I wish we could do a 7day next year but we are already booked on the short one again since my family is going to be at WDW while we were planning to be we are doing the land and sea again hopefully we will be able to do the 7day in 2012.

Hey guys! Jenny, I got an email from Vera Bradley this morning and it made me think of you! All of their hipsters are on sale today for $29...i'm ordering 1 or 2, can't decide. That's almost half off!!

I know what you all mean about the cruise thing...I am going through withdrawl. Maybe i'll be able to go on another one soon, especially if we move and get some good FL resident rates...

i'm getting post cruise withdrawl
plus i've come to the conclusion tonight that i think my car is dying. its been making a wierd noise for the last couple of months, the garage thought it might be the gearbox, but today its been making the most horrific noise when i use the clutch, and for once i didnt feel safe driving it.
think i'm going to have to call it quits and stop using it for the time being until i can figure out what to do. its going to cost probably the best part of $1000 to get it fixed, at what point does it become uneconomical to repair it? its 10 years old and its been good apart from this, but think it might be time to get rid of it. luckily mum said if i need to i can use her car til they get back from spain in october, so i need to sort it all out tomorrow, before i go to london to see bon jovi

If it's going to cost more than a thousand, I would just use that to put toward a new(er) car. My car just hit 100k and I'm hoping it lasts me a couple years. My payments don't end until next year and if it can last me at least another year after that so I don't have to make a car payment, that would be amazing. Lucikly, if anything does go wrong, Kris is a mechanic!

mine was gonna be paid off in Sept and it was gonna need some major repairs very soon i we went ahead and traded it in for a 2007 mazda CX-7 (small Mazda SUV) I LOVE IT!!!! and my car payment only went up $15 which shocked me i thought it would go up more than that. Greg and i are going through major cruise withdrawls.

My car is paid off for the last year! It's SO nice to not have a car payment, and Tim's is paid off to so we have NO car payments!! It does help that he's a mechanic though, so he can keep them in good shape and everything. Since I drive so far to work, my car is 6 years old and has almost 160,000 miles on it!!

When we go to FL in 3 weeks, Tim has 2 job interviews!! Hopefully one will be good, and he will be there before me.

my car's clutch has totally burnt out/disintegrated, so having to pay about $600 to get it fixed. sucks, but i've only been without a car for 3 days and going insane already, public transport sucks.

How far do you drive to work, Mary?? I go about 50 miles roundtrip each day. My car is 6 years old too but only just went over the 100k mark. Good luck to Tim!!!

mine was 6 years old and i only hit the 80k mark and mine was the one we took on all our trips Luckily i only go about 40miles roundtrip to work but when i work with my mom its about 75miles round trip and it feels longer when we are on our way home Greg and i will keep our fingers crossed for tim and his interviews.

I drive about 58 miles -- each way -- every day. It's SO far. I can't wait to move and not have to drive so far to work!! Everyone is always like...I-4 is horrible and blah blah blah -- they should try coming to Chicago for a couple of days and driving on the highways here!! They are ALWAYS backed up, no matter the time of day. Monday and Tuesday this week it took me 2 hours to get here. Some days I just want to pull my hair out!!

On a better note, we are going to Disney for a whole week now!! Before we were just going Wednesday - Sunday. Tim wanted to have the extra time for his interviews, so we wouldn't feel rushed. I really hope he gets one of the jobs, it would be so awesome!! I would be bummed that he gets there first, but at least it gets us one step closer.

What's been up with everyone? We've been so quiet lately.

I know everyone complains about I-4 but I've never hit traffic on that road once. I'm probably jinxing myself. But I really don't think it's as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Try driving the Garden State Parkway everyday up and around NYC. NIGHTMARE! I feel your pain Mary. It took me 90 minutes to get to work today and I only go 26 miles!

Work has been busy for me lately so I haven't been DISing as much. I had 2 bookings for the month of June 2 weeks ago...and now I'm up to 20.

I really hate traffic!! I've been busy studying...I have to retake the last part of my exam in August. Boo!! I think the CPA people just fail everyone to make more money!! If everyone passed, they would lose all those reapplication and retest fees!!

I really can't wait...only 11 more days till disney for me!!

good luck for the interviews and the resit exam, when do you need to resit it?

i've FINALLY got my car back!! a week later and i was losing the will to live with public transport, it sucks! but now got my car back, was still expensive to fix but not as much as i was dreading it to be, and it doesnt make the horrific noise any more. its nice knowing i can get to work tomorrow without relying on gary to get me to the station.

how many interviews is he going for? if he does get one, how long is it before you can get a job down there and move too?
we'll definately be keeping our fingers crossed for tim
