9/19/09 Western Magic

Heads up to everyone to check their prices. Ours went down by about $150 when I looked today. Emailed the DU travel agent to see if we can get the new price. Wish she would have caught this on her own. It's not much but it'll do for now.

Thanks so much for all of the info. I am filling in the missing info as it comes in so I can keep up with it :thumbsup2

I remember that we talked about the meeting being at 9:00 pm in the Promenade Lounge on the first night of the cruise and that we would be there and some would be there for at least an hour so those with late dinner would be able to come by and I know some may stopping by and leaving, etc. We can move it to 9:30 if everyone wants to do that :)

As far as I know LoriS' cabin number is 5512, I know it because that is the cabin we wanted to book. LoriS and I talked about it on posts # 295 & 303.

Sorry if anyone thinks it's not my business, I'm just trying to help :)

Take care,

Dennis
Technically that is our cabin right now, but I am hoping to be able to change it, that is why I never officially put it on the FE list. I should know if we are able to change by the paid in full date in July.

As for pictures, I will have to find a good recent one of all of us, but not tonight.

Hello everyone! We're back from vacation! What'd I miss? :lmao:

DS & DD are fairly decent frequent flyers but for just a moment, DD was one of those kids. What made the flight even worse were the #$^$%@ women (granny, mom, daughter) in the row ahead of me & DS (DW & DD sat behind us)...the mom in the group kept trying to give me the stink eye  Then she asked if there was anything that could be done, I replied "Yeah, next time you could charter a private plane so as to not have to deal with people in a public place!" Then she had the nerve to ask if DW was doing anything to calm the baby down? :headache: Are you kidding me? We certainly don't poke her with sticks to get her to disturb the flying public but dang it, babies cry sometimes! Of course when DW reported that the man sitting next to them across the aisle didn't complain and even pointed out that she was fussy for a total of 9 minutes (of a 4.5 hour flight), well then I lost any shred of empathy for those busybodies! pirate:

But at least we have some lessons learned: We're always refining our mode of packing so next trip we'll check DS' car seat and use the CARES straps instead. I'll either check or FedEx my carry-on as well as overnighting my meds to our destination. Of coruse we'll probably overpack when it comes time for the cruise LOL.

While there's still time, I'd like to say
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
:bday: :bday: :bday: :bday: :bday: :bday: :bday:

To my DW...okay okay, a day late, but we've been busy

9:00 Would be better for us (the earlier the better). Our kids go to bed at
8:ooPM at the latest. We will let them stay up on the cruise, of course but I don't know how long they will last on that first night. We are early to bed, early to rise kind of people. My DH gets up at 4:30, and the DKs and myself are up at 5:30(yes even on weekends and holidays).

9:00 is better for us too. I have one dd that would stay up all night but I really think the other one will struggle to make it much later. DH stays up late but I'm also one of those that likes to go to bed earlier rather than later.

Here is a picture of our family, we are in need of a new family picture, which we hopefully will get at WDW before the cruise and on the cruise!

The first picture is my husband and me. This was taken at CG for our 11th Anniversary.

The second picture is of our precious children, most of the time.:rotfl:

The children do not know anything about the cruise, it is a complete surprise to them.

They know we are going to WDW sometime this year, but are not sure when, so we can talk about WDW to them and what they want to do. We plan on telling them the day we leave. DD and I will drop off DS at school and then I will probably have a small package for DD to open up and say we are our way to WDW. Then when my DH gets done with work he will pick DS up from school, give him his package and tell him they are going to WDW.

Hopefully that will work out.

I am usually on Passporter under the name of PrincessDreamer! And will probably do a pretrip report starting next weekend after all ADR's are made. I cannot wait for Friday, because we have the REAS package, so we get to book our Palo, Spa, and Shore Excursions Friday night.:yay:

Thanks again for letting us join!:thanks:

Just checking in with everyone. 9:00 works for us, we have late dining but I'm thinking about changing it to first, we've always had first seating in the past and it worked out well.
Texasbloke, your kids are beautiful!
Anyways hope eveyone has great day!

Here is the best I could find of all of us, sad it's from Christmas though.

I am assuming tonight as long as we are PiF..

I only need one dinner at Palo so I am not terribly concerned if I don't do it until morning. Plus priority for booking since we are REAS.

I decided late dinner Thursday is first choice.

Ok now I am in panic mode AND NEED YOUR HELP!!! :scared1: I know i saw somewhere (maybe even here) that someone posted what they thought the days would hold. AKA: which meals and special events would occur which days. Can anyone please please PLEASE repost this before I lose my mind?

THANKSSSSSS!!!!! :worship:
