No, the after party for those shows is on Saturday. Skipping that one but there may be one for the New York shows.

i've just got back from the shift from hell. 10 hours of a bad combination of public holiday weekend, first day of kids holidays, day after payday, and nowhere near enough staff. i am soooo tired, my feet and my back are killing me, and i stupidly agreed to work tomorrow too. so out of a 3 day weekend, i'm working every single day to give you an idea of how busy it was, in one single hour we took about $3000.
i am soooooooooo tired.
just keeping thinking that in one week i'll be back on the magic and this will all be a bad memory, even if only for one week!

Ugh. Sorry you had to work so much and it was super busy! But at least you have the cruise soon! I'm gonna miss you, I talk to you practically everyday on here!

i've finished work now and not back at work for another 12 days!!

got so much to do tomorrow, cerby's going into kennels so he's going on his holidays too, and i've got a load of washing/ironing/packing to do. then we fly out friday morning!!
i really do hope we all get to cruise together sometime again, the new meet thread is quite lively but nothing like our one. miss you guys
just read your PTR, glad to hear you had such a good weekend, i was working all of it, so was absolutely shattered by the end of the weekend, but off now!

Hey guys!! Karen, have fun on your cruise -- i'm jealous!!

So, I've been thinking that if we move to FL soon, the cruise in January could be a problem with new jobs and all. But, I just found out that the deposit, while non-refundable, can be transferred to another cruise -- SO if we move and can't go in January, I can transfer it to the cruise in October!! So, it won't be such a bummer after all, because it will be a longer cruise AND at least Karen and maybe Jen will be on it!! So, we will have to see. What category did you book Karen? I figure if the Maiden Voyage doesn't work out, which I would be SO bummed about, at least I will be living in FL and be able to probably swing a 3 day cruise with awesome FL resident rates, LOL!!

I'm going to FL this weekend to drive back my Grandma's sister. My Dad and Stepmom always go, but Stepmom's sister has cancer and she has radiation/chemo every day, so she can't leave her alone for that long (her husband died a few years ago). So, I'm excited about FL...not so much about the driving for hours and hours back...but, it should be interesting at least. Aunt Katy is 86 years old and getting very funny in her old age...

yeah the 7 nighter is sounding better every time, it'd be great if you me and jenny can all go (not sure if donna will be going now that bob's passed away).
hope you do get to move to FL, if you cant make the cruise at least we can meet up in WDW

Peer pressure. That's what you girls are doing to me about this 7 nighter. You know me though, most likely I will be there since you already put the idea in my head! And being that's it's during my birthday...why the heck not?

Mary have you ever done the drive from Florida? How long is it for you? It's about 16 hours (if you drive straight) from me!

Karen, I'm guessing 2500 pictures!

It is a LONG drive. Tim's parents refuse to fly (they say they like the drive), so before we were married we always drove with them.

I am SO torn what to do right now. Now i've got this idea of the 7 night cruise on the brain and i'm almost tempted to just switch it. It's 700 cheaper, and they have the 11C available right now...but then I think I would be bummed about the maiden voyage. BUT, i've already done the bahamas thing twice...what do you think? I know Karen's off to her cruise, but Jenny, what would you do? It's 700 cheaper for 3 more days, and better stops that I haven't been to before...and Karen/Gary, and maybe Jenny too!! I just don't know!!

The MV on the dream would be really cool but if it were saving me money plus a longer cruise with places I've never been to before...I would choose the 7 night. New experience, longer time to enjoy the ship, days at sea. You can't really go wrong! The Dream is going to be packed, I'm sure, and you may not get to see everything and it's going to feel rushed. Plus, me and Karen. C'mon now! Decision's made!

Nice! I definitely want to go, it's just a question of who to go with. I can't spring that on Kris yet. We've only been together a couple months and we have a trip coming up this October. I can't start planning something with him thats 16 months away!
