Quick Question... is everyone wearing Lime Green on Boarding Day? :thumbsup2 :smokin: :bounce: ::yes:: :crazy2:  :shamrock: :jumping1: :tilt: :jumping2: :yoda: :hmghost:

I don't have any thing in that color. It kind of makes me look sick.
Not a good look to be boarding a ship :rotfl2:

Come on Carol...
how about slacks or shorts? maybe a hat or scarf? Anything Lime green... a lapel flower, Home Depot Alien Green Mickey Head pinned to you? Nothing?

Where is Stephanie today? :confused3 She has usually posted SEVERAL times by now.

I just got home! :) I've been gone all day with the kids. :teeth: I should be cooking dinner & doing laundry! This is more fun. :rotfl2:

I am the same person IRL that I am here.... I can't keep my mouth shut! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Dh is very shy and rarely talks to anyone he doesn't know -- he will be the one standing off in the corner. :teeth: Unless you want to talk Hockey or are in the Leather business (not finished goods)

15dd talks to NO ONE IRL...... Which is funny because she is a chatter box online! Last year her New Years resolution was to speak to people. :) People are always surprised that she is a Theater girl! She tells me that when you are onstage you are someone else. :)

23dd, 5dd & 8ds are like me. :)

23dd picked up her sister & I shirts in that color about a month ago (she's an asst mananger at an Ann Taylor store). 15dd told us she will NOT wear a shirt that matches us. :confused3 We'll see!
It shoudl be easy to spot us (especially when we are boarding) as dh says *We look like the Beverly Hillbillies* there is7 of us!!!

Steph5... "Dh is very shy and rarely talks to anyone he doesn't know -- he will be the one standing off in the corner. :teeth: "

My Dh is also the one standing off in the corner... but he isn't shy, he just likes to "scan & observe" the area/everyone...:magnify: I like to say that he is always on the lookout for Bin Laden :rotfl:

That cracks me up!!!!

I would say that 15dd is pretty much *scoping out the situation* before talking. :teeth:

Being married to the same person for that many years takes either lots of patience or lots of drinking. :rotfl2:

I'm going to send this to DH! He'll love it!!!! We will celbrate our 27th anniversary soon. :teeth:

Yesterday I went to the movies with my two sisters, my mom and DD to see the World Trade Center. I cried my eyes out!! By the time the movie was over, I had such a headache.

I will not be able to see this movie.... I spent a year having nightmares after watching the towers fall.... It didn't help that I had a newborn at the time. :sad2:

Steph Our wait at Ohare is always 2 hours or more. Our plane does not leave till 7am but I expect to be at airport by by 4am. Car will pick us up at 3:30 am. Now I wish I would have stayed the night before in Orlando.

That's what I'm thinking now, also! LOL! At DFW it isn't the normal wait but, they spend at least an hour typing stuff into their computer while they are deciding if dh can board or not.... :confused3 I'm so jealous of the ohter people that get to check their bags as soon as they get to the counter. :sad2:
We'll be at DFW at 4am that morning and I will think *Cheryl is sitting in Chicago waiting to board, also* :teeth:

"I heard the awful news this morning and my first thought was of yall UK people. Please don't let this stop you from having the time of your life. That is playing into just what they want. They want us to be afraid of traveling and to make us run and hide. The best thing to do with this is show them, your not going to stop us. We aren't afraid of you."

Well said Amlee...

Thank you, if we give in! They win! Let's not let that happen!

Well I hadn't planned on wearing my green on the first day, but that can be fixed.

To quote Popeye "I am what, I am!" Sometimes I can talk your head off other times I'm comfortable to just sit in the corner. But if I have an opinion or a thought on a subject, I don't mind voicing it.

Sally is SHY beyond words. So you will be lucky to get a word out of her at all. She will stand there and smile.

She will get along great with 15dd.... This is her to a T. She has made a real effort on the last 2 cruises to talk to other girls and go to Aloft. She has said that going on the first night makes a BIG difference.

I suggested that to her, she just smiled and shurged her shoulders. So we will see. I don't want her to think she has to be by my side the whole time to take care of me. I want her to get out and explore and make friends. I'm hoping she will break lose just a little on the cruise. She really has had an over sheltered life. Last year when I took her older sister on her cruise she was the same way. By the 3rd day she met up with a girl her age and was hardly ever seen during the cruise. They still keep in touch with each over the net. So I do have that hope for Sally.

So glad to report that DD's principal also agreed to count the days as excused absences. I have been stressing over this since we booked the cruise and Im so glad I can stop now and enjoy planning this vacation.

WOOO HOOO!!

I didn't know that Lime Green was the DisBoards "color". I'm sure to find something in that color....yup, I have a Disney Store t-shirt with Mickey Heads on it, with sparkles no less! Perfect!

Chipper, can't wait to see you and tell you to go sit in the corner.... Elders, schmelders, I'm young at heart. Maybe a little fluffy, but young at heart. LOL!

I've been sewing up a storm and now have decided to go out to Michaels/JoAnn Fabrics and decorate my lovely "fish extenders". Of course, people look at me sideways when I tell them I'm making a "fish extender". They kind of have that look on their face, like, "what?" :rolleyes1

I have to admit, I'm putting my sewing machine, serger and embroidery machine to good use. Haven't used them in months. DH is thrilled.

I'm outgoing, but I do have my shy moments.

To all, have a good night. Stay cool....and remember, we're going cruisin' very soon with the "Mouse"! :wave2:
