I just got back from my doctor and I have a hair line fracture in my left ankle. So between the walking boot I'm in and my back brace, I look like I've fell apart and been put back together!! I told Doc, to just give me a neck brace and let it be Halloween already!!

I think you should just go as Frankenstein this year

Carol, having a Geek in the family is a great thing to have. :I wish we knew one. These computers are a nightmare for me.

I am so glad that John is OK. I think you are right as long as he is ok the car can be fixed.

My mother has a matching boot from when she broke her leg earlier this summer. I can put that one on my other leg and really be old Frank!!

Long story short, I had to have some meds about 8 years ago, at the time the side effects was a slight weight gain (yeah right! ) But now it's found to cause joint and muscle deterioration. Hence my back and my ankle. I can walk wrong on my ankle and it will fracture.

I just found out my DSIL is an official GEEK! He has gotten a job with Best Buy's GEEK Squad.

Hi everyone!

I got a postcard in the mail today from DCL. They selected me to complete a more in-depth survey on our recent cruise. Did anyone else receive one of these? I don't believe in bashing, but I will be honest about the good and the bad.

Amy--Please try to stop breaking things. These are all vital parts that we all need! Seriously, I hope you feel better soon. Also, I hope your friend is found safe soon.

Cheryl--Glad John was OK. It's amazing how as we age, our perspective becomes clearer.

Stephanie--I really like the photo. We have some really good ones with Jack Sparrow. I would love to use them on our Christmas card, but the formal photo would probably look better.

Kristy--The video is wonderful! Great job and I love your photos!

I know I promised a trip report, but I started working on photos first. I wanted to have them cleaned up and ready to go for the CD. Well I'm going to try to have the report posted by Friday.
Thanks to everyone who shared their photos online. You guys had some much better shots than I did in the restaurants and the Sail Away Party. Chris--I didn't get to do a bridge tour and now they won't be offered anymore. Your photos were great, so at least I could see what it was like.

I have some exciting news. Matt and I have a new family member! We adopted a 10 week old kitten, named Chrissy. We were approved today, so we went to pick her and some supplies up. We applied yesterday and I was so afraid we would not be picked. I will post a pic later (if I can figure out how)

That I could start walking (at which point he then noticed my walking boot) and said I guess not yet. But as soon as I get the boot off, he said I could start walking, and swmming.

Cheryl it was great talking with you. I'm glad John is okay. You are right! Cars can be fixed - it's husband that sometimes can't be fixed easily.

Crystal I'm glad that you liked the bridge tour pictures. DH was suprised that DCL offered that tour. What I want to know is if you are on the treadmills exercising how are they going to stop you from looking into the bridge.

I also received the postcard for the survey. I was very surprised when it came in todays mail.

Oh, I forgot to add...you'll never believe they sent the stretch SUV to pick up just the three of us for the airport! We were so shocked...but VERY nice! I could get use to this.

Chris, that lovely view will go away when the Wonder goes into dry dock this weekend. The good news is, the size of the fitness area will triple...like on the Magic now.

I can't believe it's been just over a week since they kicked us off the ship. I was wandering around the house this morning hungry and there was no buffet to be found. Reluctantly, I ate some cantaloupe that I had to cut up by myself and serve to myself. It just wasn't the same. The pieces were all uneven and ugly, nothing like the ones they prepare on the ship.

Oh well, only 2 more years till the next cruise!

I know we only got to meet briefly but it was nice to see the actual people that went along with the pictures on the board. I booked anything on the ship to get the discount for 2008. I also am hoping for a special itinerary. It will be the ten year anniversary for the Magic.

Will you promise to make a web site up if their is a special cruise. We really loved "our" web site.
