Happy anniversary Carol and Jim!

I have not watch tv yet today, so I dont have any idea about the threats yet. But all of you who have to fly to get here, especially those coming from over seas are in my thoughts and prayers. We have friends flying over from England next Saturday.

Yesterday I went to the movies with my two sisters, my mom and DD to see the World Trade Center. I cried my eyes out!! By the time the movie was over, I had such a headache.

I just got a wonderful email from Sue Ellen..

We have been upgraded to a cat 4 (from a 5).

We are now in 8028, right next to the Walt Suite!!

What I meant was that on the boards I am not real talkative (very quiet, don't post alot). When you meet me you will find out that I am the exact opposite of how I appear on the boards.

Steph Our wait at Ohare is always 2 hours or more. Our plane does not leave till 7am but I expect to be at airport by by 4am. Car will pick us up at 3:30 am. Now I wish I would have stayed the night before in Orlando.

Evening all!!

What a day it's been here in the UK. The news has been on most of the day with updates about the alert and from the various airports around the country. It certainly had an effect on travelling but there have still been many flights. It's amazing how resolute we can all be when faced with evil.

Helen has calmed down a little but is nevertheless extremely nervous. We were going to buy some more US$ cash today but decided against it as I will need to be able to carry it on my person on the flight. I have bought a large plastic food saver for my cameras and video camera, batteries, and memory cards and will then have to place them amongst clothes in a case. We will be unable to take on the plane a colouring book for Bethan so it's going to be a long nine hours.

Everything seems to be up in the air and an inconvienience but in exchange for safety and security, it will all be worth it.

Finally many thanks to all you disers for the words of encouragement and hope and for taking the time to send so many PMs, they really are appreciated.

I am glad to see that we are all still able to look forward to our trip. My Aunt's family is visiting from England right now too. I am just glad that they are here safe and will return home that way too. With all the new rules and regulations I will feel safer. It is better to be inconvenieced and know that we are all safe. That is all I will say on the subject.

I did some shopping yesterday. I found lots of stuff on the bargain rack, but it was difficult to find the right color and size. That's what I get for waiting until the last minute. I got some great deals though. I even bought my pillow cases to get signed on the cruise.
