party: :jumping1: :bday: Happy Birthday Shelby.

From John & Cheryl

and since Cheryl hogs the computer everynight, and not at home today, I want to wish her a :bday: Sunday.

From your loving husband.

Go to Wan's Website to enter your excursions

website.http://www.miramont.com/disneywonder/

I made a slight suggestion and Wan ran with it. Send her a pm stating any excursions booked with DCL. This way we will all know if any Disboarders are taking the same excursions. It might be fun to know you have instant friends with you. SHE DID AN AWESOME JOB!!!!!!!!!

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2    :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cool1: :cool1:

Carol, I hope all goes well and on Monday you find you had a speedy recovery. Wishing you prayers, hugs and pixie dust pixiedust:

Happy Birthday Shelby!! party:

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. The summer is short so we have to enjoy every minute that we can.

Tomorrow the packing begins!

Hey there Hi there!
This is my first cruise, and my DF's 2nd (his 1st Disney Cruise). We are travelling without children. He has already remarked that DCL doesn't have onboard Casinos.
Does anybody know which of our scheduled stops is on an island with a casino? Does anybody know how to get there since I doubt Disney would list it as one of their "approved excursions"?

Also, I've always wanted to do one of those Dolphin encounters where you swim with and feed dolphins. Anyone know if one of the islands has anything like that?

Thanks for all your help guys. I've been doing a lot of reading and you've all helped me so much already!!! :grouphug:

Welcome aboard.

I'm unable to help with any of your questions but someone will be along soon that can answer you.

Read as much of this thread as possible as there's lots going on!

See you soon

David

Does anyone know what days the shows will play? I am curious to see what days the standards (Hercules, Golden Mickey's and Disney Dreams) play as well as the new shows (Muppets Ahoy!, Disney - The Art of the Story as well as any concerts) will play.

Thanks for the info on the formal nights and the tropical night, we are trying to build our itinerary so we know what to pack...

Hi leira1989,
Welcome to our group! If you have found our website, here is the link. It is full of great information and instructions on how to join in on all the fun we have planned.:)

If you don't have a fish extender or know what one is....I suggest a bit of "lite" reading on our previous post...OK at least a slight glance to catch up.;)

As for your questions, my DSs did the dolphin experience in Cozumel but I thought it was offered on at least on of DCL's excursions (maybe I'm thinking of stingrays?). You also might try shoretrips.com.

A group of the DISers are getting a day pass at Pineapple Beach Resort ,which has slot machines pictured in their photos and a spa. I don't know if they have a full casino, but you could contact them. It sounds like a great day of fun. I will be trying to arrange group transportation for us in a few weeks. Right now I think we have about 20 people going on this un-Disney excursion.

I'm probably forgetting a bunch of things, but I'm sure my fellow DISers will add in other info you should be aware of.

Welcome aboard,
Crystal

Finally had a chance to catch up on all these posts. My girls have been in dance competetions every day since we got here on Tuesday. Yesterday afternoon as I sat by the pool you will never guess what I seen as I looked out on the water there it was.... You guessed it the Wonder sailing away from the nassau port. I was so excited and oh how I wanted to just swim right out to it and jump on. This week has not really been a vacation, early mornings and late practices for the girls. I am so looking forward to rest and relaxation on the cruise.

I don't know exactly where, but I know Antigua has Casinos, and I know St. Lucia does not. I'm sure if you google Antigua casinos it will point you in the right direction.

Darlene,
That's great! I know how you feel about seeing the Wonder...so near, yet so far! Well it won't be long now.

Hope you are having some fun on your weekend.
Have a great time!

We bought some E.Caribbean Dollars and Barbados Dollars yesterday for the ports we're visiting and there was our Queen on the E.Caribbean Dollars - she's everywhere!!!

Not too hot to go to Church but way too hot to go shopping for food :sunny: We're having a heat wave a tropical heat wave....

My daughter-in-law's surprise baby shower went very well. She is going to have a little "Zoe Leigh" princess:. She got so many nice things - carseat, highchair, bouncy seat, changing table, strollers and so many cute girly clothes. The end of this week I am going to start painting the baby's room since all the shower presents are in my upstairs bedroom until I get the room done. She had been sick so I don't want her helping and my son is going to school and working. I think she is really anxious to have the room done so she can look at all the baby's things. Her due date is September 28th and I told her YOU CAN'T GO EARLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you all have a Sunsational Sunday :sunny:. Toodles  JEANNE

Out of curiosity...How many people are going down before the cruise and where are you staying?? :confused3

We are flying in about 1 pm on Wed and staying at the Poly. We were staying at the hyatt, but I really wanted to stay on property and with the room only codes coming out...SueEllen got me a great rate!!

So we will pick up a car at the airport and drop it off at the port on Thursday. I think we may try to hit CM for breakfast on Thursday and head to the port from there. My DH wanted to get to the port really early, but last time we did that and we just sat around for like 2 hours. I think my son would go absolutely crazy!! We are planning (or I am planning) on hitting DTD on Wednesday and doing some shopping for the new baby. We find out (hopefully) what we are having on 8/31. So I can just go shopping and ship it home!!!

Congrats on your pregnancy! Hopefully the baby gives you a good chance to see what he or she is! That makes shopping more fun!

I hope so, too!! We were able to see DS at 16 weeks and my OB, now, does them at 18 weeks and 8/31 is 18 weeks to the day!!

We fly in "just in time" on Thursday. DSs can't miss any more school/work. I wish we could take a few more days. I have free Busch Gardens tickets that I can't even use. Also, we have never been to Blizzard Beach...all the times we've been to WDW:confused3 ! I don't know why we never made it there, but now I'm dying to go! If we do the Med Cruise next year, must hit the "beach".

We are driving up to Cape Canaveral Wednesday and staying at the Radisson.

My DD is celebratilng her 22 birthday on 9/15/06. She is very shy and wasn't sure she wanted anyone to know about it but she really wants a birthday cake on her birthday. I'll have to tell DCL so we can get one on that night.

David's post got me to thinking(dangerous I know).
How many are going to exchange money for the local currency? Everything I have read says they take both their local currency and USD but you have to be sure both parties are talking the same currency when quoting prices.
