9/4 now 9/6 Cruise - Where to???

Has anyone heard where we will be stopping now? I know we'll be doing western instead of eastern.

the news and i believe when disney called us said we wou;d probably do a mexico port and maybe the cayman islands

I'm just hoping we can make it down I-95 to get there. When are you leaving - aren't you driving too?
I was thinking Mexico would be a long way since we changed to 5 days, but anywhere is fine with me - I was just thinking about excursions too.

i really wouldnt be surprised if there were no ports or maybe just one. i have never been to the western so i am fine going anywhere. i dont think they will cancel since there is another potential hurrican following and i know these cruises cost a lot of money.

we are already in orlando. we left on thursday and glad we did. my family is in new smyrna beach and will be taking us to the cruise ship. if we do go, it looks like we may drop crew members back at castaway depening on the port.

CRSNDSNY - I really have no idea if you are talking about the cruise and if you are talking about getting down I-95, I'm basically worried about all the traffic - who knows how long it will take.
ganurse - I'm glad you are already there. How's the weather?? It looks pretty bad in West Palm right now. I wish that Frances would get moving and get out.

Hello all... I drove down from NYC left Thurs. morning. I wanted to wait and see what DCL was going to do b4 driving, but still no notification at that time. So I had to start my journey down to FLA. I got the call 1pm, and was already close to NC, I decided to continue down. Here I sit in a Tampa hotel, and wondering if we will even be able to go out on Monday.

I must say Im trying to make the best of everything, but would have loved to wished it all away. This board kept me up to date more than the weather channel ( god I cant stand some of these reporters) and DCL as well.

Here's to hoping this ALL GOES AWAY!

On the other post, Shirley (who is in Cape Caveral) said that the roof beside the Holiday Inn just blew off but other than that, they are still okay.
I guess we'll know more tomorrow - I just finished packing the 4 of us and we're ready to roll tomorrow. I just hope we can. We'll keep our fingers crossed and keep those in Florida in our prayers.

i hope they make some kind of annoucement as many people will begin driving orm flying early in the moring. i know orlando airport is planning on opening at noon and the sanford airport on tuesday
