9:15 PM dinner?

I have reservations for 9:15 pm at chef mickey, but I just noticed that they close at 9:30. Why would they allow a reservation 15 min. before closing? Do the characters leave at 9:30? It was the only time slot left, but now i just wonder if I should cancel if nothing earlier opens up. How often should I call to check?

My husband and I had a 9:00pm ressie at Chef Mickey's last year during MNSSHP. It was awesome! The restaurant was nearly empty, they were still pumping out fresh food since there were still guests dining, and the characters seemed to have all the time in the world!

Last seating is around 930, they don't literally close and throw everyone out. Food will still be fresh, characters will still do their thing. You actually usually get more interaction later in the seating.

That 9:30 close just means no new customers after that time.
