9/24/09 3 Day Wonder - Part 2 - the Goombays just won't die....!

hope everyone had a good 4th of july, we had a really nice day out, off upstairs to pack now, going to spain for a week!! speak to you all when we get back!

Y'all have fun. I just found out that one of the couples that is going to be on our cruise next september has the same anniversary as me and greg and that they will also be on their 2nd wedding anniversary and they are on the same deck as us and in the aft part of the ship kinda cool and kinda weird.

How was everyone's weekend? It was SO hot here! Had a BBQ and spent a day at the beach. Got a little toasted in the sun. My face is a little red!

hi everyone!
got back from spain this morning (3.45am, yuck!) the plane was late, then the freeway was closed, so it took us way longer than it should have done to get home.
had a good time though, but it was soooooo hot, couldnt really go out and do much during the day as it was just too hot to go out. but it was nice to see my parents again and spend some time with them.
got today off, back at work tomorrow, then off thursday as off to london to see penn and teller

Hey everyone! We are in FL right now, it's crazy busy at the parks and hot! Tim got a job yesterday! So, he's moving down here in 3 weeks! I can't move until our house sells, but he will just be staying at his mom's house. He's doing his drug test right now. I can't believe we are actually moving!

yay!! congrats, thats such good news! whereabouts is he going to be working then? then again you're in the same state as disney so thats all that matters! hope your house sells soon so you can move down to be with tim

we'll deffo have to meet up next october, me and lainey are there at the same time anyway, mary will be nearby, so the pressure's on you jenny to come too!

I cant wait til next year neither can greg since we will get to see you and gary and we will get to go on our first family vacation with my mom and them since i was little.

it'll be great to see everyone again will deffo need to meet up for dinner again, it was such good fun last time

If I'm still with Kris, I have a feeling I'm going to be stuck going to Green Bay next October. I may be skipping Disney altogether next year unless I find a great rate on a cruise or I go on a fam. We'll see what happens I guess!

Maybe we can go to Green Bay..and then fly to Disney from there.

yeah do both!! you can make a really big road trip out of it!

We'll see! I need to get this trip paid for first! We've switched everything around to take advantage of extended free dining (big surprise, I know). I'm also thinking of taking a cruise at the end of March/beginning of April. I'd love to do a Disney cruise but NCL has some really great deals sailing right out of NY.

that'd be great, where do they cruise to when they leave NY?

Funnily enough, Port Canaveral! And the Bahamas. Some also go to Bermuda, Canada and New England, and longer cruises go deeper into the Caribbean.

thats a long way to go down!

It's not bad. It takes a day and a half to sail out and back so you get 2 full days at sea and the rest of the time you're docked. Those are usually 7 nights and Bermuda is a 5 night. It's awesome to sail out of NYC because you go under the bridges and right past the statue of liberty.
