I just read they are moving Atlantis to the launch pad. They say the launch window begins Aug. 27 and lasts until Sept. 13. Maybe we will get lucky and we can see it launch as we sail away.

That would be cool! But, I could live without the traffic.

I thought that is why you need to have at least one computer per person. We converted our breakfastroom into a computer room. That way everyone can be together! Dh and a few of our children are gamers......

Just a quick update.

My ultrasound today showed the blood clot is still there. That is the bad news. The good news is that is has not moved and is still in the same place as last Thursday. They seem to feel it will stay there and slowly dissolve as long as I am a good girl and take my blood thinner. I was told it takes 2 to 3 weeks for everything to heal so everything should be ship shape by the time we cruise.

I would love that!! My DH got to be up at the cape for the launch before this last one. He said it was unbelievable!! We always watch the launches from our back patio.

We are driving up to Cocoa on Wed eve and staying at the Holiday Inn Beach Resort. I know someone else here had posted that they were staying there as well, but I dont remember who.

Hello everyone.

Let's see. I had to read so much and can't remember what to address. Great cake. Carol, follow the dr's orders. Finding out the sex of a baby, yahoo! And welcome to the new.

It is gettng so close! Faster than I want to be honest. I still have to make fish extenders. Just got the gifts today for the extenders but now have to work on those. Then I realized I have to get thinking about shipping a package to the port. And then don't forget to stop the mail and newspaper and the list goes on.

Stephanie, my DH was one of the first that dressed up for pirates night. He got sooooo many stares from passengers but the cast members loved it. He doesn't mind it at all anymore. Hopefully things will change in your household. Make sure that you get the white background pictures that night. They turn out awesome.

Carol: You have to get well soon. Don't want to be on blood thinners on the ship. That means no sail-away drink for you ! My mom sailed with on while finishing up some antibiotics. She couldn't drink for the sail-away party...thought she was going to die ! Thank goodness she finished them the next day!

Dena: Happy Birthday !!! My bday is the 20th. We sure have lots of Leos on this cruise. Let's try not to kill each other . We'll have to take turns being "boss".

Good tip about stopping the mail, Sandy. I had forgotten about that one!

Well, we survive the first 100+ heat wave day. DS said it was 104 at work this evening. I bought him lots of Gatorade, so he made it fine. That's why they have youngsters unloading those trucks...I would have passed out in five minutes!!! Yikes, it's 83 degrees at 12:30 in the morning!

I stayed in the house most of the day, but I did make it to the gym. I finished my fish extender too!!! I really like it. I'll take a photo and post it tomorrow.

I couldn't sleep, so I thought I'd check in here to see what was going on. My DS turns 6 today, Aug.1. Does that make him a Leo, too? I guess I never thought about his sign, before. I know my DD12 is a Taurus, stubborn as a bull!

Speaking of my kids, they both know, now, that we are going on a cruise and a short trip to WDW. They start school 3 weeks from today. They have 9 days of school, then off to WDW & DCL!!!!

I was really jealous of all the Dillard's bargains I was reading about, 'cause we don't have one around here. But then, I went to JC Penney's over the week-end and found a "prom" dress for DD for...

...$8.98!!!!!!!

Of coarse, I think she is WAY too young to be able to wear a prom dress. After all, she just turned 12 in May. So what if she wears a size 3 Jr, or a size 11 shoe. Yes, a womens size 11 shoe!! Just promise me if you meet her, don't look at her feet, she'll know I've been talking!

Well, my hubby's up getting ready for work so, I better go for now.
