We haven't actually booked yet, but will first thing tomorrow!

We are currently booked for the free dining at WDW in September, but one day I decided to sneak onto the DCL forums here just to see what was up, and after reading the DCL forums we've changed our minds! We've only cruised once before on the Western Magic and that was back in May 2004 and we loved it!

So we'll be cancelling our WDW trip, and booking the 10 night cruise instead tomorrow! (Gotta change those plane ressies too, yikes!$$$)

Looking forward to joining you guys!

Happy Fathers Day to all the DIS Dads.

We just got back from our annual tradition of spending Fathers Day Weekend at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando. Every year my family and my best friend and her family go there from Fri- Sun. And we always go to Ohana on Sat night. It was delicious as usual.

What a fun way to spend Father's Day! I know my dh would love it! LOL!

We've only done 2 of the 3 nt Wonder cruises and on those it is the last night - CC night. But, I do't know what is done on the longer cruises.
My dd is the one in Tourquise pants -- it's abad pic but, in the other pics she is directly behind Mickey. One of the perks of being so short is you get to sit in front.

I have it in my DCL notebook (along wiht all of my ressies for this cruise) but, that is upstairs and I'm lazy right now.

When you can... Steph5... would you mind checking with your DCL notebook... and where do you get a DCL notebook? ... is this something you made for yourself or did you get it from DCL? ...I'm jealous if you did.

Welcome aboard. 10 days in the Southern Caribbean on the Wonder will be better than a week in WDW, afterall, WDW will always be there, this is a first for the Wonder. Alex

Okay another DISigner PM'd my mom, she said if we wanted to use her design she would customize the names for us. Here it is:

I have a porthole design that can be used as a magnet etc. Also have a matching name badge.

The text can be edited to say whatever you want. the DCL logo in the center cannot be moved though.

Of course, the final images do NOT have my travelingal watermark on them.

If you're interested, send me a PM as I don't post on the DISign board. I only look in when someone tells me there's a request I might be able to help with.

Alex...Again, thanks for maintaining the list and the nametags! My brother and his wife (Bill and Ann) are going to be amazed by our group of DISers. Right now, they don't know what to expect, and I think they're a little nervous to meet all of "those crazy online Disney people!" (Of course, they're crazy Disney people, too. They live in Michigan, they have no children and they vacation at Disney at least once per year. )

Hey, we can always use all the designs and make more than one shirt. We did that for the Panama Canal Cruise last August. I think I wound up having 5 different shirts that I still wear.

Hi everyone,

We have a couple of options for the door magnets.

Option 1: I checked on the laminating/printing prices. We could have the 8 1/2 x 11 size laser print (better quality than my home officejet-which is pretty good!) laminated for about 3.00 p/magnet. I will pick up the cost for the magnet strips for the back.

Option 2: Dawn (WeLuvDCL) had another suggestion, that would be cheaper.

Hi Crystal,
I came up with another idea that might save you some money. Instead of having them laminated (which I see a lot of people would like). You could buy a pack of scrapbooking page protectors. You could print the design on 8.5 x 11 paper and place it in the page protector and put the magnets on the back (you will need a least 2 full stirps - I tried to use 4 square piece of magnets on ours and they kept falling off the door). They have different page protectors depending on if it is a landscape or portrait design and they even come in heavy duty. This will keep the paper from getting damaged and they can tape them shut for extra protection and cut off the binder holes if they want. Just a thought. I REALLY wish I was still going on the cruise. I know you will have a blast!

Option 2 would be cheaper, but require a bit more work to tape them in place, trim the binder holes.

Any thoughts on Option 1 v. 2?

Here is a draft of the door magnet with the ship mickey head. We can still use the water head mickey, if we get the designer approval and a higher resolution image. The current one is too blurry when you blow it up.

The draft is scanned at low res so I can get it posted. Also, you can't see the little "sand mickey heads" I used to create a border, but you get the idea!
