9/7/06 10 night Wonder Southern Caribbean "Cruising in WONDERland!"

Well...it is official......we are booked!!!

Myself, DH and DS 4 (will turn 5 on day 2 of the cruise)....only 245 more days.

Great!!!! Our youngest dd will have just turned 5 in July before the cruise.

WOW!!!! It seems as if we are going to e celebrating a lot of birthdays this trip. That will be sooo exciting for the kids. I know our son will be in heaven, especially since he does not know about the cruise, let alone that he will celebrate his birthday on it. I hope everyone had a good weekend. I filled in for a nurse with the stomach flu twice this weekend so I have not really had a day off completely yet. Oh well, the extra cash will be nice for vacation money.

I hope they post the excursions soon. Then the planning really begins.

We are hoping for good weather on our cruise in Feb so, that 7ds can celebrate his 8th b-day by being in Castaway Cay!!! His 14 sister told him that had to be the coolest b-day plan ever! LOL!

I was thinking that maybe I should start reading about the types of excursions that other cruise lines offer in those ports.... so, that I would at least start getting some type of idea!

I have been so focused on our Sept cruise that I haven['t even finished making all of our plans for our Feb trip to WDW & 3nt Wonder!!! I know, crazy!

That is an excellent idea!!! Why didn't I think of that!!!??!!

That is a great idea. At least then we would know the types of excursions that may be offered. This way we have an idea what we are interested in when Disney does announce the excursions for our trip.

BTW I have been on the phone with my sister who has just made ADR's for her trip to WDW in April. Just hearing her excitement on the phone makes me excited for September to arrive.

It is just raining and raining and raining here......nearly 3 inches today, and that was "supposed" to be the dry day of the week.

Just started scrapbooking an album from our November cruise. We took over 300 pictures. I can't wait to take a bunch in September.

My son almost caught me on the boards. It was a close call. I would not have been able to keep the secret from him. I can't wait until we go to the airport with the kids and surprise them. They are going to be so shocked when they find out they are going on a cruise. My oldest son asked us for a cruise for Christmas. He said he did not want anything else. Won't he be in for a big surprise.

Moisture??? What exactly is rain or snow or any type of moisture? We have 3 major fires burning today from how dry it has been. Isn't it winter? Shouldn't CO be getting snow and be cold.....the high today is 66, what is going on?

I wish we would get some rain if we aren't getting the snow!! I even had to water the lawn yesterday and it is COLORADO and it is JANUARY. How crazy is that?

We have what seems like constant wildfires this past month. We are in the worst drought in 50yrs..... Two of hte fires were within a couple of miles of my house --- too close for me! One small town West of Ft Worth was completely distroyed by fire. Not a single house or business left.....

Speaking of CO. I have some pictures of a wildfire along 70 going West from Denver. I think they were taken 11 or 12 yrs ago.

That's cool!!! I wonder what fire that was? I am afraid of the drought restrictions they are going to put on us this summer due to not having any moisture in the winter. I am hoping for a huge blizzard!!!

So do you think when we go to St. Thomas we will have to get up early to be cleared by customs? Since we don't hit a foreign port before we arrive, I would hope we wouldn't have to go through this process.

Heidi, I sure hope we don't have to go through the process either. It was easy but we had to get up early and I didn't like having to set our alarm for vacation!!

I wonder what fire that was, also. I don't remember one around there. I bet water restrictions will be tight unless we get that huge blizzard again. Last one Heidi and I measured 36". Yikes, that was a lot of snow!!

I know it was one that a bunch of specialized firefighters from out of state ended up dying while fighting it..... So, sad.

I really hope not otherwise Dh is going to be a wee bit testy! His idea of getting up early is about 9am..... And some days he isn't too happy about that. <gg>

Well hello!

This is sailing Sandy, cruising Chris and Robert looking forward to our 5th Disney cruise. Weve been on the 3 day, the 7 day Eastern, the 7 day Western, and the 7 day Eastern (again) on the Halloween cruises , but decided to try a Royal Caribbean. RCI was nice but definitely not Disney . So, obviously, we're back to
Disney. Looking forward to a great 10 day cruise. How many days are left? Robert is eight, but will be nine on the cruise and looking for some to talk to in the meantime. Any takers?
