well i've finally packed. well most of it anyway. i cant do the rest til the last minute, most of the stuff i've still got to pack is gary's stuff that he's got with him and he's not back til tomorrow night.
i cant get over quite how much rubbish i've ended up packing, ie: washing powder, cool bag so we can take beer on the cruise, enough toiletries to last 2 weeks, it all added up really quickly.
normally i dont pack quite so much, but we this is the first trip we've taken where we havent hired a car, so i'm trying to take all the stuff that we need, but would have otherwise have gone out and bought.

i've also finished printing off all the confirmations etc that i need, i've sorted the spending money out, put aside the photopass money for stacy, just loads of little things i've been meaning to do for ages but never got round to.

i think i'm FINALLY ready to go on holiday now!

I can't really do any packing until I get back from my fam! I am going to be doing everything last minute. I do have all my confirmations, documents, etc put aside. There are a bunch of things I need to do today (I have off) and I'm sitting here, b/s-ing on the computer! I should get a move on!

hey everyone how have yall been doing? karen all of the meet times work great for me and greg and we will check everyone in at ohanas since we will be there before all of yall that way we are all set and when yall get there we should be ready to sit down.
Now i am just stressed b/c one of my bridesmaids is flying in from Hawaii and she is using a buddy pass and there seems to be a mass exdous from there for Atlanta and she may not get here til the end of this week and she still has to get ther dress altered other than that i am doing great everything is paid off and now i can just sit back and relax karen while you are at the airport in atlanta i will be at stone mountain eating dinner and watching the laser show have fun at TGIFridays i will talk to yall later have fun packing everyone.

i've heard that if i go to the delta desk after clearing immigration, i might be able to transfer onto an earlier flight, there's 2 earlier ones that we can easily make, but i wont be able to change til i get to atlanta.
i hope i can change, i really want to get to WDW quicker!!

only 1 day til i leave, i've done as much as i can right now, got a little bit more to pack but got to wait til gary gets home before i can do that.
i've also done the other important thing, i've harvested and plowed my farmtown so i dont lose any crops

exactly 2 weeks til we cruise!!!!

I did everything I had to do yesterday. Got an oil change, wash, and new wiper blades for my car so it's all ready for the drive down! I also got a haircut and went to the bank. I don't know if I like the length of my bangs, they're a little too short for my liking. I have them pinned back right now! Hopefully they'll grow a little bit before the trip. I cashed in all my change at the bank. I had $70 worth.

I can't believe it's so close!!!!!

I finalized my DVC add-on today...then went to the Disney Store...cuz, you can't be that close to one and not go, . I picked up two Mickey shirts on the 2 for $20 table...then I applied for the Mom's Panel on the Disney World site. Leaving here at 5 pm, I promised Kelly I would buy her contacts before the trip, so we have to do that today. We have 12 more days before we leave, so I need to get my hair cut and colored, possibly get my nails done...ship my boxes...then I think I am all done and ready to go!

well gary's back now so i need to kick his butt into gear to finish packing, then we're all good to go!! i've put a load of videos onto my mp3 player, so i'm ready if the plane doesnt have backseat tvs, gary's charging his new high amp laptop battery up, so we're ready to go tomorrow!!
donna, i've applied to the mom's panel too, i've read the rules at least half a dozen times and nowhere does it say that you need to have kids. first year they picked all US people, this year they've got a few non US people, so maybe next year they may go for a non-mom!! to be honest i dont expect to hear back from them but at least i can say i've given it a shot!
donna, roughly what did you put for the questions? when it comes to disney specific stuff i can go on for ages, but i get stuck with these "tell us about yourself" questions!

i've managed to get gary packed finally. did end up having a small argument about the amount of shirts he was packing, he packs more than most women......

cant wait to be there now, only 46 and a half hours and we'll be in orlando!! cant wait to meet you all, if i dont speak to you beforehand, i'll see you all in ohanas at 8pm on the 21st!!

this is what i did, i wanted to make sure all of my 3 DVC reservations for this trip were ok.

i think they make the decision to skip a port (if it does happen) the night before, as they need to rearrange activities and print new navigators off.
unless there's a huge storm heading straight for the bahamas we should be ok.

i think my plan of action for today is a load of housework, and i really do need to start packing. i've got to go pick mum up from the airport tomorrow and we leave on friday, talking about leaving it til the last minute!! lol

In the first section about yourself/family, I wrote about how Bob the kids and I feel in love with Lilo & Stitch and how we planned our wedding around the idea of "Ohana". Then I added that I have experience with trips with children from age 3 to chaperoning the marching band (my group and 20 High School Juniors and Seniors.)...then I finished about how we are looking forward to bringing our first grandchild to Disney. Although in reality I keep referring to Brittany's (Bob's Daughter) baby as his grandchild not mine...I am in complete denial about becoming a grandmother....in my head I am in my 20's not my 40's, LOL.

Have a safe flight! Are you going to be able to pop in here during your trip?

I wanted to post this on it's own.

5:15 yesterday Bob called me to come home right away...he got home from work and found Lilo in the dining room laying on her side surrounded with piles of pink tinged vomit. I rushed home and Bob, Kelly and I took her to the Animal Emergency Center. By the time we got to the center Lilo wouldn't even lift up her head, she was limp, she was rushed into triage and we sat for four hours before we got to talk to a doctor. We were told Lilo is completely dehydrated, and her red blood cell count it through the roof, yet even with little fluids in her she was still vomiting. They took x-rays and said they could see no obstruction or twisting in her stomach or bowels, but her heart rate is much higher than they would like it to be, around 4:30 they told us to come home and rest. This morning the Internist will be calling us and giving another update, and we will see where things go from there. Naturally I googled high red cell count in dogs and found that could mean she ingested something toxic....and although I have never seen her eat garbage or anything that wasn't real food, I am wondering if she got into something that our contractors are using in the remodel of the bathroom.

We are all emotional and exhausted, so the plan is to try and get some sleep while we wait for the call to come back. Those of you with pets can understand how this feels, Lilo is our baby, she is only 3 years old and she is a very sick little girl. This is all very hard especially more so since we recently lost Harley. Please keep Lilo in your prayers and send positive thoughts our way

Donna, I'm sorry to hear about Lilo. My doggie was rushed to the animal hospital once and he had to stay there about a week. Turns out he had diabetes. Keep us updated! I hope she's out soon and everything's ok!
