How are you all doing in the heat?
It said in this morning's paper that St. Louis is now experiencing a heat wave.
I immediately thought of you and hoped everything is OK for you and yours.

David's post got me to thinking(dangerous I know).
How many are going to exchange money for the local currency? Everything I have read says they take both their local currency and USD but you have to be sure both parties are talking the same currency when quoting prices.

Don't follow me whatever you do! It's just that being British you have to change currency wherever you go so I suppose it's a habbit more than a necessity.

The wedding was fun (5dd made sure every little boy there danced with her! ). The *mini* reunion the next day was even more fun! I always have fun hanging out with my Aunts, Uncles & cousins!
I can't wait for next July when we have our next reunion -- this time in Grand Rapids, MI.

Thank you all so much for the *safe travel* wishes. The ride was uneventful BUT, LONG! LOL!!!! I do have a good car for travel (Expedition) BUT, 11hrs is still 11hrs!

Carol -- I'm glad the surgery was successful and I hope they find that the clots are gone now!

Glad you had a safe trip. My dd6 was the flower girl for my brothers wedding in Maui last Sat and again yesterday for his reception here in Calif. She was dancing away the night also!!

We also have an Expedition and it sure is nice for traveling! (not that any car is fun after 3 hrs in my opinion. LOL)

You have to try Maui like your DH says you will love it!

Funny that you asked about who'll be there early. We originally booked 2 different extended weekends to take advantage of Magic Your Way with Free Dining. I had to cancel one weekend so I'd have enough time off of work for me use for the cruise, but I didn't give up the first weekend.

DF Terry and I will arrive in Orlando late evening on 8/31/06 ($39 Airfare from Pittsburgh on Southwest) and extended our original stay at PC to check out on 9/7/06. With the Cruise we will have 17 days of Disney Fun ahead!!!

Since I just booked this on Friday, I've got lots to do. Finally learned about Fish Extenders and hope I have time to make or find one. Made a Palo's reservation, but can't seem to book a brunch yet. Then there's excursions and the spa to consider, gotta pull together a Pirate Outfit and make sure I have something tropical, shopping for clothes, losing weight for the clothes.......

Thank you for all the help so far. Can't wait to see you there. I'm soooo excited!

And you are right about 3 hrs being the limit! LOL!!!!

Ok, so far. I didn't leave the house today. Dog refused to go outside . It was 99 degrees and tomorrow is going to be hotter ! They say the heat index will be close to 120 all week!!! I'm worried about DS at work. He works for UPS unloading hot trucks. I guess it would be worse if he worked the day shift. We need to stock up on Gatorade.

Welcome back Stephanie, glad you had a great time.

So much going on, I knew I had a lot to comment on and now I can't remember.

My weekend was busy. I left work early on Friday to take a nap because I had not slept since 8pm Thursday night. I slept for 4 hours and then got up to help my friend load up the Uhaul until after midnight. Went to sleep around 2am and then woke up at 8:00am to be up at my friend's new place. We moved everything in and unpacked until 10:00pm. Sunday I cleaned all day and lemon oiled all the wood in my house, along with cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, vacuuming and laundry. After all this hard work this weekend, I am SOOOOO looking forward to laying out at the pool all day on Friday and Saturday even if it is 120 degrees outside in Vegas!!!!!

I am so jealous that you got to see the Wonder...how fun!!!

Steve, my hubby is right. I am a computer hog!!!!!!! He does not admit he is on his all day at work.
