9/24/09 3 Day Wonder - Cruise Meets, and FEs, and Goombays oh my!

LOL!! No relaxing yet -- my next test is Monday!! But it's a great boost going into it, everyone says Audit is the hardest exam, and it is the longest as well, so at least I got that one out of the way!! Plus, it's the one that changes the most often, so if you have to retake it, it's the worst.

After this test Monday, I can take a little break, but I have another test 10/30, and the another (hopefully the last) 11/25. I can't wait to be done!!

good luck mary i know you will do well. well i couldnt have picked a HOTTER day to move it is so freaking hot the AC is doing little good and we have all the fans on i am tempted to go stand in front of the fridge with the doors open to stay cool. i will post some pics of the house with everything in it tonight i will talk to yall later i hope you all have a great day.

well i've been back to the job hunting today after having the weekend off and going up to glasgow. i applied for a couple of travelex jobs (they're foreign currency exchanges), and i've just got a call back about one of them. not bad considering i only applied 3 hours ago! i've got an interview on thursday, which makes it a busy day for me.
i've got an interview at 11am for the local supermarket (i dont really want this one but its money and i need ANY job at the mo), then i've got an interview at 1pm about 40 minutes drive away (i DO want this one, its the travelex one), then i've got to be back at the job centre in southend (40 mins drive back) at 2.45pm for an appointment. its going to be short on time but fingers crossed.
the travelex one is 30 hours a week which isnt as many as i'd like, but its still cool. plus it'd get me in the back door of the travel industry which i really want to get into.

The power is back on here but when I first came in, we had no internet. The service writers computers don't work though so they're stationed in here which means the mechanics are roving around our office. It's weird to see because they usually don't socialize with any of us!

i think i'm going to start putting my FE bags together tomorrow, thursday i'm out all day on job interviews, friday til sunday i'm in theory off up to meet some college friends, and the week after is the week before the holiday so will need to think about starting to pack. so i'm quickly running out of time......

yeah i land in orlando at 7.27pm on the 12th. but we leave for the airport on the 11th so holiday starts then!

Hey guys!! I think I am allergic to the new building or something, I have had a headache since yesterday morning and now i'm all congested. Lots of others are too. My temp started today, he seems nice but not super quick, he gave me this blank stare a couple of times that had me concerned...LOL!!

My new camera shipped today!! I can't wait to get it, i'll be in St. Louis at my sister's and at a meeting for work, maybe i'll get to try it out then, I think her sister in law has a pool!

Karen, good luck with the interviews!! I'm sure they will go well for you, but i'll still keep my fingers crossed!

i bought a dicapac waterproof case for my camera last year, when it turned up i ended up filling the sink with water and taking photos of the faucet just because i could and just so i could test it out!

i've done the map for the FE, its all ready to go out to people but i'm just waiting to hear back from amy (duchessandkittens) about her two room numbers.
i've got donna's, jenny's and lainey's email addresses, if anyone else wants a copy of the map can you let me know your email address? (i've done the map as a word document so the only way to get it round is to email it)
