is huge. I am so happy for you and bless your family.

Going to do a little looking and then rest.

Everyone post if you got your ressie.

Cheryl

I have just got home from work (it's 19:30 here) and the plans for tomorrow are as follows: (remember five-hour time difference)

05:30 Get up
06:00 Leave home
06:45 Arrive in work
08:30 Meet staff as they arrive and pass picket-line
10:00 Office opens to public (Late opening on a Wednesday)
11:50 Leave work (whatever happens)
12:50 Arrive home (longer journey due to roadworks)
12:58 Start dialling DCL
13:05 Hopefully get answered

When we ring the number we put the 001(for USA) in front of the 800 number. We then get a message telling us the call is NOT toll-free. From what I've seen when Alex has phoned Steph's DD the cost is about 4p per minute - that's approx 8 cents a minute.

As I've stated before, we're hoping for a Cat 4 but will settle for a Cat 6 - I've GOT TO have a balcony / verandah. When I was bed-bound on the 10 day Southern for two days I went stir-crazy. Helen will be on one land-line and I'll be on the other.

I'll be on-line at the same time to check the prices whilst we're waiting.

Best of luck to everyone and I hope you get what you want. Someone has posted elsewhere that all the Cats 1 - 3 have already been allocated

David, Just got up from laying down all day. I still feel horrible. Your schedule is too funny!!!!!

Disney upgraded us on our first cruise from a 8 Cat(how stupid was I to be in the front of the boat with seas of 18 feet) to a Cat 5 deck 7 right in the middle of the boat. We got spoiled with the balcony. I would settle for a 5 or 6 this time around.:rotfl2:

My John is definitely taking off work. He says he needs to have a break but I still think he wants to be home for trying to get a room.

I hope we will all be on the boards by 8:30 am EST.:cloud9: and all get what we want.:woohoo:

Stephanie, tell Smamantha I am soooooooooo excited too.!!!!! Are you going to try for a reservation tomorrow?? What cat. are you looking for????

Our TA is calling first thing tomorrow. We would like a suite but, we will take a 4 if we need to! LOL!
Our TA was told that suites will not be available tomorrow..... BUT, she is calling anyway!!! ;)

I don't want to split us into 2 seperate rooms -- that means dh & I would have to each take a room with one or two children. I don't want to spend 2 wks in a room without Jon!!!!! LOL!
Neither one of us want our children to be in a room without one of us. If we had a grandma or someone that could come with us that would be different.

Just an fyi -- when we booked the 10nt we were only able to get a Cat 3 at first.... our TA called everyday until we got a Cat 2.... then she called until we got a Cat 1....
This far in advance people's plans change and they have to reschedule. So, I am hopeful that no matter what Cat we are able to book tomorrow by the time August 2008 comes around I will be in a suite... ;)

Good luck for tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!pixiedust: pixiedust:

I won't be able to post until mid to late afternoon....... We are gone all day on Weds. :)
But, as soon as I can I'll post!!!!!

In a little bit we leave for Claire's first swimming lesson! She has been excited since we signed her up last week. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We are hoping when we get there that there will be room for Elvis in one of the other classes.

Elvis & Samantha had round one of auditons for Prince Caspian (sp?) last night. Cold readings tonight and then dance auditions tomorrow night!!!!

This is where we went Monday afternoon --

That is grat for Claire. :thumbsup2 When my daughter was in classes at 7, she was trying out for her beginner badge from the Red Cross. I was watching from a balcony. She was in 12 feet of water and the instructors forgot about her.I am screaming from the balcony she is going to drown. :rolleyes1 Anyway, she even got an intermediate badge out of it because she treaded water for over five mintues. I guess when you have to swim, it all kicks in. She ended up to be a very good swimmer.:rotfl2:
Tell Elvis and Samantha to break a leg. I think that is what you say in show business to wish someone luck.:confused3

Going back to bed again!!!

I'm quite aprehensive about getting home before 1:00pm as there are two lots of major roadworks between Norwich (where I work) and Cromer (where I live). The threat of divorce is fuelling me along tomorrow though !!!!!

David

David... Isee that you're online.... And I see on the Disney Cruise site that they have Cat 4's available!!!!! YEA! for y'all!

BUT....I need to speak to someone to transfer the December 2007 reservation so I can't book on-line.

David

We're there, we've done it, we're booked !!!!!!!!!!!!! :yay:  :yay:

I couldn't get a specific room but I've got a Cat 4 guaranteed.

Yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2: :dance3: party: :jumping1:

David

Okay here is the scoop!! I called Castawat Club and got on at 7:02 am. Cast wayclub said it was a one minute wait.!!!!!! That was sooo funny!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Over 100 minutes later I was still on hold!!!!

I made John call the regular number for DCL on the cell. He got on at 7:25 am. We had both phones going, His was answered firstabout 8:40 am. We made our reservations, for a catagory 5 two adults.I got insurance but I was told mo ground transfers.I was told I did not get the first tier of pricing. I paid $7308. That was with the 10% and I have got $200 in shipboard credit. :cheer2: :woohoo:

How did everyone else do???
