Well a years worth of planning has come down to this: A trip report!!!
It was Myself (28) and DH (29) as well as my Aunt and Grandmother.
We spent a week at WDW prior to our trip with the last 4 nights being at the Polynesian Resort!.

Day one:

The morning of the cruise we woke up early and DH and I went to the Magic Kingdom for a couple of hours. We took the Disney Cruise line transportation which picked us up at 12pm. Getting on board was super easy since we had booked the land/sea package and already checked in at the Polynesian. We walked through the ears, had our picture taken and we were there!! DH and I went to make the Palo reservation while DG and DA went to make their spa appointments. No problems for either of us.
We loved our stateroom 6060. It was right by the midship elevators but you never heard any noise and it was easy to find! Pat was our stateroom host and he did a great job!
We went to the Beach Blanket Buffet for lunch. After the drill we went up to the sailaway party and met up with fellow DIS'ers.
I was a little nervous, but everyone we met was very nice.
That night we ate in Parrot Cay. The food was good and our servers Febin and Szlvia (I think that's how you spell them!) were great!.
We went to Wonder Quest that night. Tip: If they ask for a man with a hole in his sock: think " how do I put my foot into the sock???" DH bit a big whole right in his sock!
I thought it was pretty funny, but he was mad that he ruined a sock!
We also went to Disney Dreams on our first night, which was excellent!

Keep reading further down this thread!!! I will add the other days onto this thread! ;)

The next morning we got up early since we knew we were docking at Castaway Cay. We went up to the buffet and watched the ship dock as we ate breakfast.
We got off the ship and headed to the family beach. We figured it was closer to the ship if the sun got to be to much for me. We found a nice shady spot and left our towels and stuff and went to the shop and got our "stuff". DH and I went for a "swim", mostly we just floated along. Then we took a nap on the beach. At 11:30 we went on the Bannana Boat. Ok, NEVER again! The way out was not so bad, but on the way back my hands were getting tired and we were getting bounced around a lot. I didn't want to fall off and a couple of times I felt like I was going to bounce off into the ocean! Well, DH stuck his foot on top of mine and I didn't bounce quite so wildly after that....
We had lunch at cookies then made our way back to the ship.
We showered and relaxed and explored a little.
For dinner we were at Tritons. I probably would have liked it more if I was not making such a point to order things I don't usually try. I am a pretty basic eater. If I can't Identify it, Usually I won't eat it. Well I ordered the Lamb. It was sitting on a bed of white goo with wierd purple things and other slimy looking stuff. Well, I did my best and ate the meat and a few of the slimy things, but it really didn't look like I ate all that much when they took my plate away. Oh well, it was still a beautiful place to eat. That night we skipped the main stage show, which was a comedian and caught a few of the smaller acts. We went to Match Your Mate, but Didn't get picked. Which is ok, since DH would not have wanted to answer some of the questions they asked. ;). We strolled on deck before bed and relaxed.
:D

On the morning of day three we awoke to a lovely view of another cruise ship from our veranda. DH and I had an 8am appointment for the Surial bath. It was my first time ever in a spa and I was not really sure what to expect. They had us change into robes and brought us into the room. She explained how all the products worked and in what order and left us. We had a good time. It was fun trying all the differnt products and the steam room was very relaxing. If your plan is to induldge in any thing other than cleansing your pores, do it first. It gets really slippery in there! After we got cleaned up and dried off we headed up to breakfast. We had decided not to go into Nassau, since there was not really anything that sounded more appealing than relaxing on the ship. We had lunch at Tritons. I was a little scared when they seated us with another person, since I am not the best at small talk, but it was actually very nice. We had a good conversation and were totally stuffed. They would not let me NOT order desert. I tried to tell them I was full, but they would not hear of it. So finally I just said I would have a very small dish of ice cream. So they brought me a very small dish (just a drop in the bowl) then they gave me the real dish. It was kind of funny. (I made DH finish it) We watched Holes in the theater. We had NO idea what the movie was about before we got there, but we ended up really enjoying it. We had dinner at Animators Pallet. It was such a neat place to eat.
Hercules was really funny. They guy that played Hades was hysterical. We actually went to bed kind of early since we knew that the next day would be our last full one on the ship.

Today we had a day at sea! I think that this was my favorite day, since there were so many neat things to do on the ship. We played team trivia, we ALMOST won ;). We also attended the demonstration on animal towel folding. It was really neat and they gave us a sheet with instructions so we could make them at home. We made a few there. They were pretty sad. Our elephant came out the best. Our swan was just lame!
We played the Jackpot Bingo game, of course we didn't win anything, but it was fun anyway.
We had Palo reservations for dinner, and we really enjoyed that.
I think if we were going to do it again we would go either early or late, rather than in the middle. We really wanted to see The Golden Mickeys so it felt a little rushed. The food was great and it was so nice up there. Our server was very helpful. The Golden Mickeys was a great show!! We really enjoyed it!
We hated packing up our bags. I don't know if I could ever do a 4 night again. It was just too short.
Getting off the ship the next morning was a breeze. We had dinner in Parrot Cay and headed off the ship. The bus was ready for us and we were at the airport at 9:03. Our flight was not until 2:55, so we waited and waited. We were so tired. I fell asleep the minute I got belted in and slept through take off and everything.
We had a great trip and perfect weather. The seas were a little rocky in the evening, with the last night being the worst. We took it in stride. Just know that the bars in the shower are your friends if you are rocking a lot!! DH almost fell out! (duh?)
We booked 11/13/04 while on board! It will be a loooonnnggg wait, but that's ok, it will give us plenty of time to dream and save!
:earsgirl: :earsboy:

Thank you so much for sharing your trip report! I really enjoyed reading it!::yes::

Is the cruise you booked for next November another 4-day?

We are doing the 7 night Eastern cruise!!!
:D
The Western ports of call look more interesting, but we loved the ship so much that we wanted the extra day at sea!

The Eastern C. is so much fun and the extra day at sea is wonderful! In fact, we're a bit leary about the Western only because we enjoyed the Eastern SO much (esp extra day at sea), the ports are beautiful and the Western ports don't appeal too much to us. We don't have another 7-day planned as of now, but if I had to choose again, it would be an Eastern.
