I got in and made our Palo brunch reservation for 09-Sept at 11:00, our excursions, and childrens club for our DD - very easy and very straightforward - and no sleep lost!! My sympathies for you who stayed up late in the night.

We have brunch at Palo that morning at 10:30!

This is our 3rd Disney cruise but, our first time eating at Palo. DH & I also realized that we've never eaten lunch anywhere but, pizza & burgers near the pool! LOL! We did eat lunch at CC.
I guess with 10days we should have plenty of time to check out the different places to eat.

At dinner there is a special menu & Pirate bandana at every place setting.

I think there is dancing by the wait staff... and then later that evening (9?) there is a *Pirate IN the Carribean* Dance party w/dessert buffet on Deck 9.

The characters that evening are dressed in Pirate attire. LOTS of fun!

I second Stepht5's request to double check all your info on post #727. I will also use this information for the magnets too.

Since I'm new to this magnet-thing, I welcome everyone's suggestions for design. What info would you like to see on the magnets...usernames, special events (birthdays, anniversary, etc.), any artwork suggestions? Have you seen something on a previous cruise that you would like to incorporate into our design? As I mentioned, I'm taking any and all suggestions! If you would like to submit artwork, send me a PM and I'll give you my email address for attachments.

Stephanie...I'm surprised after 3 DCLs that you haven't discovered the fabulous lunches at PC and Triton's. It's TOO DIE FOR! Let me personally invite you to lunch one day at sea...you pick (except for our Palo brunch days)!

Hey everyone. We will be joining you on this cruise. We were originally booked for the 11 day, but have now had some issues with my DH taking that much time off of work, so I just called two days ago and switched. I am trying to get through reading this thread, but am only up to page 10 Anyway, I am looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Good morning everyone. Finally caught up on my sleep to make it to work today!!! Had a very fun weekend, my niece and nephew turned 1 and my sister threw a great party for them.

I booked Palo Dinner at 6:30 on Sept 10th.

I would love to have lunch with you! I don't know why I have lunch by the pool -- I don't even swim! LOL! I think it is because that is where dh & our 8ds usually are located. The 2 girls are usually with their *clubs* - kids & teen! LOL!

Me too. With the free dining at WDW for 5 days and then all the free food on the cruise for 10 days, I have started to eat less and exercise more so by the time I get on the cruise I can eat whatever I want and hopefully have a better eating habit by then so I don't want all the bad food!!!

Sorry you can't go Angelgurl.....hopefully you can book another cruise soon.

Greetings everyone.

Allow myself to introduce.......myself.

We are Brandy (DW) and Steve (DH). (Brandy will be doing all the talking on these forums).

DH is currently serving in Iraq. We were originally booked on the 11 night Southern Caribbean Cruise. However, we now know the dates he will be assigned for leave when he returns home, and they did not coincide with that cruise. So, a few frantic phone calls later, we are now booked on this wonder-ful cruise with a new group of people. We even got to upgrade from a catagory 11 to a Catagory 9. Looking forward to that!

So, it's nice to be here and I look forward to making new friends. Can anyone fill me in on anything important that's going on? Any events planned? This will be our second Disney Cruise and we love having DISer friends aboard.

Traveling with us will be my parents, who will be swarming this board with posts in no time at all. Be on the lookout. DM is SANDYSPLAYHOUSE. DM=Sandy, DDad=Joe. In another room we have DBrother= Trae with DF=Jennifer. And in ANOTHER room we'll have DF=Davina and her 2 children Mariah (DD) and Derick(DS). Whew!

Again, nice to be joining you and we look forward to meeting you all and hearing about anything going on.

I just thought of another *question* for everyone.

Do you have *early* or *late* seating.

We have late seating. We don't usually eat at home before 7 (Central time). And there is no way that dh wants to have breakfast at 6:30am on the last day. <gg> He won't even be up at 6:30.

We have early seating. My son usually eats on the early side, so I was trying to stick with his schedule. I'm sure there will be time that he is in the kids club for dinner, but I'm sure he'd be fine eating later. I'd just get him a snack. But I would like for him to join us for dinner for the most part and late seating is a bit much for my almost 5 year old!! We had it when he was 2.5 and didn't like it. It was too much for us.

Now I just found out we're pregnant...so early seating works out better for me, too. Just located the form that I have to have my doc fill out for the cruise. I will be about 19.5 weeks when we board

We have early seating...more from force of habit I think. Although We've been eating later at home, I'm trying to break the habit from when I was working for the "King of Beers". Never got home before 7 then. Now that I work at home, I'm trying to get back to earlier dinners. By the cruise we should be eating closer to 6 each day.

We have early seating. It seems to make for more pleasant meals with our children. They tend to get a bit cranky when we eat late in the day.

We just switched to this cruise today, so I'm still reading all the posting... It should take me a couple of days to get filled in on all the goings on... but if I need to sign on for anything, PLEASE don't leave me out... I want in on the pins, magnets, lanyards, nametags, Fish Extenders Scrapbooking anything like that.
