Hi everyone! Mom and I just finished the FE gifts...except for one of mine that I cant do until Friday :goodvibes
Going to start packing and organizing tomorrow! And do our last minute shopping...seems like we keep forgetting things and I dont want to stop on the way (mimi! :cutie:)!

We finished our magnets today...we laminated them and put the stick magnets on the back. They turned out great and we are so excited to decorate our doors. We got dry erase boards too! So much fun to leave messages on the door!

DH only works 3 more nights before and then he can try and get himself used to being awake during the day! :3dglasses I am off Mon-Thur but work Fri and Sat...so then it is cruise time! WOW! :cool1:

TJ- welcome back! I am so glad you are in good spirits and that your dads memorial went well. Ashes on center field sounds wonderful. Sending more hugs your way!

GOOD MORNING CRUISERS!!!
Our last Monday before we cruise - I believe we can do this and do it in good spirits too! I didn't get as much done as I had wanted this past weekend, but hey, that's okay! It'll all get done.

Yes Kamy, our goal is to not have to stop on the way to the port - especially not for a prescription!!! I know we will need to do some laundry when we get off the ship (though Mack says he'd rather do it on the ship) so stopping afterward would be okay.

Okay- off to work. Hoping to get there a wee bit early this morning to get some grades put in, but we'll see... it is Monday.

Have a great day, Cruisers!!!!

Mimi- My mom says you are hurting her feelings....she is in charge of laundry in this house and wants you to bring yours here after the cruise! :goodvibes
Seriously, there is no need to go to a laundromat...you are welcome here if you want (mom says we use good laundry soap:cutie:)! No pressure!:lmao:

Okay, my week begins....packing, finishing FE stuff, and so on.......

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

You crack me up!!!! You and your mom are so very kind!!!! However, there is no way in the world we would bring our unmentionables to your home to wash - just not going to happen! My husnamd runs on that ship - runs! Do you know what those clothes smell like after he finishes??? Sorry honey, if you are reading this! Let's just say Kamy, I'll be bringing a garbage bag with the odro thing in it to put his running clothes in until we wash them. I love the man, and I love that he takes care of himself by running; but I much prefer his "essence" when he hasn't been running. It's all good - we'll be ready to sit for a while and wait on laundry! Mack says he really wants to do it on the ship, so he can sit by the pool or on deck 4 while the clothes are washing.

I read on a trip report that they took a clip board and paper for people to sign and put messages on it from their dis groups. I thought it was a GREAT idea so I have a very girly polka dot clip board and some cool computer paper that I want everyone to sign and leave messages! "I'm at the Cove" or whatever you want to put. I want to keep it! :D

I am so extremely scared now. It is a mix of excitement to go, fear that I wont get all the FE gifts done, reading horrible articles about girl passengers that have been given too much freedom (I have nixed the idea of giving Victoria self check out privileges now), fear of the rouge waves, fear of the hurricanes that might be close.

Popping back in after what seems like MONTHS away (probably because it HAS been months :scared1:)

Thanks for all the pixie dust sent my way....the job I really wanted in June finally came thru in September & I started on the 7th

I've been super busy between school, kids, and work....so have woefully fallen behind on all internet related-situations, and we are very much looking foward to getting in some rest & relaxation.

Gabe has decided that potty-training is NOT for him, so while I :love:the castmembers at Flounders, we have had to adjust our budges and our expectations since instead of being able to get chunks of time at the club we are severely limted by the availability of hours.

We are arriving in Cocoa Beach sometime after 3 on Friday (decided to work half a day since I'm new and all) and instead of relying on hotel shuttles we are biting the bullet and parking at the terminal. We plan on being there ohhhhhhhh 10ish. lol.

Last year was SO much more organized....I already had all of our clothing packed, all the FEs made (even though I forgot them at home :headache:) had pre-paid our tips and excursion, etc. So far Danny, Gabe & Sarah have gotten their pre-trip haircuts......and I know where the suitcases are..sigh...cant wait to be back on that beautiful boat and watching the sun come up over the horizon.

Everyone have a safe and sane Monday!
SO GLAD TO SEE YOU!!!! Oh gosh! I forgot about my hair! crap! :headache: I need to...well have it done LOL I am so happy you got a job!! and the one you wanted :yay:

Mimi-I just knew you would be able to provide some guidance..... you are the best. I hear by deem you the Fairy God-Mother of Breezin to the Bahamas...:wizard: you have been such a wonderful help and full of good information and tips...... Thank you so much....

I LIKE IT!! I just wish you had come up with this before now!

Hey everyone,

Just got back from my dad's memorial service...are exhausted, worn out but safe and sound in Indy. Still seems surreal that he's gone. It was a fabulous day though...hard one...but he would have loved it! I mean LOVED it!

Dad was an ASA softball player for YEARS (I cut my teeth on the ballfields of southern Indiana) and so many people he used to play with...actually from little league to ASA years were there. I think he also dated every lady that came yesterday.:rotfl: Everytime I turned around someone was saying, "Your dad was my eighth grade boyfriend" or "I dated your dad in..." I finally started the conversations with a handshake and "Did you date my date too?":rotfl2: Made the night easier!

Sidenote on a small "cool" thing that happened...An ASA umpire came and presented all of us kids and grandkids with an official ASA flipping coin to commerate dad. He said he was the best outfielder he had ever seen. He's supposed to be inducted into the Indiana softball Hall of Fame this coming March. Wish he could have seen that happen.:sad1:

So.....a big THANK YOU for the prayers (again) and the well wishes and we can't forget the pixie dust!!!:goodvibes I wouldn't have survived without all of them!:grouphug:

This morning we went to the ballpark and sprinkled dad's ashes smack dab in center field on the field where he most often played. It was SUCH a fitting end to his life...all of his kids, grandkids and ex-wives :rolleyes1 were in attendance! ;) He would have been proud and I felt he was looking down on all of us with his big bright grin saying..."Good job guys!":thumbsup2

Anywho...I cannot believe we are leaving this Saturday!!!! So much to do before then. Pray I remember to pack everything! So excited. See you on Sunday everyone!!!!! Woo hoo!:woohoo:

TJ (oh..and Bill..he really does exist):rotfl:

I am glad you had a beautiful day. It made me think of my Dad's memorial service. While we didnt get the constant "Your dad and I dated...." comments I got the "your dad worked for us and he was the best employee I ever had" The service was probably the most acceptable one for him because he would hate any kind of event that brought him to the center of attention. He even hated his birthday and was very happy that his 3rd grandchild, my niece, was born on his birthday so we could celebrate her instead of him.

Your dad sounds marvelous. Let me know if you want to talk or just cry! I have two shoulders you can use :D

Jen...are you watching your Manning boys? I know you are! We are too! Sure hope Peyton comes out on top tonight! Fingers crossed! But I'm scared after the bloodbath of a game we had last week against the Texans.:rolleyes1

Gotta love all the colleges games in full swing (wow...DENARD ROBINSON...don't even like Michigan but I smell a trophy coming his way????).

And like many of you...we are in the middle of some great high school football games here in central Indiana. My nephew is a class 3A (out of 5) head coach and he's 5-0 right now! He won a state title as a player and we are praying for one this year as a coach. Would be soooo cool!:dance3:

In our little town we have two high schools...only four years ago it was one BIG high school. So yes, the rivalry is BIG. At their faceoff this year we had over 7000 people. It was standing room only...about 5 or 6 deep all around the fence. It was CRAZY! One of the most electric atmospheres I've EVER seen.:scared1:

Okay...I'll shut up!

Love football season!!!!!:thumbsup2

Yeah I saw the game. Eli is my first love. Peyton is awesome except when he plays NY but how often does that happen? More now that they are BROTHERS! Anyway, I can sympathize with Eli. He is the younger brother always in the shadow of the older one. He seems to still let his older brother rattle him. Oh well, I still love him! I would rather loose to the Colts than to the Texans anyway!

I totally get it! The worst thing about this cruise (ok, for me the only bad thing) is missing the NC State vs Ga Tech football game which will be on Saturday while we are driving down. (I am an NC State Grad, my son is a Ga Tech grad). The game is even here in Atlanta but it is a small price to pay for Disney Cruise!

Shouldn't you be able to catch it on a sports channel? Well I guess it would be hard to keep it in tune. You should get that satellite radio thingie. Can you rent them for a week? lol Maybe you can get text updates! :confused3 I dont get too much into college football. I liked last year watching Tebow, Bradford, and McCoy but they are all pro now. No one to watch :( Like I have time to watch

You crack me up!!!! You and your mom are so very kind!!!! However, there is no way in the world we would bring our unmentionables to your home to wash - just not going to happen! My husband runs on that ship - runs! Do you know what those clothes smell like after he finishes??? They smell like sweet fresh strawberries!! Sorry honey, if you are reading this! I don't mean to let everyone know you are so amazing that your sweat smells good! Let's just say Kamy, I'll be putting his running clothes into the same laundry bag with our other dirty clothes so they will all smell good. We probably won't even need to wash them after that! I love the man, and I love that he takes care of himself by running, and I dearly love that he never smells bad at all. It's all good - we'll be ready to sit for a while and wait on laundry! Mack says he really wants to do it on the ship, so he can sit by the pool or on deck 4 while the clothes are washing.

I have edited the above to be more husband friendly, and of course more accurate! :) I Love you tikimimi!

Not much radio coverage for Georgia Tech in south Georgia or Florida. My son says he will send text updates but he will send that Tech is winning even if they are not! :lmao: The game is at Noon and by then we will almost be in Florida where for some reason they play Florida State and the Florida Gators on the radio. :confused3

Oh well, no big deal, I'll find out how much we won by when we get to the Radisson!

Mornin' guys and gals! :goodvibes We leave Thursday a.m. (not too early, of course - so not an early a.m. person unless I am with Mickey and at My Happy Place!). Out of the office tomorrow for work off site, having an out patient procedure Wednesday that Dr. promises (keeping my fingers crossed) will make my hip much less painful so I can walk better, guess today is really my only day in the office and so much to do! eeekkkk:eek:

Can't tell you how excited I am. :surfweb: Actually have most of my stuff packed! That is a first for me. I am usually packing on the way to the airport (or in the airport:lmao:) This must be the most inspiring group I have never met:rotfl2: Believe me, it takes a lot to inspire me :rolleyes1

See you soon!:cool1::dance3:;);):cheer2::cheer2::yay::yay:

Hey all,

Jen I think it was you who asked a few days ago what you needed to print and bring to the port with you, I am not sure if you had already but as FYI you need to Read, Print and sign the Disney Cruise Line Contract and bring it to the port with you.

It is under the forms for the on-line check in for your reservations.
It says-
ONLINE CHECK-IN SIGNATURE FORM

Here is your Online Check-In Signature Form, including the Payment Authorization Summary. Select the "Print" button below to print out this form. You must bring this signed form to the terminal with you at embarkation.

I saw that! I was impressed! I thought "the next time they play will be on Monday night where I will be watching them from NASSAU!!! WOOT!!"

No, they play every week , with their bye week, I think it is the 7 th week of the season.
